50W FAR-RED LED Bar

Photontek’s 50W FAR-RED LED Bar is a plug-and-play supplemental bar designed to extend X/XT fixtures’ spectrum to 400–750 nm. It peaks at 730 nm and delivers a total PPF of 155 μmol/s at an efficacy of 3.1 μmol/J, using an integrated 50 W driver. The bar is IP65-rated, passively cooled, and can be daisy-chained up to 18 units. Dimensions are 1000 x 48 x 42 mm and weight is 1.2 kg (L90 > 45,000 h). Photontek recommends mixing far-red with the main full-spectrum output and using at least two bars on 1.2 x 1.2 to 1.5 x 1.5 m footprints, or three bars on 2.0 x 1.5 m fixtures, to achieve a 10–20% far-red ratio across the canopy. Light distribution is 140°, and the unit mounts directly to X/XT frames.
