The Gavita CT 1930e LED is a compact toplight engineered as a 1:1 replacement for 1000 W HPS layouts. It draws 780 W and delivers 1,930 µmol/s (≈2.5 µmol/J) with IP66 protection and a passive, cold‑forged aluminum heat sink. A rigid 1-5/8 in Unistrut mount and a 29 x 11.8 x 3.9 in footprint simplify retrofits, while EL-series controllers enable 10–100% dimming and centralized control of large rooms. Typical coverage is about 4 x 6 ft for veg or flower at commercial mounting heights. The fixture weighs roughly 15 kg and uses Samsung white plus Osram deep‑red diodes to provide a broad, full-spectrum output. Introduced in 2020 by Gavita/Hawthorne, the CT 1930e targets HPS-like distribution with lower energy use and streamlined installation.
