Watermelon Emoji & Pamellowz

GeezandDraht Let's go! Today we started our next grow-project with seeds we got at this years Mary Jane Berlin. As always, it was hard to pick what we want to grow, especially because we decided to go with 4 plants instead of 9. The reasoning behind being that we want to let these plants grow a bit bigger/wider and try out some training techniques. In the end we chose Watermelon Emoji by Poppin Fire, because we had the amazing opportunity to meet the whole crew in person and had a great time. Watermelon Emoji is a selected phenotype of a cross between Watermelon Z and Mr. Big Runtz, the flavours are sweet, artificial fruit and watermelon candy.🍉😍🍉 Secondly we chose Pamellowz by Compound Genetics, because we originally wanted the Mellowz but they had the new Mellowz crosses instead. We decided on the tropical, fruity and sweet Pamellowz which is a cross between Mellowz and Papaya.🍍🍊🍍 For germination we put the seeds in water for 24h, inside of a dark shoebox (26°C). The next day the seeds got transfered onto a cotton pad, sprayed (6 times) with water and covered with a second pad, then again two sprays of water and put inside a zip-lock bag standing upright (1/4 open). Back inside the shoebox for about 24h. After that we put the seeds to soil. All of them had about a 1cm taprout, nice! In these first 1,5 liter pots we use Biobizz LightMix, covered the seeds just a little bit with soil, watered them in with a squeeze of water and topped them with a dome that got two spray-pumps of water inside to keep the humidity up.
