The left was shorter in the beginning, and it had a thinner stem. It was struggling for light, so we brought the lights closer to these babies. The method of watering still the same. Under the plastic cup som sort of tiny mushroom grew which we took them out instantly. The exhaust fan is used only for couple of hours a day since the humidity levels are low and the plastic cup is used. To check if we can raise the humidity we placed a small cap and a small plate with water placed on the floor by the pots. The small (wind) fan is kept on most of the time.

4/9/25 Welcome to another week. Week 5 since the flip of 12/12 just ended. So today is day 36 since 12/12. The begining of week 6. About halfway done with flowering. Time to start packing on weight. also its important to note that it took a week or so after 12/12 to have pistils show up. So its closer to 28 -30 days of Flowering. I have a foxtailing pheno thats mostly green with thin buds. I have a super chonker green pheno with ridiculously chunked up golfball sized nugs everywhere.(R3) I have a sativa style but thicker buds with nice long connected colas (R2) another smaller pheno with traits of some of the others and also green. and then a singlular pheno that looks gelato dominant and its purple pretty much everywhere to the point that i didnt notice its coloring until it was next to all of its sisters that are straight green. She’s finally showing signs of her ready to be chopped next week I’ve been flushing the gelato autoflower over the past 4days and see her buds fattening up and sparkly sticky trichomes covering the full plant with orange-brown pistols while 30% of the plant is still got white pistols so with the continuing flushing over the next week she should be ready for harvest

2 girls 1 cup week 3! Thanks for stopping by and checking out my experiment. They're getting a little big to be taking individual overhead pics everyday now. They always both end up in the same shot no matter what. Will still update daily with pic. Got a new cam that can do timelapse. Almost sent it back until I said fuck it and tried TWO layers of sunglasses. Diff colors too. One more of a FLD filter color, one more of a UV filter color. Both are polarized as well. I'm sure the night vision footage will be trash with the IR behind the lenses, so the timelapse will have res checks/changes and night prob edited out. Stay tuned for that! Going 1/2 strength GHE week 3 light feed and actually changed RES last night. Was looking at em and already noticed WG was drooping more than it should. Normal transportation and growth/energize cycles are expected, but was looking overwatered. GC if you look in vid "d14" in first and second set of fingers showing interveinal chlorosis. PH has been between 5.52 and 6.4 (lowest and highest), and averages a swing in a 12hr shift from 5.71'ish to 6.17'ish. Not uploading notes again like last week, but you'd get the idea if you saw them, I take notes lol. So PH wasn't an issue. They've been averaging a 7-15ppm drop in res per 12hr and has only been climbing again due to ph down additions. I should prob change RES mid week so it's not a high concentration of ph product. So they're DEF eating proper, have stable ph swings, optimal res Temps and dissolved oxygen is good. WG taking on more water to get the nutes, causing leaves to droop from excess water. GC moving nutes from old growth to the new growth. So they're hungry. Ghe claims 62.5ppm nitrogen, 275-375ppm target per mixture below. Mixed and measured in between each addition to get my numbers. -2gal Water/calmag/hydroguard 215ppm -Micro 4.9mL - 170ppm -Grow 4.6mL - 100ppm -Bloom 3.4mL - 60ppm Nute concentration - 330ppm (nailed it again GHE) Water - 215ppm Total - 545ppm Ph'd to 5.6 final tds 563ppm Mars Hydro TSW2000 on theeee way to finish these girls off right.. some of my worries are settled. Tap roots popping out by the chute for the air line, the temp sensor, and the main stack.. going to have to pump the res out pretty soon to avoid root damage. Seems to be working so far, just like last time. May up my calmag TDS of my spring water/tap mixture to 250ppm from the 80'ish it ends up being after mixed. I'm sure they want more calcium too. Training rods installed for the mains, and all the 3 fingers are plucked. Ended up plucking a 9 finger from WG and a 5 finger from GC to make way for the under growth. Feel like Bruce Almight parting a bowl of soup lol ******didn't want to post a pic of my girls in distress, but documenting everything else, so why tf not. swapped out the clear sight tube for a more UV friendly agro green. Marked the tube in the same spot as the clear, but it was almost a gallon more in reality at the same mark. I was drowning them with no air gap below the upper growing chamber. After measuring, it was submerged by about 5/8th inch. Sorted that out, and took almost all day for em to perk up. On top of that, the new light and adding another oscillator changed my environment. No more humidifier in the tent. Thought I lost both of them.. Soggy leaves, spotting, etc. Backed nutes back down to 3/4 strength wk 3 due to slight curling in new growth and one lighter tip on one new finger. Shortened the training rods tonight and started with some bondage. Prob the last time they'll get tied down before the net gets used (if needed) here in a week or so. Backed off to 16 DLI from 20 until they really perk up. End of week 3

Just finishing up the second week of budding here. The girls have grown a bit over the last few weeks and I've neglected to measure the heights and update them, the height in this diary is of the tallest of the 4. I'm really starting to see some bud development now, starting to really get excited about the results of this grow!

Rough week for the rainbow melon. Giant limb from my maple tree crashed down on my two far pots in the group. The plant survived and should recover but lost a few weeks of growth. It did not get hit as bad as the bubblegum next door and managed to keep one of the main tall stalks. She was looking so nice before the damage and just starting to bush out too. But luckily that branch coming down opened up the sky quite a bit and the other two plants not hit are gonna do even better now and the rainbow melon should recover okay. I almost wanted to replace them but I will learn more from seeing what happens next and comparing to the other unaffected plants. Fed with compost tea, kelp and cal mag mix 700 ppm.

7/21/21: WEEK 6!!!!! She's looking pretty good and I'm super impressed with how well she has handled the heat, she's doing way better than some sativas we've grown indoors during summer..I think she'll start plumping up this week..we cut growth solution roughly a week ago but she's still pretty dark, I imagine there's a bunch in her media to use up yet.. we noticed a split starting down her main stem so we've released some pressureon the ties and wrappeda plant tie around the base temporarily... we'll update again midweek, thanks for reading and happy growing friends! 🐱❤️💡🌱 7/23/21: hairline split down the main stem has healed already, that's good news... buds are gradually starting to fatten up.. we're still around 85-90f during the day so we may consider reversing our light schedule to run at night but this is something we would do after the GDP is harvested, the other 3 plants in the flower tent are in week 3 and week 1 respectively and would probably deal with the light disruption a little better (just a guess but no sense in rocking the boat this late in flower..ty for reading friends 💓 7/26/21: She's starting to put on some weight 💪😺.. we went camping for the weekend and her buds were noticeably thicker when we returned 2 days later..I uploaded a short video ❤️🐱💡🌱
