Another Week

Wow, another week done. It's become an absolute jungle in my greenhouse. A few of the GG4/Sherbets tops had to be mainlined since they're hitting the top of the greenhouse at 7ft8in tall. The smell is definitely getting stronger every day and it goes from super pungent, to sweet, to almost tropical. They're all still looking nice and healthy. The Athena Blended Line works wonders with my well water as the plants couldn't be happier. All in all Happy Growing.

Animal Mints — Week 11 (Week 6 Flower) “Legends of the Frozen North” 12/12 from seed — no traditional veg phase. A direct transition from seedling into flowering rhythm. This run was never about controlling the plant. It was about creating the conditions… and letting the plant decide the rest. ⸻ 🌱 How did we get here — 12/12 from seed From day one, these plants were placed under a 12/12 cycle. No extended vegetative phase, no shaping beforehand. What you see now is the result of: * Early root establishment * Immediate flowering signal * Structural decisions made by the plant itself This creates a different type of growth: Less stretch chaos, more compact intention. Not bigger plants — but often denser, faster-finishing expressions. ⸻ 🌿 The Room — Controlled, but not forced At first glance, some parameters might look “unusual” for this stage. But everything is dialed based on leaf feedback (EPD) — not charts, not assumptions. * Temps: 26°C day / 18°C night * RH: ~60% * Solution & substrate: ~21°C * PPFD: plant-grown into the light (~600–700 range) We don’t chase numbers. We read the plant — and adjust only when she asks. ⸻ ❄️ Trichomes — The “Frozen North” is real This is where she speaks loudest. Trichome production is not just present — it’s accelerating daily. * Sugar leaves fully coated * Bud surfaces stacking resin layer by layer * That early frost has turned into visible density This isn’t just aesthetics. This is the plant investing heavily in protection and reproduction. And she’s not done yet. ⸻ 🌸 Pistils & Flower Development White hairs still active, still pushing. That tells us one thing clearly: ➡️ She’s still building, not finishing Calyx swelling is underway, but not peaked. Structure is set — now it’s about mass + resin + final expression. ⸻ ⚖️ Weight, Structure & “The Lean” Branches are starting to give in to gravity. Not collapse — commitment. This is the moment where: * Density becomes visible * Structure gets tested * Support decisions begin No stress signals — just natural load from proper development. ⸻ 💧 Nutrition — Simple, consistent, intentional Current feeding: * Terra Bloom * Pure Zym * Sugar Royal * Power Buds * Green Sensation * CalMag Pro pH ~6.5 | EC ~2.0 Nothing excessive, nothing reactive. Under-canopy lighting is helping: * Lower bud sites stay active * Improved light penetration in dense zones * More uniform development across the plant Instead of larf, we’re seeing usable structure deeper into the canopy. It’s not about pushing more — it’s about unlocking what’s already there. ⸻ 🧠 Observations This phenotype… has personality. * Slightly dramatic structure * Heavy resin production * Compact but expressive Not the tallest. Not the loudest in height. These are doing awesome! We have had a little bit of a change in the weather in the last week, the nights have gotten nice and cool, and the days are still quite warm. We have also had a few showers this week which they seem to have loved. We are at about 13.5 hours of sunlight a day, and cute little buds are forming quickly. These smell peppery, sharp and sweet. One of these babes has reached 7 ft from the ground; the others are between 6.5 and 7 ft aswell. We heavily defoliated these giants today. These ladies continue to impress me as we move slowly toward the autumn equinox; and into the harvest season 🌾

This week I lowered feeding to around 1.2 ec. I tried to increase light to 100% power, but with dehumidifier pushing hot air into the tent, plant was transpiring like crazy, 4-5 liters a day. I decided to keep it at 75% and closer to canopy, environment control is easier that way. Ppfd still reads 900 at top center, 600 at the lower sides. Not much else was done to the plant, at the end of the week I did some selective leaf removal again. As can be seen from the pictures, it was getting real bushy and dense with foliage again. Just to help light reach bit further down, help airflow and unblock some of the bud sites. All seems to be going well, smell is definitively getting stronger and buds are forming nicely, trichomes are appearing on sugar leaves. Leaves look quite dark green, I will start to figure out some adjusting to nutrients, cutting down Aqua Flores a touch, and introduce Atami Rokzbastic at low dosage to favor P and K more.

Semaine 5

Beginning of week 7 plants faced a severe heat and dryness wave reaching 26°C and 35%hr however irrigation time (and volume) were fast adjusted and the problem was solved. Plants didn't got affected by that as seen. One of 3 early skunks presenting yellowing on leaves and will be chopped soon. Other 2 might wait some more days.

Her flowers are forming nicely now. Pistils JUST starting to change colour. A few weeks left yet!

Day 39, had a little nitrogen toxicity, been flushing and seems to be recovering okay, much stronger Skunk smell and nice resin production with orange hairs starting to form as well!

Fastbuds Week 4 Gorilla Cookies Auto The 2 of these are growing amazing. One definitely bigger than the other but I believe the little one will catch up before to long. Been giving them straight water up to this point so About week 4 of Veg I like to give them a good molasses tea. It just gives them a nice boost into veg to flower transition from ny experience. I started by soaking the seeds in a cup of water for 24 hrs, next I switched to the paper towel method and kept them in a tupperware container with the lid attached and sprayed with water for 24 hours, I planted them 7am today 9/29/21.

Hey guys :-) A lot has happened this week :-). She has developed very well. Today it was topped on the main shoot for the first time. To do this, I used LST at Dr Grinspoon and tied the lady with hooks to the Cocos / Terra substrate rubter. I will do this with her more often, just like I will topping her more often because she will grow too extreme in the bloom. It was poured twice this week with 1 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). Fast plant spray from GBL was applied 2 times this week. New was added this week Fast Bud from GBL is preparing her for the coming flowering. Bio Grow Stay away for a while because the substrate is 30-50 % consists of fresh earth and the ladies are nice and dark green :-). Today there was another spray with neem oil against the remaining tripse which I will repeat one last time next week. As always, everything was cleaned and checked. This week an unclear problem occurred, many sheets wrapped up and looked like a chicken paw, I assumed that this was due to a powerful fan, reduced power, I was observing

Day 14 F. HOLY SMOKE THIS LIGHT KICKS ASS!!!. Lol Each week that passes has been a pleasant surprise. I expected I would have had to move a good portion of the plants over to my other space and just grow 1 or 2 under this Viparspectra xs1500. Yet her we are at week 2 ending with flowering plants who are all getti g plenty of light to convert into the growing buds. The #1northern lights is well underway with stretch and bud stacking while her midget sister tries to grow higher. The 2 Gorilla cookies are beginning their stretch now and showing fluffy tips that are the pistils bursting out. Both look like they could get very big indeed. I may have to move these two so I can get my Grandaddys mimosa and the big northern light right below this little powerhouse of sunshine. My Mimosa is really impressing me at how vigerous it is. She is stacking the buds up on her many limbs too. I did a minor defol to remove lower scrubby growth and will be keeping her focused on her mains. She looks very happy at the moment. The light really has impressed me this far and seeing buds appearing all over the plants isba promising sight. Lets see what they do in the next week. Be safe.
