this was a weird one started slow but soon picked up when she found her feet was easy enough to grow training is a must with this one she likes to drink loads but holds on to nitrogen quite a bit so would go low with it in flower buds grow huge and she gets really frosty I think another week and they would have been a lot more dense she handles struggles well as when i was on holiday and my friend was taking care the others suffered but she didnt as u can see from other diaries been a good one different in taste and high to anything iv had before so very happy thanks to all who help comment follow and make growdiaries the great place it is thanks for reading happy growing guys

2 Gran Jefa au 53ème jour de floraison. 45G de bourgeons sec et effeuillés J'ai commis des erreurs durant cette culture et je n'avais malheureusement pas la possibilité de m'en occuper comme je le voulais. Je vous suggère de ne pas reproduire mon dosage pour les nutriments(+serait mieux) et ma fréquences d'arrosage(moins d'eau et + souvent serait mieux). Je compte modifier certaines choses pour ma prochaines culture en espérant améliorer le rendement 👌 Merci pour votre visite les amis 💪

63 dienos!!!!! Tai turbūt greičiausia veislė, kurią kada nors užauginau :) kitą savaitę - bus paskutinė savaitė, super, tik 2 mėnesiai nuo sėklų!!!!!!! Šiandien mergaitei daviau tik švaraus 6,3 pH vandens be jokio maisto. Sėkmės visiems :).

I might have made a few mistakes, since I watered with Big Buds for another week even though we should have already started with Overdrive. Anyway, it still turned out to be another great autoflower. I just love the genetics of Fastbuds.

it's amazing, this growth looks much better than my first attempt, my decision was to put a smaller pot and change the light - the girl really liked it, FastBuds goriilla cookies with a small space manage perfectly:).

Easily the healthiest plant I've ever grown. She seems bulletproof. Always lush dark green growth, even when the PH goes out of range. She's shorter than most I've grown, by my first indica so maybe this is normal. Buds growing rapidly now.

What's happening growmies, hope your well. She's a small plant but hopefully will make up for it in bud size. In full flower power mode now so I'll adjust the nutrients accordingly this week. Week 9 - Day 59 (from seed) Tropicana Cookies Auto by Fast Buds Update: Yesterday I watered her with 5ml Plagron Green Sensation and 6ml of Bud Candy in 2 liters of distilled water. No pH adjustment. This should help push the buds a bit more in this final phase. Plant status: She’s stacking up nicely! Buds are really starting to swell and fill out, especially around the main cola. There’s a heavy coating of trichomes — mostly milky with just a few clears left, no amber yet from what I can see. The sugar leaves have a nice frost to them and the aroma is getting stronger each day — very sweet and fruity. Leaves are mostly healthy, although a few of the older fan leaves are starting to fade, which is expected at this stage. No major signs of deficiency or stress. I think she’s entering her final push. Based on trichome development and overall appearance, I’d estimate maybe 10–14 days left. I’ll likely start the flush in 3-4 days unless I see amber trichomes sooner. Any thoughts or feedback are welcome — feel free to check the trichome pics and let me know what you’d do!

- First round of veg nutes; keeping it light & mild ~ - Bucket is filled with 4.5 gal of water to reach roots; will lower amount of water as the plant and roots get bigger

Purified water and 1/16 of a scoop of great white mix well. 3 seedsman zkittles auto seeds in a piece of reverse rolled up 210 grit sand paper. Shook the beejezus out of it till my arm got tired to scour the shell a bit. Tossed it in the jar of tea. 24 hrs later she popped. I replanted in rapid rooter plugs on oct 6, and with in 1 day 1 plug popped, The next day the other and on the 11th I noticed the 3rds cotyledons we’re stuck in the plug. I helped her a little and by the 12 all 3 were ready to be planted in their final home, A 3 gal fabric pot filled with my mix of 1 bag ff ocean forest : 1 bag of ff light warrior. Each lady was 2” high with the first set of true leaves and nice little roots peaking through. I’m having an issue with my purified water taking 24 hrs sitting before I get a stable ph so when I measured the res water in my dome, what I thought was 5.5 now showed 8.0 😐. I fixed that and watered all 3 with the correct ph water.

A bit of a boring update. Which is great as it means nothing bad has happened. Just keep growing. Flowers are out now and I am very happy with them both. Number 2 which I nearly binned early on is a little monster. Short and stocky she has been topped and trained for 2 colas but I think she will give a good return to effort put in. Number 1 is just my queen she Is huge and graceful. Structure is on point and apart from a light defoliation she just has water and environmental happines. Space is an issue as I did not want her to be as wide as she has become but first world troubles really. I don't expect sympathy for my plant being too big..😂 Thanks for stopping by Happy growing Stay safe😷 Sorry for the colour accuracy in the pictures. I defoliated a little bit more and have been feeding every 4-5 days. The plant has a strong fruity smell and it's already so sticky. I will continue to feed for another week and depending on the size of the Buds I may begin to give nothing but water for the remainder of the grow.

What a wonderful week of growth and flowering! been watering twice a day at 250ml per watering session, usually morning and evening. Not being able to plug in a humidifier has resulted in me misting twice a day as well.

4/15/25 Things are progressing nicely. Some plants dont seem to be doing too much but 3 of them or so that are really standing out. Im curious if some of these are going to be longer flowering time than anticipated with the very obvious sativa dominant plants.

Thank you. Gave her a cocktail to help with stress. Added 1st net for lateral support, not so much now, but for later. Blue light is absorbed by photoreceptor proteins called phototropins, which trigger a hormonal response that causes cells on the shaded side to elongate, making the plant bend toward the light. Try and fill this side a little. She is quite big already, just needs to find her stride again after the undue torture. 5 apex stems with 20-30 mini cola, let them develop a little, with the apical dominance shattered, all those 20-30 will all compete with each other as soon as that stretch is initiated. Key to a good stretch is making sure the plant is cycling efficiently, with large ATP conversions occurring lights out. For now, I'm keeping light intensity high. A plant will slow its vertical growth in very high light intensities, leading to a more compact form with thicker stems and leaves. This response is a protective mechanism against light stress, which can damage the photosynthetic apparatus and lead to symptoms like leaf scorching, yellowing, and brittleness. Instead of growing taller, the plant invests its energy into creating a more robust, stress-tolerant structure. Providing plants with necessary antioxidants helps protect the photosynthetic apparatus by scavenging reactive oxygen species (ROS) that cause damage from excess light. UV light exposure can impact the xanthophyll cycle by either enhancing its photoprotective role or causing damage, depending on the intensity and type of UV radiation. UV exposure can trigger the synthesis of more xanthophyll cycle pigments to increase the plant's capacity to dissipate excess energy, but it can also cause direct damage, particularly to Photosystem II, and may lead to a decrease in the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) which indicates a reduced capacity to dissipate excess energy. Plants can respond to UV stress by increasing the synthesis of xanthophyll cycle pigments, such as violaxanthin and zeaxanthin, to improve their photoprotective capacity. UV-induced changes in xanthophyll cycle pigments can be linked to a plant's overall tolerance to high radiation stress. The xanthophyll cycle helps protect against photoinhibition, which is especially important when the plant is exposed to high levels of both UV and visible light. High doses of UV radiation can directly damage photosynthetic components, including the proteins, lipids, and pigments in the thylakoid membranes. Exposure to UV radiation can have a mixed effect on the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) of the xanthophyll cycle pigments. In some cases, UV can inhibit the conversion of violaxanthin to zeaxanthin, resulting in a lower DEPS ratio and a reduced capacity for energy dissipation. However, the total pool of xanthophyll cycle pigments may increase, and this enhanced pool size could provide a greater potential for photoprotection despite a lower DEPS ratio. The xanthophyll cycle works alongside other mechanisms, such as the accumulation of flavonoids (UV screens), to protect the plant from UV-induced damage. Blue light repairs 100% UV-induced damage in plants through a process called photoreactivation, which uses a light-dependent enzyme called photolyase. This enzyme uses energy from blue and UV-A light to directly reverse the damaging pyrimidine dimers in the DNA caused by UV-B radiation, a key mechanism for maintaining the plant's genetic integrity. After carbon, light, water, temperature, and nutrients, the limiting factor of a plant's growth is often its own internal factors or the amount of a key ingredient. Chlorophyll concentration is one such factor, as the amount of this pigment limits how much light can be captured for photosynthesis. Other factors include chloroplast number, respiration rate, and the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, as plants are often in a CO2-deficient condition. 60x60x18=64800seconds x 700 = 45,360,000moles. 45DLI Exposure to 165 µW/cm² of ultraviolet-B (UV-B) light for 3600 seconds = 1 hour, a extremely high, acute dose triggering stress responses and protective mechanisms. . The plant's photoreceptor protein, UVR8, senses the UV-B radiation. This triggers a signaling cascade that activates specific genes to protect the plant from damage. In response to the UV-B signal, the plant ramps up the biosynthesis of protective compounds like flavonoids, phenolic acids, and anthocyanins. These compounds absorb UV radiation and accumulate in the epidermal layers of leaves to shield inner photosynthetic tissues. The plant may increase leaf thickness or deposit more cuticular wax, creating a physical barrier to the radiation. The plant will produce more enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidants to neutralize the reactive oxygen species (ROS) produced by the UV-B radiation. The plant activates enzymes, including photolyases, to repair DNA damage caused by the UV-B. These repair mechanisms are critical for preventing permanent genetic mutations. While protective measures are activated, a high dose delivered over a short period can cause stress that overwhelms the plant's defenses. Photosynthesis is highly sensitive to UV-B. A high dose can inactivate Photosystem II (PSII), damage thylakoid membranes within the chloroplasts, and reduce chlorophyll content, which lowers the plant's overall photosynthetic capacity. Despite repair mechanisms, high UV-B doses can inflict persistent damage on the plant's DNA. The overproduction of reactive oxygen species can cause oxidative stress, leading to the oxidation of lipids and proteins and disrupting cellular function.

pre-flowering they still seem very loaded with nutrients in fact one has burnt tips so I am watering abundantly with only demineralized water when they drain they start to feed them. I removed all the supports, we wait for the flowers 😂

I guess we’ll call this the start of veg since all 4 plants are showing their starter leaves. So far so good with the front loaded soil. Keeping a close eye on them for now. Also decided to keep feeding RO water for a couple more days and then I’ll start to mix in the tap water. The demand for CalMag is low right now and my soil is already pre amended. Day5 update: not much to report, just water and wait. Bumped up the lights a bit to around 230ppfd and 12.1 DLI. That’s going off cocoforcannabis website par tests on the sf-7000. I am running the seedling mode for more blue light so not 100% sure the math is spot on, but should be close. I’m at 28” as well not the 25” they test on so that adds a variable of error.
