Day 36. Still no feed.... Again, difference in size growing many autos is HUGE pain. One Northern Lights is smallest plant I ever grew, I doubt I would I achieved it with loads of LST ;))) Will try to lift that midget a bit ... Some flower, some not, Diesels are still the only strain I would grew, but most probably not once ;))) they look amazing !!! 10 out of 10 ! Green Crack still the obvious looser at the moment and is still mostly in veg ... Next watering will be full of goodies for them !!! Couple leaves off here and there, couple branches cropped or repositioned, still waiting for stretch to be over before installing some support. Day 37. One more girl took SuperCroping like champ and at the moment has very even canopy. All garden looks fine, hope feed won't spoil that joy ;))) Day 40. Girls still on water, but during every two days, so it's again pain ... Whatever pot size I take - girls start to go faster, than my laziness wants :))) Cleared bottoms of first row, next watering will clear other 5, just want to see are they ok. Some strains hates any job done to them and stops developing.... Would be stupid to slow them down in final stretch ... Happy Growing !!!

Still a few week before harvest. I have stopped adding N as much as possible to my nutrient solution. It might help the bud swell up a little more the last few weeks. Also been adding big bud and bud candy from Advanced Nutrients. I will feed the girls 2 weeks more before going into flush. My soil Sour diesel is ready for flush anytime soon. #1 (back right) have suffered from being to close to the light while also not having enough airflow around it. Have fixed the air problem but cant bring my light any further up. kept around 22 cm from the tallest branch 30< cm from the rest which is the minimum recommended. They smell really pungent and the suger leafs and buds are coted with crystals. My autoflower (front left) is doing good too and i really cant wait to taste it. A good week (kinda)

Week 1 Day 1 - 8/12/2023 1st Water change Day! Such a special time it is when you remove the little bit of Nutes that you gave them as an appetizer and you give them their first real meal. Added 39 Gallons of Water to my system SILICA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Root Drip = 1mil/Gal = 39mil Cal Mag= .25mil/Gal = 9.75 = 10mil FLoraMicro= 3.0mil/Gal = 114mil FloraGro = 2.0mil/Gal = 78mil FloraBloom = 2.0mil/Gal =78mil ORCA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Week 1 Day 2 - 8/13/2023 Everything is looking good the roots are making their way to the water and the new grow is looking nice and green. Week 1 Day 3- 8/14/2023 Everything is right on track, they are looking beautiful and in the praying position all leaves happily lifting towards the light. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 A little worried today her birth Twin the BA I am growing out is looking great and is raised towards the light and this one is just slightly under.. Will keep an eye on Her. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 Walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. Also looking at the roots and she has some poking out the bottom but just not in the water yet.. Luckily we are set for 14 days before next water change so the system will stay stable and her sister already has roots in the water so she should only be a day or two behind.. we will just keep tracking but she is delayed. Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Roots in the Water!!! Huston, we have a successful launch. This grow is on! Humidity was a little low this morning so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that the temp looks great, the PH looks good, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning from over filling the cloning machine seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started. Everything for growth and environment is looking good and on track, there are a couple of mutations with this Lady will keep an eye on those leaves. IMO this grow is going A lot during this week 1 then week 1 of the last grow when I had them drowning. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. Week 7 is going smoothly so far. The flooding issue has subsided and the clones seem to be really taking off now. I'm excited to get back from vacation and really see my girls and my reservoir conditions after a 2 week hiatus.

So I chopped one girl on Monday and will be chopping the other girl today, will be back when they are both dried with weight and my recap on my first grow ?

The plant is looking great!! I've done super cropping (hst) with some clips and it's working perfectly!! I think she's starting to go into preflower but at the moment there are no signs of pistiles or strong odour.

She’s had a big growth spurt. She’s now twice as big as she was a week ago. However, I get the feeling she’s not quite living up to expectations. The first pistils are starting to show.

Every has gone absolutely smooth so far with growing this girl. Full 8 weeks old today & 21 days into flower. She has a fairly strong sweet smell & her buds continue to bulk up. As I just harvested 1 plant , it's created a bit of space for me to put her into the Flowering tent for 12 hrs each day & move her back to veg for the remaining 8 hrs, as I'm running 780watts in the flower tent, hopefully this will bulk them up more. Simple L.S.T. grow grew her out a few nodes & bent her over & tied her down, doing a similar thing with the side branches. Then I've just let her go & do her own thing & haven't done anything other than feed her, haven't really had to do any defoliation as there's not that many leaves on her naturally. Significant change this week with the light schedule from 18/6 to 12/12. She has developed nicely with her canopy growth. The N13 has plenty of auxiliary shoots sprouted at every angle her stem is robust and she stands at 53cm. From here on she will receive phd balanced water with amino acids as requntil week five!

HELLO GROWING FRIENDS - Please look at my Aftermovie Growvideo, which cost me about 4 hours to create. hope you like it! Day 72: The Finale 🌿🌟 It’s finally time. My very first grow is coming to an end—at least the cultivation phase. The plant is now ready for harvest, and I can’t believe how incredible this journey has been. I never expected to enjoy the whole process so much—from nurturing the plants to watching them grow and evolve. I’m absolutely hooked and can’t wait to dive into the next steps: harvesting, drying, curing, and of course, starting a new grow soon with fresh ideas and experiments! While it may not be the largest yield, the quality of the buds speaks for itself. The time, love, and care I’ve put into this grow is visible, and I’m pretty proud of the results. I’ll admit, I was a bit impatient at times (which I think every first-timer can relate to 😅), but the experience was priceless. Here are a few interesting highlights from my trimming and harvest process: 1️⃣ Dark Phase Before Harvest Two days before harvest, I put the plant in complete darkness to encourage resin production. I'm not sure if it really made a difference, but it was worth trying! 2️⃣ Wet Trim vs. Dry Trim I decided to go for a wet trim because the buds were really dense, and I wanted to avoid any risk of mold. I’ve read that wet trimming can speed up drying and may slightly impact the quality, but this is part of the learning experience. Next time, I’ll try a dry trim for comparison! 3️⃣ Yield Update Wet, the total came in at 209 grams from my plant. Trimming took around three hours, and it was actually a lot of fun, despite the time commitment. 4️⃣ Curing Plan The buds are now hanging in the tent for about 8 days. Once dried, they’ll go into jars with Boveda Packs (62% humidity) for another 3 weeks of curing. I'll update the smoke report once they’re fully cured, but I’ve already had a sample of the same strain from a friend, and I can say it’s pretty amazing. Final Thoughts on My Grow 🌱✨ As mentioned earlier, this grow has been an absolutely incredible experience, and it has definitely set me on a path to jump right into my next grow. There were ups and downs along the way, such as over-pruning, which I believe stressed the plants a bit. Additionally, I think they could have benefited from an extra week to mature. We also faced many temperature fluctuations this summer, which impacted the plants due to external weather conditions. I’m really pleased with the quality of the buds. The quantity is okay—I can’t fully gauge it yet—but I’m sure there’s more potential to unlock. I’ve gained valuable experience in what worked well and what didn’t. Overall, the countless lessons learned during this grow far outweigh the few mistakes made. I’m incredibly proud of my first results! Back from a short trip and they’re looking great! Looking ahead to my schedule, it became apparent I was going to need to harvest sooner rather than later if I wanted to be at my house for the first week or drying. Trichs were about 50% milky and maybe 5% amber on average. I decided I’d be staging th harvest over a few days. I was going to try washing them prior to drying to make sure the pm is neutralized and because two of the outdoor ones are probably covered in city soot 🙃.

This week has been a good one all round. The sun has been beaming down all day for days and I still due to continue for a while. The gorilla 🦍 has now started to get to a nice bushy size, unfortunately outgrowing the original tent position. After the mistake I made with the Rhino Ryder I grew by taking the bold move to leave permanently in the elements, the cold temps at night really slowed bud production. I have had to improvise and make a shoddy attempt at lifting the tent to allow the room needed.
