9/24 Busy as fuck and personal emergencies always hit during harvest season. I took a few tops from my favorite gmo just so I have some if the weather fucks me. I'll take more today probably. WATERED YESTERDAY. I'll post pictures of dry flowers and do the reports. Three are still standing. That huge gmo is going to extracts though. 9/25 9/26 We are getting a week of rain. After looking at my trichs I decided to pull the GMO's I had left. I was sick of cutting branches due to grey mold and I was starting to lose buds to botrytis. Trichs got to about 10% amber on most. Maybe more. I worked like a mule. I was going to leave my favorite gmo and the sherb pie. However, my wife had multiple medical emergencies that required hospitalization. I couldn't risk letting my girls turn to mush if she had to stay. I'm glad with my decision. Everyone now I see is asking about bud rot and pm cures. This happened at the same time last year. She was hospitalized during late late flower. I couldn't keep this updated and I took the plants ad quickly as I could and rough wet trimmed some of them. Some plants got hung whole. I have been in trim jail. I have finished two plants and that is working my balls off. The one in the fifty and the event horizon. I'll do the harvest reports and add pictures but with my wife how she is and the work load I'm going to have to wait. I also left buds to ripen right before the rain and got lots of nice amber flowers that I froze to make a temple ball. I have lots of content. I just need time and a place to do it. I have one lone survivor. The seedling in the ten that seems to be a sativa hybrid. She's a beast and I think can handle the rain due to the fluffy buds. If I see problems I could easily carry it inside. I'll be back with some pics and videos but for now breaks. 9/28 Busy as FUCK. SICK. Been in and out of the hospital with the wife. I haven't taken picturesor been on here but ill be more active i just havent hadcthe time. I'll wait until shits dry and I can do my harvest reports. I'll look to see if I have any pictures I can upload My sativa hybrid survived the rain. All this rain has made its leaves turn yellow and start to drop. It needs food I think. I'll check the trichs but I know it's not ready. The buds are like soda bottles but they are loose. Like a string of calyxes. I don't flgrow sativas so I'll have to ask for some help. I'm trying to decide if I should feed it. It looks hungry. I'm going to have to scope it and then I'll feed if necessary. I'll take pictures and a video when I have the chance. 9/29 Rain stopped and the sun came out. I need to take some pictures and put them up here and do a harvest report. My little BIG Sativa hybrid in the ten got scoped today. It's weird it's starting to foxtail some. . I've had tons of emergencies but I've bern kicking asses and taking names. I've got one GMO (one pheno was much faster flowering than the others), one event horizon and the sherb pie all curing. I'm just waiting on the others to dry. I've got a couple gmos that are just going to extract. One is really nice though and I'm keeping it for smoke. That's trimmed too. I have been working on the other event horizon which will be done today because it's time for it to be cured. I am sick and sore as fuck but I know how important this is and it's mine and my wife's medicine for the year. Sherb pie was a let down quantity wise but I let it get eaten by ear wigs for too long. I've got to get back to it but when I get it done I'll take the pictures and do the reports reports but this breaks over. I've got a BUNCH of fresh frozen too that I'm planning on running bubble hash with and aging a temple ball.

🚀 Week 7 Overall | Flower Week 2: The Great Stretch & Soil Struggles 🌿 What’s up growmies! We’ve officially moved into Week 7 overall, which marks the second week of flowering. The girls have absolutely exploded! That Week 2 stretch is in full effect and it’s beautiful to see. Because of the crazy growth, I had to step in with some light defoliation and a "mini" lollipopping from the bottom. I want to make sure the strongest branches have enough energy to reach for the sky. Once the stretch is over and they stop growing taller, I’ll do one final heavy defoliation and a proper lollipopping, but for now, this was definitely necessary. The Struggle: I’m still dealing with the yellowing of new leaves. Since I’m running a no-chem, low-feed organic setup, "nutrient burn" is highly unlikely. I’m starting to lean towards the fact that I messed up my living soil mix and it’s lacking oxygen. The Fix: I decided to drill some extra holes into my old pots to get better aeration into the root zone. Lesson learned: for the next run, I’m definitely upgrading to a proper living soil bed! 🛏️ I honestly hate this kind of stress during a grow. I’m just crossing my fingers that the plants finish strong and the root system doesn't get messed up. Stay tuned and happy growing to everyone out there! 🙏💚 One love!

Day 77 I'm running out of vertical space for pinus contorta, this weekend i will open the box to move the leds higher and will try to do some decent photos. At this point i've added the Pinus purple matcha to the diary because she's huge and impossible to not notice, should be around 1,5m² almost 150cm tall. Had to do a very risky move and "soft crop" 2 apicals because of burn risk, too close to the leds. I wasn't expeting a freakin' tree like that!

Dia 56 las plantas se ven muy sanas y bien, los rebrotes empiezan a desarrollarse ya terminamos con la poda de rebrotes interiores en las ramas, ahora queda esperar que empiece la fase de floración, yo creo que en la White Noise y en la 1051 empezará antes a florecer que la glowstarz ya que sus geneticas son indicas. Estan muy grandes y se ven muy bien seguimos trabajando 💪🏼💪🏼

Welcome back to the conclusion of the Lemons! Day 56 from seed on the dot and these two girls came down, which is crazy fast! I had originally planned to let these girls run for another week, but the stem snapping on LP#2 put an end to that as she wasn't recovering well by the next day and I thought better to harvest now. The trichomes are in a good spot anyway, so I don't feel like I've lost out at all. The wet weight is good, but massively inflated due to the stems, so I expect to lose at least 75% of that, but I still think these girls yielded reasonably well. I like to dry in 2 stages in order to slow down that initial dry as the humidity is naturally quite low here. By leaving the stems and most of the leaves until Stage 2 I can control my dry time a little better. I leave the buds on the stems until they go into jars. There's no hard rule to how long I leave between stage 1 and 2, it depends entirely on how a particular dry is going and I judge it as it goes. Dry took 6 days total, trimmed large leaves at day 3, the rest at day 6.

So this week after I gave it under nutrients I apparently gave it too much nitrogen while having a potassium deficiency. Shiney dark leaves, So i fixed that, but some didn't bounce back, and I tried nitrogen. I think they are doing pretty good considering everything I've put them through SO FAR. lol. Nutrients are NPK Raw's total lineup, follow their instructions at first, Fastbuds adjustments as of this week.

March, 3rd. Like The San Fernando Valley, the Strwaberry Cough Girls are growing Vigor Topdressing Silica helped to Improve the strenght of stems and Branches. Girls showing lots of laterals , and i Stopped Training on them , because they are growing more wild after every Training Watering nearly Daily around 0.5l Feeding as they need it. Girls look extremly happy and green

RSQ Wedding Cake has just start producing hairs but still not in flower yet. FB Cherry Cola has already started producing some Icy . SS Bruce Banner has an issue going on, I've got mixed reviews on what it could be. Added about 8ml of Athena IPM to the water for that one. Hopefully she snaps back and grows strong

This week with this girl has been awesome she has really started to take off now that her soil is rite! She grew over 5" in the last week and that's what I chose to take for my clones. 2 to be exact and hopefully will have better results with this go around. Took me 2 clones off this mom plant so now she has been topped twice. Hopefully with the lessons from personalsmoke will end up with a couple clones of puffinz. They look sad at the moment but I havnt seen what normaly happens to clones 24 hours later. I give momma about 330 ml of de-clorinated 6.8 ph water every 2 or 3 days when the hydrometer goes around 3. This week went outstanding. I did a final round of defoliation, and I am still feeding Flower nutrients with a PK booster. These ladies are ready to start stacking. The tallest plant is the Durban Thai X C99, and she is 50 inches, while the rest are all between 40 and 48 inches. It is just time to relax and watch the flowers form. I am still planning on harvesting on December 21st, but I will pluck one or two ahead of time if they are ready. Overall very solid strain from Ethos as I expected. They definitely pushing the boundaries. This strain is extremely pungent and smells like a bag of Skittles when you just open it. Wish I could turn it into an air freshener and smell it all day long. Smoke is off the charts and very uplifting. LOVE Ethos Zweet Auto!

Another fun strain to run from Fastbuds, Bruce banner was amazing at a total of 83 days , came out with some thick dense resiny coated buds , an very sweet smell! Has very tight buds with tight stems so it would def be better to tie her down an open her up for some LST ! I highly recommend y’all trying Bruce Banner out , you won’t be disappointed!!

8/19/23 - Day 67 - Things are still looking good. We just had a water change. A couple more weeks! 8/21/23 - OK, ok ok, we have a lot of work coming up. Right now is like the calm before the storm. The storm I'm talking about is harvest, trimming, drying, and curing. This is the kind of labor that you LOVE to HATE. Especially with how many buds ill be pulling from this LEAF box. Let's talk about progress real fast. She is getting bulkier every day. Overnight she drank about 300+ ppm of nutes. She likes the nutes a lot. I'm taking this as a reason for all the little snowy crystals and the enlargement of the buds. Flushing: For about a week before harvest I will empty the water+Nutes and refill only with Water. We want the plant to suck up and replace all the nutes in the buds with water. This is called flushing. Trimming plans and Tools: When it's time to trim the plant, I've got a plan in mind. I'm going to trim the buds while they're still wet, and I'll leave them attached to the stems. To simplify the drying process, I will split the LEAF into two parts – the top and the bottom. Since space is a bit tight in the LEAF with this grow, I will keep just the buds on the branches. This will help the air circulate the buds better. I've even found this cool trimming tray on Amazon that I'm planning to use. I've realized that having the right tools for trimming is essential. Just like I'd put on gloves to work on a car, I will use nitrile gloves to keep things clean while trimming. And I'll use proper trimming scissors instead of regular ones. These scissors are designed for this job and should make the process much smoother. Amazon - Trimming Tray - (somewherr brand pictured above) Amazon - Nitrile Gloves Amazon - Trimming Scissors Drying Plans and Tools: Once I'm done trimming, it's time to dry the buds. I'm thinking of using simple tension rods, like those small shower curtain rods, to hang the branches. This way, I can create two levels inside the drying box. The lower part can rest on a SCROG net to ensure good airflow and even drying for all the branches. The LEAF box will handle the drying parameters. The environment inside the LEAF box will focus only on keeping the humidity at 60% and moving the air around getting the buds to a non-mildew amount of humidity. Amazon - Tension rods 16-28” Curing Plans and Tools After the buds are dry (60% humidity), the next step is curing. This means I'll be storing the buds in sealed glass jars. I've got mason jars and hygrometers to monitor humidity levels. Once the jars are filled with buds, I'll seal them and put them in an cool, dark spot. I plan to open the jars briefly every day to let in some fresh air. (15min). I'll know the curing is done when the humidity inside the jars stays around 62% during these "burps." She went from about 900 at the beginning of the week to about 330. Now she's back up to 500ppms. We change the water in one more day. 8/24/23 - Day 72 - It's official: I have moved the smell slider up! Holy shit, does it smell potent. I put my arm in there through the Weed forest, and when my arms came out, I was attacked by the Skunk BOSS. I had to shower and change my outfit to eliminate the smell. GC isn't ready for it, but she isn't in charge here. She should have stuck with WG when she extended a helping hand. Since falling behind, WG has thrown up a peace sign to GC as to say "see ya sucker". It's my favorite bud by far on WG. Bitch has got an attitude 🤣. RES sitting at 87ppm @5.9. Yellowing has started.. going to have to check trics more often so I get that sweet spot I'm looking for. ======================================================================================================== Day 78- these girls are starting to stink! Come on WG... ripen up so we can get this over with.. lowered lights power a bit today. RES climbed from 87 to 137. Drained 2gal, added 2gal RO. down to 38ppm. Forgot to mention the ice probe has been unplugged for over a week now. Been putting a 3/4 full 1L frozen bottle in the RES to chill. Rotate out every 12hr with a fresh. At lights on, and 12hr later. Full bottle got Temps too low for my liking. ======================================================================================================== Day 79- tick tock.. tick tock.. come on WG.. she's showing a little fade on her leaves. Seeing more of a calcium difficiency on her fans than fading honestly. Trichomes taking their time ripening as well. I'm SURE this strain ambers up.. taking their time for me though.. dont know how long I feel comfy flushing hydro though.. I did notice a few exploded trichomes up top, which has me thinking I need to go ahead and chop within the next couple days. If I notice any more ruptured anywhere else I haven't poked it with the scope.. I'm hanging the bitch that night. May give her 24hr dark period, since I've tried some other bro-science and it seemed to help. *edit* felt bad starving WG and she's not more amber coated. Gave her a bit of nutrition tonight. GHE aggressive ripen. M-2.8mL/g G-2.8mL/g B-4.5ml/g and 5mL calmag (using RO). Came out high @ 867 so I pulled 2L and dumped 2L RO in. Sitting at 613 @ 5.9. ======================================================================================================== Day 80- well, the 3 days starving the girls kicked their metabolism back in gear. I want more amber before chop chop. They quit eating and were drinking MUCH less signaling the end. Was down to topping off once a day, maybe a liter to a liter and a half. Since feeding yesterday, they've started eating and drinking like they were on week 10 again. Topped off 3.5L in the last 16hrs. TDS dropping with water level, even more when topped off with straight RO. I'm not giving em any more nutes. Last push for some extra weight before the end. ALLOT more frosty today than yesterday as well. ======================================================================================================== Day 81- Started flushing again. Maybe starting their metabolism again will help ripen these trics. If not, they're getting chopped @ day 84. Don't want to let em go too long and regret it. I may have f'd em up feeding again after the 3 days starving. Time will tell ======================================================================================================== Day 83- still waiting... 💤 Going to order some bubble bags. Freezing all GC and trim/larf from WG for some bubble hash. Aug 10: doing quite well and is still the tallest of the four plants. Manifolded to 8 colas, and she has the most sativa type leaves of the four plants. Lots of rain lately but still needed lo be watered twice today as always. Top dressing of malted barley and Gaia Power Bloom. Aug 13: don’t take flash pics unless you’re immediately using a 730 nm light as a bloom booster. The far red light puts the plant into dark mode two hours faster. I figure this far red light counteracts the flash which is good side benefi.
