good week, they are flowering beautifully and there's no much smell until now. I saw some brown pistils and I'm wondering what's happening.. I'll keep monitoring them and this week I'll improve tro coolers to down the temperature

April 27-29th the biggest plant looked really naked and honestly I was scared it wouldn’t produce anything

Howdy, So this is now the first day of week 14, which is 99 days from sprout, 53 days from when I flipped the lights to 12/12. Still maintaining nutrients at the same levels, topping up on alternate days with RO water or Nutrients. Checked the trichomes under the scope yesterday, but forgot to save the video. So will post a video in a couple days time when I check them again. So far it’s looking like they’re about 75% clear, 24.5% cloudy and the other half percent are made up of translucent amber trichomes. I think she’s still got another 2 weeks in her, as I’ve read that people make the mistake of cutting early because they go off breeders flowering type from the day they flip lights when you should do it from the day you see pistols, which for me was about 8 days into 12/12. Really struggling to keep humidity down, so have a 10L per day dehumidifier coming this week to aid me in the last couple weeks to make sure all this hard work wasn’t for nothing! I needed one anyway to use once this lady is hung up to dry. I am still having to cut off about 5-10 buds per week that are burning unfortunately. I am also in the process of building a grow room around the tent, if I can get it finished, that will mean I can give these ladies some more space and finally be able to raise the lights. I think the better quality smoke will be just under the canopy as I have a feeling the lights are frying off the THC faster than the plant can produce it. Hopefully it can recover once I raise the lights... Anyway, waffling over. 🌱

This week was another great week for the ladies, we are in week now 3 and did not have time to start this diary earlier but het better late then never. We are growing 5 out of 6 due to a fuck up did and accidently broke the stem in week 2 so 1 died but the others are striving like i haven't experienced before. I am pretty sure its because we choose are great genetic from Dutch passion but we also changed to Green House feeding and i must say that the results so far are great and their slogan keep it simple is exactly that super simple. Since we (We as in My Son and I) are already in week 3 they are slowly starting to show flowering and i see super healty plants that look different by the day. In closing i fucking love this hobby and sharing our experiences together on this website.😍

After 4 days of heavy rain, the first mold appeared... So I spent about 18 hours searching for plants and picking out mold with tweezers After last year's experience with another seed bank, I expected the plants to be very affected by mold, but I have to say that Fast Buds genetics coped very well! Mold appear mainly on blisters to which the stem of the leaf leads water, which then collects between the stem and the blister I trimmed the plants more so that the air flows better and that water does not stick to them The plants look healthy and the flowers are gaining strength Especially the dark purple phenotypes look very dense and hard. it also looks very resistant to mold Very pleasant sweet fruity scent I haven't seen my children for 3 days, it's raining extremely ... the last time I was chased out by swarms of ants in the early evening, I've never experienced this before, there were maybe a million of them and they sat on me and on the plants I'm finally going to visit them tomorrow, I expect I'll have a lot of work to do with mold and I hope the swarms of ants haven't harmed them in any way

Day 42 - Kinda crazy how fast it's gotten to be day 42 (the meaning of life - *) in the grow. Haven't watered yet. Plan on doing that with the above nutrient schedule tomorrow or the day after. And I think that might be the last time I give any nutrients to the plant. Pistils are beginning to curl, and I've seen (just a few) amber tirchomes on one bud. I want to harvest on the earlier side because I don't want this harvest to have a big couch-lock effect. Prefer a more cerebral high, although some bodily relaxation is nice too. So I think I will be harvesting at the latest by April 10th (Day 56). Of course I will continue to watch how the plant develops and if no further trichomes are turning yellow/brown in a week, I'll wait longer. The trichomes on the sugar leaves have a wonderful lemon citrus smell by the way. Not what I was expecting, but that's fine 😛 Day 45 - Made a video of the trichomes. They definitely look cloudy enough to me. No more nutes for sure, harvest in 10 days max I think.

Day 64 - Starting week 10 today and not much happening. I didn’t even take her out of the tent, just left her in, tucked some leaves and got updated pics. Looks like she’s really starting to bud up nicely now. Day 65 - She’s definitely getting pretty cramped in the tent but not a whole lot I can do about it. Doing what I can to keep all the sites exposed and went and cut a couple lower limbs off that aren’t getting much light. Also gave her 2 gallons of pH’d water and cal-mag today. I’m giving her about 2 gallons every two days, she’s drinking a ton. Next watering, I’ll be giving her a dose of the technaflora nutes. Day 67 - The pot was dry already today so gave her a feeding of nutes today and following their schedule of feed, water, water feed so next watering will be plain pH’d water. Did a pretty heavy defoliation as well as removing a bunch of lower growth. This will probably be the only time I do this to her and will just removed dying or dead leaves from here on out, I’m just hoping I didn’t over do it but I supposed we’ll see how she does the next few days. Day 68 - All seems good and chugging along nicely after the heavy defoliation and somewhat lollipopping yesterday. Didn’t even take her out of the tent, just tucked a couple leaves that are trying to stand up and block the light. Day 69 - Right in cue, she was ready for water today so she got two gallons with cal-mag pH’d to 6.7. Looks like she’s finally stopped stretching at 27.2 inches tall and hopefully now she’ll start beefing up on the buds. Day 70 - The end of week 10 and she’s still got a ways to go and gonna be way past the 9 weeks they’re “supposed” to take but I always expect things to go longer but this will most likely be a 15-16 week harvest. Other than that, I didn’t do anything with her today but she’s definitely going to be needing more water tomorrow.

Alright let's do this !! The seeds were soaked for a few hours in a KNF seed soak, and placed in paper towel. Looks like there are twins in there. Separated them and will try to grow the smallest one. When germinated they moved into a jiffy and eventually in their final pot once roots poked through the jiffy. The final pots are 40L of different soil mix. One is a very good commercial mix and the other is my own mix. Seeds really isn't my strong suit so they always tend to struggle a bit until well established.

I.missed a week last week while in the room. My.phone died and it was late and I only go in about every three days or so to adjust and water! This Bruce is a strong pheno and I will be flipping them all into flower soon !

Pics taken right before chop, currently hanging for the next 8-12 days and then a cure for a good few weeks. Pictures speak for themselves, I had high temps, supercropped the help out of them and yet are still the nicest looking bud I have ever grown since I started in 2003. Can’t wait to test how they smoke. I have two phenos but off to buy some more to do a more in depth pheno hunt.

Mixed my own soil and let it cook for a month, slurry test is 6.4ph and 400ppm. Lots of work but I think the plants are liking it....so far so good, will be flipping soon. 2/1/2024- Pre-Germination Activities Day 1 I have 21 weeks until final photo is do.. I took 3 seeds out of cold storage and will let them get to room temp for the next 48 hours before I go with Glass of water for germination. I have 3 beans because I will start from the very beginning helping ensure I present the best Pheno. This is going to be a fun one.. I am a few days away from being able to clear my tent out for this run.. I have a breeding run in right now and the Seeds are a few days away from being mature enough for me to take down the girls. Once I get them down I will need to get my tent cleaned up and turned over right away. This is going to be close, I will have to time them to the water and into the tray at the right time.. because I will need to get lighting on them right away.. I have my 2X2 and my light ready incase I need to hold them in the cloning machine if the others are not done in the next few days.. Glad I have options that can stretch me out for a week or 2 to give me a little more time. 2/2/2024- Pre-Germination Activities Day 2 I checked on my breeding run to see how close the seeds are and if the tent is ready for me to clear and clean but alas I am still going to need a few days. I setup the emergency 2X2 and that should give me 2-3 weeks. The plan is to still wait one more day to allow the beans to warm up to room temp and then drop them in Water sometime tomorrow. Form my Emergency 2X2 I have the following: 4" inline fan and carbon filter Fan VS-2000 light 2/3/2024- Germination Activities Day 0 - Dropped the Beans in.. Today is 0 day.. Go.. Go .. Go.. 2/4/2024- Germination Activities Day 0-1 - Checked in on them this morning and no tap roots yet.. covered them back up and back in to the closet they went. I setup the Root Riots and the Seed tray for them. I Ensured my water that I was soaking the root riots in was PHed to 5.8 and I used RO water. Afternoon Update: Checked on my Breeders and they are done. I started to harvest them, I took down the one I had reversed with STS and I took down the Black African Magic- All but one bud, I wanted to get some pics of that one today. I was only able to get 2lbs into the Cannatrol because I had to be very careful to keep the bud from the plant that was treated with the STS separated from the other seeded bud that was pollenated from the plant I reversed. Cannatrol could have held an additional 2oz of wet but not today. Ideally I need 1 more Cannatrol so I can take an entire Tent, but will figure that out. I put an additional 1.5lbs into the freezer to wait it's turn into the Cannatrol, I would have left it on the plant and taken it in 4 days when the dry cycle gets done but wasn't sure how much 2.2 lbs was equivalent to chopped and wet trimmed. 2/5/2024- Germination Activities Day 0-2 - Checked in on them this morning and 2 of them have very small tap roots out.. one still doesn't going to give them some more time. I will check in on them this evening and see if they are more open if so I will transfer the ones that are ready to their medium and seed tray. 2/6/2024- Planting Day TRUE Germination Day 0- Checked in on them this morning and all 3 of them have tap roots out. I broke the bottom of the tap root for #1 which was the biggest.. pretty sad.. I hope she survives.. I tried to be careful it just snapped off when I was trying to get it in the root riot right. Other than that all three are now in their in-between home in the 2X2 while if finish clearing and cleaning out their forever homes. 2/7/2024- Germination Day 1- Checked in on them and no surprise no sprouts yet. Sprayed the dome to moist it and light spray to the tops of the Root Riots. 2/8/2024- Germination Day 2- #3 is popped and it looks like #2 will be popped by this evening.. I got my second Cannatrol today so now I can take down the rest of the tent and get it into the dry/cure. 2/9/2024- Germination Day 3- #2 is popped as well.. so I have #2 and #3 up and still waiting to see on #1 but that might be a loss since I accidently broke off some of the Tap root when transplanting. 2/10/2024- Germination Day 4- #1 has Popped... We have ignition on all 3.. YAY!! I finished clean up and install of RDWC system, this time was unique the back left buckets 3 inch pipe wasn't seated correctly so I had to clean up about 12 gallons of water all of the floor. I also had two leaks coming from one of the Waterfall return junctions, this is why I do a full pressure test before I put anything in. I will continue to monitor it through tomorrow to ensure that I am good to go and then I will finish setting up the baskets and prepping the water to be ready for the ladies planting day!!! 2/11/2024- Germination Day 5- #1 Of course is going to be my trouble plant.. No matter what If she lives through planting in the system and making it, I think I might not cull her at all regardless, she has been such a problem, makes me wonder if she will be super worth it towards the end.. We will see as we go through this grow, but #1 has a piece of the shell on the leaves, Other than that I set up a new thing I have been doing since last grow converting my Baskets into Sure plants so I can see exactly where the water is when I plant them and ensure I have the water up high enough that they are able to access it and grow but not too high were they are drowning. 2/12/2024- Germination Day 6- Everything seems to be going good.. will just keep them moist and let the roots grow for a few more days before I transplant to forever home. 2/13/2024 - Germination Day 7- Just keeping them Moist. 2/14/2024 - Germination Day 8 - Planting day.. they are now in the system.. :-)I had to fill the water to the bottom of the basket where I could see water on the bottom rocks and just coming up where I had created my whole/ sure plant. 2/15/2024 - Germination Day 9- Top fed just a little to keep them moist and encourage root growth towards the water. I ensured the PH is right at 5.98-6.02 range. 2/16/2024 - Germination Day 10- Top fed just a little to keep them moist and encourage root growth towards the water.
