Today is day 36. I had to tie up some branch’s this morning. The colas have been slowly leaning in every direction, and I wanted to get them back standing straight in the light.i will flush her for a few days seems last batch of nutes burned her a little. I also believe there is to much nitrogen in her roots as some leaves have started to yellow up top. This is just my opinion from what I have been reading. I know Leaves will yellow during flowering, but from my understanding it is usually is the lower leaves. Any feed back would be appreciated.

Managed to get over 4 ounce per plant the smell is very strong and is covered in crystal, I’ve already harvested clones in the mean time and also got over 4 ounce per plant

Day 15 - The new week meant a change of water, nutrients and an adjustment of lights. Chong is looking like a short, but sturdy little seedling with broad fan leaves and big roots. Max is 10cm vs. Chong at 7cm and her leaves are perky and the stem is thick. They both look good for their own individual reasons. Looking at the roots specifically, Chong seems to be facing similar problems as Cheech in the Cookies Gelato grow - the aeration in the bucket appears to have “dead zones” because of the colour the roots and the manner in which they are sticking together. I’ve adjusted the air stone to be more central in the bucket and cleaned the air tubes because the nutrients stick on the tubes. Other than that, I’ve controlled the PH back down to 6.0 after the addition of the nutrients using the Milwaukee PH controller and decided not to adjust the height of the lights because there was only about 2cm growth this week. Also added the first wire to give Chong a bit of a better bend in her stem, gently starting off the process of LST. Day 20 and the ladies are getting closer to topping. Both are showing clear third nodes with the fourth node opening up. I am sure we will be topping during this next week of veg.

The SCROG net was installed on the last day of Week 6, I included a couple pics from that night, to compare with how the plant looked the next day, which was the first day of Week 7. My nerve damaged fingers caused me to be a little rougher with her while the net was going on than I like, but as you can see, she bounced back very quickly and was reaching for the light less than 24 hours after being mangled lol. I will continue to systematically defoliate the upper canopy every night or two for the next several weeks, and will completely strip most everything below the net. Every night or two I'll tuck any branches that need tucking, and will remove any fan leaves covering bud sites. She spread out pretty well in the net, and truth be known i probably could have gotten away with a 6 week veg after, plants are a decent size in the net with the stretch left to go. Flip happens at the end of Week 7 The manganese issue seems to be getting much better by the end of the week. Will keep my pH levels at 5.8 for the remainder of this grow, and any subsequent grows. I also devised a fan mount to save on space in the net. Instead of standing the fan, i simply cut a piece of 1x3 to length, drilled 2 holes in each end, large enough for zip ties to pass through. then I simply zip tied it to the tent poles, took the legs off the fan, and screwed the base to the board. I placed a piece of foam on top, as the screws were a shade long and I was afraid the small protruding tip would eventually puncture the tent. Works much better than expected. No movement in the mount at all.

I experimented with this as it was a free seed and I wanted to see what would happen if I removed any additional nodes and just kept focus on the man node/ cola. She weighed in a solid ounce dry maybe less give or take a few days of curing/ drying. Smoked really nice and packed a punch which kinda made me regret using this beautiful strain in my experiment as I would have loved more from her but at the same time she taught me a lot with regards to nutrient levels and how plants react depending on which way they're trained or defoliated which has really helped me with future grows so for that I will certainly be running this strain again! So only 2cm vertical growth this week..... But she got a lot bushier!

Looking great so far. She was thirsty as heck some days last week. Used close to 2 gallons of water a day. Smell is starting to come on. Veryyyy slight syrupy smell possibly but it’s too early to be sure, to be quite honest. Regardless, she’s starting to create her smell it seems. Gonna give her maybe five or six days and then do a lollipopping and considerable canopy clean up to make sure that the lower bud sites don’t get too deprived of light. Learned my lesson on my last grow with that. After that I’ll be pretty hands off the rest of the grow other than maybe some flower amendments.

Growing really nice so far but doesn't look it when the plant next to it is booming 😆 It does look good so far it likes the nutes so far just isn't getting tall which isn't an issue at all just have to check ppfd more with the different plant heights. Can't wait till it starts to really flower cuz the stem rub has a really nice smell. Goodluck and happy growing everyone 🌴

I did a slight defoliation of the skinniest branches, changed up the nutrients a bit, and dropped the light schedule to 12/12 today on 5/31 Canopy is clearly wall to wall, pretty level. May add a second support net during/after stretch. 5/1 noticed a bit of potassium deficiency in some older lower fans, so I added more trio bloom. 5/4 update: The plants are now 33in tall, and showing some N deficiency. My runoff is 1500ppm, which is about double my inflow, so I'm increasing fertigation events, and if that doesn't resolve the issue, I'll be lowing the ppm of my solution.

This week I just flushed the plant. I think I could have feed nutes the first day of this week, but I decided to flush from the first day, something to improve next time. I think I should have given the last flush one day before harvest instead of 2 days after, I felt that the coco was a bit too dry and the steam was not as moist as the previous harvest, this would have been great if I was doing 14 days dry, but I'm doing a 30 day dry, so this extra moisture would be great. The last 4 days the lights were turned off, as a consequence, the humidity went up the last 4 days, around 56-58%, I don't think I will do this next time. The total flower period was 72 days, according to Barney's farm it would take 60-65 days, I feel that those values are very accurate, my personal circumstances made me take a bit longer, but I barely saw any amber trichomes at harvest day. Que pasa familia, vamos con la cuarta semana de vida de estas Papaya Zoap F1 de Sweetseeds. Vamos al lío, me quede con 3 por espacio, siempre pongo alguna semilla de más por si no abriese alguna por no perder ese hueco del indoor. También se trasplantaron a su maceta definitiva, en este caso de 7 litros. Y también superaron el shock por el trasplante se recuperaron 100%. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/22 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

So far so good , these girls are coming alone better than I was expecting , I’m not sure were I went wrong but I fucked up early doors with these 2 girls :( , but they have surprisingly recovered well and seem to have produced plenty of budding sites that look like they are swelling and growing nicely :)

In week 10 I have some plants, which have grown taller than the rest (canopy is appr. 80 cm high now). In order to not have to raise my lamp, I rather correct their height by 'supercropping' them. Supercropping is a technique developed by SOMA from SOMA_seeds and works VERY WELL. Instead of topping your plants (=cutting off the main stem) it is better to take the main stem between your fingers (appr. 15-20 cm form the top) and brake the fibers inside and then bend it downwords. This way the stem will stay intact and heal itself and you dont loose the main buds growing on it later. In the video above I show and explain how I supercrop a plant. The plants are now getting more and more into flowering and therefore I switch the dimmer on my SANlight EVO4-120 plants to 100% now (see in video above). The BIO NOVA nutrients are increased as well a little bit, so the plants can build big buds.

She has grown quite a bit over this past week. I'm excited to clone her and continue another cycle with good genetics. The watering routine remains the same, with alternating days of fertilizer and aerated tea. I also let it dry back for about 2 days. It's very healthy, with very green leaves and they're getting wider every day. I'll soon do a toppinp. See tou.
