Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. Die neuen Blätter sehen sehr Gesund aus und insgesammt hat sich die Pflanze gut entwickelt. Oldschool Baby! 💚 Die Blattstruktur sieht wunderschön aus! Und dieses helle Grün auf den glänzenden Blättern, wirkt sehr elegant. Die Pflanzenstruktur ist wunderschön und echt Mal wieder empfehlenswert allen die in letzter Zeit die ganzen Hype Strains ballern. Die Seittriebe beginnen nun in die Breite zu gehen und kommen allmählich gut hervor. Die unteren Triebe wurden rausgeschnitten, damit die Pflanze nun ihr Potential nach oben entfalten kann. Starting week 8 droped day and night temps to 70 day 68 67 night started bring out colors in both strains! Runts is insane orange color solid fat nugs with the pie is purple and frosted almost to a white color. The smell of both strains is out of this world keeping the temps consistant is the key to having high terpiene content. Just the slightest touch makes both these girls so loud of fruit and cake batter or cookies from the runtz, too the overpowering lemon or manderin orange from the pie. Starting to get real close on the beauties gana push them to their limits!!!

02/03/2022 Bottom deposit has dropped 3 to 4 liters, again. pH was up to 6.2 and EC has dropped to 1.5 (I guess they consume well the nutrients, if it was only evaporation EC should rise). I decide to wait tomorrow to refill and adjust, pH will rise probably to 6.4. I have now some doubts on the remaining space to rise up the light and defoliation of the bottom of the plant. 28/02/2022 Back from WE, everything fine, good smell already. Bottom deposit dropped 4L, pH up to 6.3 Ec dropped to 1.35. I just lowered the pH to 5.8 and tomorrow I fill again the bottom tank and adjust nutrients to 1.7 again. 26/02/22 Tank filled. Adapt nutrients solution to 1.7 EC then wait 24h, bottom solution dropped to 1.5 EC, set pH to 5.8. Will leave for 2 days and not attended... so that would be surprise to see Monday night how pH and EC have evolved!

May 15: later start as a replacement for my failure on Durban Poison. Have wanted to fit this one in for a while and should be an easy and reliable grow. Top tip for germination stage is get a heating mat. My house is usually about 18 C but cannabis, tomatoes and pepper all need it warmer to start properly. So, get a heating mat. i usually keep it at about 26 C. Next germination tip is to expose the newly sprouted seed to ethylene gas just before it first reaches light. This is a huge tip for all growers. Seed ‘priming’ using ethylene gas in dark before seedling is exposed to light. https://scitechdaily.com/accidental-discovery-how-a-whiff-of-an-unusual-chemical-transforms-seedlings-into-super-plants/ Seed priming works. I tried it last year on peppers, tomatoes and cannabis. 😎 This is as big a tip as my standard “get a pH meter”. Seed priming takes minimal effort (use a ripe apple or banana) and it certainly seems to pay off big time as shown by my last two seasons. I’ll be doing this every single time now.

Ahora no se si es falta de potasio o la he torrado con nitrógeno y tengo que lavar raíces ,que opinais

Esta semana añadimos el otro led ts 1000 para seguir regulando (añadiendo más potencia lumínica) Agregamos paja,para una mejor retención de la humedad y no se seque primero la parte superficial de la tierra (uno de nuestros mayores errores al querer calcular si todo el cepellon está seco o sigue teniendo algo de humedad,por consecuencia,al volver a regar ,sigue con ese pequeño exceso de humedad) ,con el objetivo de conseguir una mejor vida en nuestro suelo ,con todos los nutrientes orgánicos y la clave,enzynabis,crearemos una buena simbiosis,y lo más importante,natural.

End of week 4 for the Orange Sherbet. She just got fed with Goldleaf feterlizer and cal-mag. So far no new changes. She keep growing slow, no signs of pre- flower. She's been a hand full. Leave are still getting the brown spots and dying even with cal-mag added to the feeding. Let's see how week 5 goes.

week intel: it was the time to prune the cover crops this week i chopped them - no problem all good stresses : just a little E.C stress around 1.4 once a week feeding: i feed them 3 times this week with this order : day 1 : i feed them heavy with silicate +base nutrients(calcium & micros + Bloom) about 707 ppm - 1.4 e.c to cause a little stress. day 3 : i feed them low dose of Feeding Booster around 275 ppm - 0.57 e.c to let them recover a little but not fully recover still a little stress will caused. day 5 : i feed them with normal dose of Top-Max + B-52 around 213 ppm - 0.42 e.c to let them recover the stresses to get ready for another stress next week. guide of the week : autos do so so so much better with 20 hours light per day pls dont run autos near femenized 1 of them must get sacrificed

Another week down and we are getting some color on the right plant. I'm not sure I've caught it on timelapse before but if you look close around the 10 second mark in the video you can start to see the purple appear on the leaves in the center a bit. It's subtle in the video but it really shows up in the pictures. I do like it when they turn colors! Aside from the color it was a fairly uneventful week. Buds are filling in a bit more, fun fun. The smell of a strong pineapple is in the air around the plant and especially when you touch it.

I have been having some sorr of issue and can Not figure out what is causing my leaves to yellow..? Heat stress? I am having issue with RH staying above 30. It not hot in the box but i can not make it humid in there no matter what i try. Shes still growing string and has a great root ball. She also is so compact that I can not lst her to get her side shoots out. She is thick like a pencil with at least 6 nodes at only 5 inches..?

Harvested Z1 (Zkittlez 1) at 95 days and Z2 (Zkittlez 2) at 90 days, At week 11 the trichomes were 90% milky with 50% orange pistils. They both received a minimum 2 full water flush, what I mean by that is a good 20% runoff to get all that built up out of the fabric pots. Note to self. 7 Gallon pots were unnecessary for these autos, 5 Gallons would be more than sufficient possibly even 3 Gallon. I believed the yield would be more considering how dense these buds are. I had forgotten Z2 had been massacred throughout this grow, unintentional topping as she was starting to flower and the carbon filter which fell on the plant damaging the top bud and other smaller bud sites. Taking these into consideration and after weighing Z1 I am very impressed by Fastbudz genetics especially under 13 weeks! I added a video of Z1 & Z2 dry weight to show transparency of my end results for this grow. I think better internodal spacing could allow for better bud development hence a better yield. Overall extremely pleased. Z1 = 97gr Z2= 61gr Density of Buds: 10/10 Resin: 9/10 Smell: 10/10 Dry Time and Cure for Smoke Report: 6 days (are now placed in Masson jars open lid for the next 2 days then 30 min x2/day) at Relative Humidity 60% // Temp: 72° F Smoke Report : High THC can be felt but not overpowering. Easily tell its heavier on the Indica side - will only know for sure once I try Zkittlez pheno 1. Curing will take some time. Generally I find 8 weeks minimum tends to give me a good quality product. I will be burping the mason jars twice a day for the next 2 weeks or so and add a 58% Bodeva pack. I prefer 58% vs 62% because I tend to use a Pax vaporizer. 00

Hey everyone :-) This week a lot has happened 🤗🍀. The 5 that are already in the 12/12 cycle explode day after day 😍😅. All others have been repotted, and will remain in the vegi phase for 1-2 weeks. Otherwise there is not much to say 😃. I wish you all a good start into the week, let it grow and stay healthy 🙏🏻🍀🌱

Onto the next week of flower. Going on a short trip away for 2 days from 17-19th, so the reservoirs will be full before we leave. Got back to more growth and had to raise the light up. Ladies looking great and getting big. We are a few days before lollipop so the tent is a bit humid but not bad. It will be easier to keep VPD at 1.2 after day 50 or so when some of that unneeded growth is out of there. Lollipop done on 21st and 22nd. Next on 23rd to finish up. Things are getting frosty with the CropSalt Bloom nutrients. Ladies didn't mind the haircut one bit Buds are starting to swell!

Apologies for the late update on the diary. Was out of town for a sec. But this is what she is currently looking like..Full!Frosty!!Thick!!Smelly!! All four ladies posses unique qualities..Each lady performed differently in regards to the training performed.. From a visual perspective..the lady who got topped is the most appealing..with very nuggety buds. The lady that received no training 🙌 👌 😌 she has this terps that's soo loud!! It's mind blowing...I rubbed some sugar leafs on my fingertips and dammn! My phones keypad is super sticky lol..
