Week 3 flowering for the Green Papaya from the super sativa seeds club. All looking good at the moment, the buds are showing a nice layer of snow on the buds, very sweet and fruity, we love the Green Papaya. We did a complete defoliation already and will do some maintenance here and there.

Englisch: Towards the end of week 4, the ladies were planted in their final 11 liter pots. They also tolerated it very well, especially because of the White Shark Mycorrhizae the plants had almost no stunt. I lollipopped all the plants on day 38 and will give them another week or so to recover before flowering. This is my first time with such aggressive lollipopping, so we'll see how they take it. Unfortunately I have to say that the PCG Genetics are not performing as well as I had hoped, whether it's my fault or the fact that the seeds have been in the fridge for over 5 years, I don't know. I hope that they will at least be convincing in terms of flavor, even if they are not the highest-yielding plants. Now I have to wait and keep my fingers crossed. :) Deutsch: Gegen Ende von Woche 4 wurden die Ladys in ihre finalen 11 Liter Töpfe gepflanzt. Haben es auch super vertragen, besonders durch die White Shark Mycorrhizae hatten die Pflanzen so gut wie keinen stunt. An Tag 38 habe ich alle Pflanzen gelollipopped und werde ihnen noch ca. 1 Woche Zeit geben, um sich zu erholen, bevor es in die Blüte geht. Ist mein erstes Mal mit so einem aggressiven Lillpopping, mal schauen wie sie es vertragen. Leider muss ich sagen, dass die PCG Genetics nicht so performen wie erhofft, sei es mein Verschulden, oder die Tatsache, dass die Samen über 5 Jahre im Kühlschrank lagen, ich weiß es nicht. Ich hoffe, dass sie zumindest geschmacklich überzeugen können, wenn es nicht die ertragreichsten Pflanzen werden. Jetzt heißt es abwarten und Daumendrücken. :)

Gorilla Cookies is at about 10 weeks now. A surprisingly small plant but still looks like it will be a couple of zip. Buds are quite frosty and I'm getting lots of autumn colours. Maybe another week see how she goes.

I love this plant. It's such a beautiful structure. Buds are fattening up really well. Seeds are also starting to be produced. Looks like the rest of the plant has become pollinated. Couldn't be happier.

It was a small auto but also it was grown in a 2 gallon, Smells delicious, always issues with heat end of summer but i think it still did its thang . Really lime green covered in trics smelling like berry's 👍 I Will grow again for sure & recommend 👌 thanks Seedsman 😊 !!

Yeah it’s not anything like I had planned, but like I said last week, there is always next year. I’m just giving her molasses here and there. I don’t know the pH or ppm of the feed water. It’s just molasses and my 8 pH well water. Then back to just plain water if I’m not feeding. There are obviously a lot of soil amendments that I’m leaning on. I suppose the picture of her trunk isn’t that impressive because it lacks a reference of scale. But those are some big roots on the top there.

Harvest day 70 since the time change to 12/12 hrs. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested. After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. Week 5 of flower 9/6/24 After neglecting to check runoff EC, the reading was 3 and PH 4.7, it's crazy that the plant did not show any signs of damage besides one branch. After flushing the growing medium with RO water + FloraKleen + H2O2 (PH 6.5), the runoff PH was still to high. The problem persisted after watering with 50% dilution nutrient solution and still getting low PH readings and high EC. The solution was to put something underneath the fabric pot, to create a gap for the runoff water to drain freely from the bottom part. Before, the fabric pot was sitting on the plate and the runoff was draining from 2 little holes in the middle to the drain compartment. Right after creating the gap and watering, all the readings were corrected. Fortunately, all salt build up got washed away, and the plant showed no more problems. :) On day 26 days of flower, the nutrient schedule was changed to fit the fifth week of flower. Note to self: check PH and EC every 3 waterings.

One of the dark devils is extremely stunted.... it's almost comical how small it is.... but she went through a lot .......it's a wonder she still alive .....some other people might have just thrown her away and started with some other seeds...... but it's kind of an experiment .....to see the extreme they're able to go through

Week 1 went off perfectly, purples babies reaching WEEK 2! 😍 PRESENTATION OF THE LADIES 😍 ------------------------------------------ The four plants are the same genetic. But they already have a different look, and I would introduce them to you :) 1) The Ugly - She have terrible first leaves. But she isn't late compared to the other. So I still believe in my Ugly! 2) The fatties - 2 of them grew wide leaves. It's just about leaves shape for now. 3) The solar panel - This one grew less wide but longer leaves. Regarding the Ugly, I must say that for the 4 seeds, I had to manually remove the shell when they sprouted. They all had their shell on after sprouting, and I don't like that. Probably a bit old seeds? For now, they share the same needs, and seems all happy. But this might change. I may even not be abble to recognize them, except if I cheat on them by putting labels on their pots ^^ 💧 WATERING 💧 ------------------ Luckily, the weather is offering some rains, and I been abble to put the ladies out under the rain during day 7 and 8. Not that long, they still got watered on Day 8, some hours after the rain. With feeding for the first time! 🍗 FEEDING 🍗 ------------------ First feeding. Used Fish-mix at 0.8ml/L. I plan to have a second watering in the week, but without nutrients. That's why I written 0.4ml/L in diary settings. If you know me, you also know that I like Fish-mix, but that I'm also effraid of it ^^ As foliar later during veg, it's an awesome products, easy to see that plants love it. But it seems verry powerfull, and need to be used carefully when given to plant. My rule is to limit to 50% of recommended dose. For now. Anyway, Fishmix right after a rain must turn on every form of life in soil I believe 😀 Even life coming from rain. 🏡 GROWING CONDITIONS 🏡 ----------------------------------- Starting an indoor session on the end of summer seems a good choice for me: - Some rains that provide me better water - I can put the ladies out if verry sunny, to save electricity/money - Perfect temps in the grow room. My house is always windows open. ​The growroom lightup in the end of the afternoon, when the day get cooler - Plants will flowering indoor during winter. I need heat during winter, so thanks grow room :D And cold air mean verry dry air! So reaching low humidity on the end of flowering will be verry easy! Pests : Nothing to report for now. I'm expecting a visit of my good old friends the thrips in 2-3 weeks 😎 Grow tent & Light (XS2000 ViparSpectra) : Something I notice just now: I'm abble to close the grow tent without air-extraction. I never been abble to do that in the past. This light is waaaay more efficient, and produce way less heat, because I couldn't keep tent close with my previous Mars Hydro TSW2000.
