WEEKLY UPDATES:
9/20- 💥BOOM!💥 Week Six of flower is here and my girl's in high gear, stacking her flowers and pumping out trichomes!
Today I watered her with 1.5g de-chlorinated water with 5ml/g of Botanicare CalMag+ added, then ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉. I turned her pot and plucked a couple of yellow shade leaves...the basic daily maintenance.
9/22- I didn't water her yesterday as she looked great and was 'praying' hard. Today she was given 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉ which I gave her through her drip pan (bottom chuggin) and I also gave her pot a turn.
She continues to have a great deep green color that is beautifully contrasted by the snow white trichomes piling up on them! Her height has not really increased but she is extremely bushy with tight node spacing which will necessitate plucking some leaves to keep the light penetrating into her canopy.
9/24- We're getting close to wrapping up Week Five of flower in a couple of days and she'll be past the half-way point with the most exciting weeks yet to come!
I didn't water yesterday and today I went ahead and Top Dressed her with 2 tbsp/g Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4, 1 tbsp/g Dr. Earth Gold Premium 4-4-4, 1/2 cup Down To Earth Bio-Fish, 1/3 cup Down To Earth High Phosphorus Bat Guano and 2 cups of Worm Castings.
I watered in the Top Dress with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉ and let her enjoy her meal! 😜
9/26- After her heavy watering on the 24th I didn't water yesterday and when I checked her today at 'lights on' and she still had some weight to her pot and her leaves were praying hard so I held off on watering today and will hit her tomorrow with her usual 0.75g watering.

Weekly update for these 2. I started seeing some rust spots so I decided to add a little General Hydroponics Calimagic at 0.25tsp/gal to my feed. So far seems to stop. I also decided to start a very light dose of nutes General Hydroponics 3 part flora series at the same 0.25tsp/gal to every other feed to see how they'll respond. All in all Happy Growing.

Day 10F-17F
(Day 10F) Everything is looking on point. I’m going to soak in a gallon of lite compost tea diluted to 400ppms on each plant except for #5. I’m still a little worried I won’t make it through the stretch but at the same time I fear N toxicity just as much. I will give one more lite tea before the end of stretch, most likely at the end of this week.
(Day 12F) Ladies responded nicely to the tea except for BBB#1. It just isn’t looking as vigorous as it was last week. It’s the only one without an air hose so I guess it couldn’t hurt to grab one. The air hose does without a doubt prevent overwatering in soil and I’m surprised I don’t see more people using it. It’s cheap, effective and gives me similar results to growing in pure coco. I’m going to give one more light foliar spray of 3ml of calmag, 3ml of kelp and 2.5ml of insect frass.
(Day 14) Got the air hose hooked up to all 5 plants now.
I hate that I’ve been forced to defoliate so much in early flower and it is definitely reducing bud size. Last round my bbb’s had pistil clumps twice the size at this time and they were dealing with severe deficiencies. I’m hoping it’s just genetics or the fact they are larger plants.
(Day 15) I’m starting to see signs of N toxicity on the some of the new growth and overall growth on all plants except #1 has slowed. It was most likely caused by the foliar spray/tea combo. No more feeding anything for the next 12 days at least. Luckily it’s still pretty early in flower but I know that N tox can hit really hard after the stretch stops. I would be pretty upset if I vegged for 80 days only to get severe N tox in mid flower. Since it’s not breaking down in the soil, I should be fine. I’m going to defoliate some more of the large bottom fan leaves as they hold large reserves of extra nutes I don’t need. Hopefully these small defoliations aren’t stressing them at all. Next round I plan to do a big strip one week before flower, at transplant and a second big strip on day 21.
(Day 17) I think I was over-worrying about the seriousness of the N tox. I’ve seen it hit very hard in mid flower and can’t be too careful. It’s almost always caused by water soluble nitrogen so I’ll try to stay away from that unless I absolutely need it. My case does not look to alarming just yet. I noticed the stunting on #3 right after that last tea so I am going to stop giving the last liter of compost tea because of how unbalanced and separated at the bottom it is. It sure helped out the other 4 plants that didn’t get the granulars from the bottom of the bucket. I‘m planning to give a bloom tea around day 26 and a final top dress a few days later. #1 has now out stretched everything else in the tent. I honestly was not expecting that. If #3 didn’t get stunted this whole week I think it would be the taller/heavier plant.

OKAY SO I KEPT THEM IN MY DIY SETUP FOR A WEEK AND GAVE THEM THEIR FIRST SUNSHINE TODAY 04/28 NOW THEY ARE ON A 24HR LIGHT SCHEDUELE. SUNRISE IS 5:30AM AND SUNSET IS 6:45PM.
I SHIFT THEM OUTDOOR AT 2:00AM AND THEN GET THEM INDOORS AT AROUND 6:30PM UNDER CFL LIGHTS SO NO LIGHT TIME IS FROM 2:00AM TILL SUNRISE WILL KEEP THEM LIKE THIS THROUGH OUT THEIR VEGETATION.
ATM I HAVE'NT ADDED ANY NUTRIENTS OR SOIL. BUT I WILL BE ADDING LIQUID NUTRIENTS NPK 40:20:20 FOR VEGETATION IN THE NEXT WEEK.
I NOTICED A YELLOW DECOLOURATION ON THE EDGES OF THE COTYLEDONS OF ONE PLANT BUT SINCE IT WAS THE FIRST DAY OUTDOORS I THINK IT IS HEAT STROKE PLUS I HAD TO MAKE A MAKESHIFT DOME TO KEEP THE BIRDS AWAY (OUTDOOR PICTURE ATTACHED) TOMORROW I WILLSHIFT THEM IN A GLASS MADE GREENHOUSE WITH VENTILATION SO WON'T BE NEEDING THE DOMES.

The main purpose of chlorophyll is to capture photons of energy. When growth is no longer a priority for a plant in nature, it will naturally sink its "no longer needed" nitrogen and switch pigments to carotene and anthocyanin, which are better-suited pigments for environmental protection rather than capturing photons (growth). This is because of all nutrients used by a plant, nitrogen in its nitrate form is highly stable and required for the rigours of electron capture, ammoniacal nitrogen readily evaporates into the air during cure/dry. The ripening stage is no longer about growth, but the main priority is protecting trichomes and opening up the oxidative capacity of the plant so it can focus 100% of filling those trichomes. Nitrogen in its elemental nitrate form is no longer required during ripening to the same degree as it was; the vast majority of growth is over. Understanding when to shift a plant's focus from rapid growth to maturation is the key to maximizing the trichome quality and terpene profile of the final product. That is the single most important decision you will make during a grow in terms of dictating smoothness, taste, and smell, I have found from my limited years of dedicated and driven study into the matter.
Synthetic nutrients maintain a near full nitrate ratio comparable to ammoniacal nitrogen, whereas organic nutrients maintain a supply of ammoniacal and convert only to nitrate what is needed. This is far more beneficial for organic growers when it comes to smoke smoothness, as the higher levels of ammoniacal nitrogen are far easier to dispose/convert than nitrates come harvest, cure/dry with far more efficient margins held within leaf/bud when it comes to conversion to aminos. A good dry and cure can go a long way to a quality smooth smoke, but without a proper senescence sequence or triggered autophagic sink of nitrogen, then you will be asking far more than can be expected from a dry/cure. It's one thing to sink the last 5-10% and convert the last drips to amino acids during the dry and cure, but leaving the plant fully charged with nitrogen in the form of nitrate is simply not going to taste good, no matter how much smoke you blow up your own ass or how long you have been growing. Means nothing. Smoke quality relies on pre-harvest physiology, not just the dry and cure! The dry and cure cannot fix poor pre-harvest metabolic states. A high-quality, smooth smoke requires correct signalling before harvest. While a proper dry and cure can gently soften the edges and convert the last 5-10% of sugars into amino acids, it fundamentally cannot perform magic on a fully fertilised plant. You cannot oxidise stable nitrates (+5 charge) into a smoother state during drying. Ultimately, accept it's going to be a heavy smoke and be grateful, onwards upwards!
The way in which ammoniacal nitrogen reacts to carbon sugars is critical in how it acts during oxidation and is responsible for oxidizing leftover sugars that can make the buds smoke harshly. Limited ammoniacal equals limited oxidation of excess carbons held within tissues. Just so you know, it's not an anecdotal rule that's unresolved and unsubstantiated. It's called the Maillard reaction. Signal triggers and stressors. Normally, you can only use 10-30% ammoniacal nitrogen, but as harvest closes, it is beneficial to increase this ratio 50% of ammoniacal as it assists in steering the plant towards maturation. Rather than running 50% ammoniacal nitrogen continuously until harvest, use it in short, targeted flushes/additions (e.g., 7 days) to slow internode elongation and hasten maturity. Use alongside forced larger "dry backs" (allowing the root zone to dry out significantly between watering events). Raising the Electrical Conductivity EC of the medium to create mild osmotic stress. Widening the day-to-night temperature difference and increasing the vapour pressure deficit VPD.
How would you like your cola's sir? Arm length, please, no gaps with trichomes as thick as snow.

So clones are hopefully nearly ready to form roots to allow me to put into their final pots! The main I put into the garden has started thriving, I knew she would as the soil she was in is very dense and holds water for longer of which I hate so once it got to root out it started to grow immediately stronger and bigger even after the whole trim down!

Clones are ready to become monsters, roots are exploring the fabric pots, while tops are growing vertically and creating new nodes everyday. I think it's almost time to trigger the flip, I'm limited with heights and these babies will probably stretch a lot. One more veg week and we'll jump into the flowering stage!

Lots and lots of flowers. 😍 They are smelling really awesome. The buds are getting extremely sticky and its only day 53 sohey have plenty of time too swell up. I know my light set up isn't optimal but these girls don't seem to mind much. My yield might suffer slightly but the girls are happy and that's what matters most.
Let me tell you guys a secret....
I have tried Ocean Forest and Happy Frog and...
Fox Farm Strawberry Fields Potting Soil is the bomb for Autoflowers. This is just my first time using it so more research is needed but wow this stuff seems to grow um massive.

Die Blue Dream zieht eine eher länglichere Blüteform entlang der Internioden.
Die Blätter färben sich wie angenommen in ein schönes Purple/Blue, was ihrem Namen nun alle Ehre gebührt.
Die Trichome haben stark zugelegt und dass Aroma hat sich definitiv von sumpfig/skunkig hin zu einem leicht fruchtig und doch scharf aromatisch und eher Erdig hin entwickelt.
Ich denke der Ertrag hält sich eher in Grenzen und dennoch ist die Pflanze ein absoluter Hingucker und zieht einen in den Bann. 🍵🌎🍇💚

Da die Ladys echt viel Biomasse hatten, hab ich das Netz rausgenommen, um alle Ladys nochmal zu defolieren.
Das Wachstum der Hawaian Rainbows und auch das Kospenwachstum gefällt mir sehr. Bin schon jetzt ein richtiger Fan von dieser Genetik. Es sieht wunderschön aus wie frosty sie wird.

This week Went very uneventful. Reduced the fertilizer down to 600ppm and flushed twice on Wednesday and Thursday, on Wednesday I still had 100ppm in the tank after the second flush it went down to 0. Kept her in darkness until Friday night and then started chopping her down.

Hy guys ! Hope you all are doing well ! I am very happy finishing this week 9. The ladies are doing their way. I don't know yet if there still remain 3 or 4 weeks, it will depend. I keep in mind that I will feed them with clear water the last 2 weeks but it is not the case yet. Let's check at the end of next week ( week 10)

So maybe a little early but i had multi reasons.. shes dank! smell is amazeballs! and quality is up there doing an auto cure (bucket + timer air pump) the smell is very creamy.. cant wait to press some!

Day 33 she’s beautiful and flowering and wonderful. I’m really excited for how she’s turning out. I used recycled dirt for the first time ever because they were my last cycle for summer break. But she’s impressing me like always none the less. can’t not wait for her!

Estoy satisfecho porque la planta está sana y creciendo bien pero la conclusión es que con tres o cuatro plantas y poda apical se reduce mucho el tiempo de vegetación. En cuanto a riego está pidiendo mucha agua y creciendo a gusto. Espero la semana que viene pasarla a floración. Hice una muy ligera defoliación y un canal para que el agua no se escape por los agujeros de la maceta al regar.

🇩🇪 Cherry Limeade - Wochenkommentar
Die Cherry Limeade hat sich in ihrer ersten Woche nach der Umstellung auf 12/12 hervorragend entwickelt 🌱. Sie hat offenbar genau auf diese Bedingungen gewartet und ist förmlich explodiert 🚀. Mittlerweile füllt sie schon einen großen Teil meines 60er Zeltes aus und entwickelt eine richtig schöne, gleichmäßige Struktur 💚.
Auch diese Woche war ich beruflich wieder vier Tage unterwegs. Das Blumat-System hat während meiner Abwesenheit die Bodenfeuchtigkeit bei etwa 50 mbar stabil gehalten 💧. Der Pflanze scheinen diese Bedingungen ausgesprochen gut zu gefallen, denn trotz meiner Abwesenheit hat sie ordentlich an Größe und Masse zugelegt 🌿.
Nächste Woche bin ich wieder häufiger zu Hause und werde deshalb täglich die Triebe unter das SCROG-Netz flechten 🕸️. Im Moment ist die Pflanze durch das Training auf etwa 32 cm Höhe heruntergebunden. Der Stretch läuft bisher genau so, wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe, und ich vermute, dass er nächste Woche erst richtig loslegen wird 📈.
Ich bin aktuell wirklich sehr zufrieden mit der Entwicklung. Die Pflanze sieht rundum gesund aus und ich kann keinerlei Mängel erkennen 💚. Auch die Reaktion auf die Umstellung auf 12/12 gefällt mir ausgesprochen gut.
Seit heute habe ich den Luftbefeuchter aus dem Raum genommen und den VPD auf 1,1 kPa angehoben 💨. Gleichzeitig versuche ich jetzt, das Blumat-System langsam auf etwa 120 mbar einzustellen. Vor meiner Abwesenheit wollte ich allerdings bewusst nichts mehr am System verändern – ich wollte nicht kurz vor einer viertägigen Dienstreise an einem perfekt funktionierenden Setup herumschrauben 😅.
Gestern habe ich außerdem den Flower Komposttee von Almicanna angesetzt 🌸. Nach 24 Stunden Brauzeit habe ich noch etwas Melasse hinzugegeben und lasse ihn jetzt weitere 24 Stunden brauen 🫧. Morgen bekommt die Cherry Limeade dann ihre erste Portion Flower-Komposttee in dieser Phase 🌱.
Insgesamt könnte ich mit dem Start in die Blüte kaum zufriedener sein. Jetzt heißt es weiter flechten, den Stretch kontrollieren und die Pflanze ihr enormes Wachstumspotenzial ausspielen lassen 🚀.

🇬🇧 GrowDiaries – Weekly Update
The Cherry Limeade has developed exceptionally well during her first week after switching to 12/12 🌱. She seems to have been waiting for exactly these conditions and has absolutely exploded in growth 🚀. She is already filling a large part of my 60 cm tent and is developing a really nice, even structure 💚.
Once again, I was away on a four-day business trip this week. During my absence, the Blumat system kept the soil moisture stable at around 50 mbar 💧. The plant obviously likes these conditions very much, because despite me being away, she put on a lot of growth and mass 🌿.
Next week I’ll be home much more often, so I’ll be able to tuck the shoots under the SCROG net every day 🕸️. At the moment, I have trained the plant down to around 32 cm in height. The stretch is progressing exactly as I hoped, and I suspect that it will really start taking off next week 📈.
I’m extremely happy with the development so far. The plant looks completely healthy and I can’t see any signs of deficiencies whatsoever 💚. Her response to the switch to 12/12 has been excellent.
As of today, I’ve removed the humidifier from the room and increased the VPD to 1.1 kPa 💨. At the same time, I’m now trying to gradually dial the Blumat system in to around 120 mbar. However, I deliberately didn’t change anything before last week’s trip—I didn’t want to mess with a perfectly functioning setup right before being away for four days 😅.
Yesterday I also started an Almicanna Flower Compost Tea 🌸. After 24 hours of brewing, I added some molasses and am now letting it brew for another 24 hours 🫧. The Cherry Limeade will get her first serving of Flower Compost Tea for this phase tomorrow 🌱.
Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the start of flowering. Now it’s all about keeping up with the daily tucking, managing the stretch, and letting this plant make the most of her incredible growth potential 🚀.

Been a bit disappointed in these so far I think it’s user error instead of the seeds/plants I think I fed them with shogun start for too long and changed their pot size too early. But I’ve got to say they smell unreal and if the yield isn’t as good as it could be I’ll learn for next time

To have a visual size of the plants take into consideration that the SCROG net it's fixed 24 cm abobe the top part of the soil.
Remarking what i've told last week, i must say the SCROG is not a true SCROG, as some colas begin below others, and also colas are of different heights among all plants. Anyway i'm very happy on how everything is going. And insisting again, I have very very few experience growing cannabis, this is my 3rd grow, 2nd indoor, and first time with photo-period at indoors, and of course is the first time too i'm trying to apply growing technics on a serious way. I really don't know if i'm doing things right or wrong.

Para tener una idea más o menos certera del tamaño de las partes de las plantas, tened en cuenta que la red está fija a 24 cm de la parte superior de la tierra de los tiestos.
Remarcando lo que dije durante la última semana, he de decir que el SCROG no es un SCROG real, ya que las colas no empiezan desde la misma altura ni son de la misma altura, ni las plantas son de la misma altura. Pero yo estoy muy contento con como va la cosa, vuelvo a insistir que es mi primera vez con foto-dependientes indoor, mi segundo armario indoor y el tercer cultivo de mi vida, y por supuesto la primera vez que aplico o intento aplicar las técnicas de cultivo. Lo estoy intentando realizar bien y de manera eficaz, pero realmente no se si lo estoy haciendo bien o mal, yo simplemente me lio y veo como responden las plantas.
