I am aiming for a well structured green screen. After topping they have started a scary growth, I hope for the 6 week of vegetative they are nice big and compact to generate big bright buds. Good luck growes🍁

Buds starting to form!!!! Day 2 of week 8 4/3/25 UPDATE: Flushed with Fox farm sledgehammer ph’d at 6.8 Soils were low at 5.8 4/5/25 update: fed with nutes 4/7/25: watered with plain water ph’d at 6.5 4/8/25: did a slight heavy defoliation to get ready for week 9!

Week three these ladies only stretched about 1'. Got to see some nice bud development and did alot of plant training. Canopy is filling out nice, no issues thus far.

To be honest, she's a bit slow growing but I think that's my fault; haven't really given her any nutes as I am totally distracted by Aimee (my other grow). Anyway, gonna LST her this coming week and start with the nutes feeding.

One of my best grows to date, super happy with how it came out... A Gorilla Glue heavy strain with a background notes of Oreoz. Deep Chocolate Diesel. I'm in love with it. Gonna make sum tasty tasty rosin. Would be 10/10 if it didn't herm

D36 - The first day in the first week of flower. The girls look healthy overall, although there are a couple of minor issues. A single leaf on the first girl has some discolored spots. I used a loupe to look closer at it but couldn't see any pests, so I'm not sure what the issue might be. On the other hand, the second girl has light-colored leaf tips on the topmost growth. It reminds me of light bleaching, but I checked with the meter, and it was only reading 400 PPFD, so I doubt that is the issue. There are a few light-colored tips on the first girl's top as well, but it is less pronounced than on the second girl. Minor issues for sure, but I'll keep my eyes on them. I did some additional LST to keep the girls squat and bushy, and I gave each 1.25-liters of water @ pH 6.2 with 25 ml EM-1. D37 - I decided to remove the spotty leaf, and took a look with the microscope but couldn't really see anything. D38 - More LST D40 - Even more LST D41 - Just pics today. I haven't spotted any more spotted leaves (Ha), and the light-colored tips haven't progressed. So far so good... D42 - We're at the end of the first week of flower, and all is well. I did minor defoliation on the lower branches, removing fan leaves that weren't getting any light, and continued with the LST to maintain a flat canopy. I finally turned on the Blumat system since the soil had dried out enough to be in a reasonable range. I need to monitor it for the next few days, ensuring it runs correctly. The pH of the water in the reservoir is 6.7. I also increased the amount of light the girls are getting to around 550-600 PPFD at the canopy level.

Buds keep growing! However, the two Mandarin Punch (Auto) buds grow slower than the two photoperiod plants. Watering as usual, see report in the pictures for more info. The tips of the leaves continue to slowly getting brown so I increased the dosage of the Biobloom. I'm now adding nutrient as advised by the datasheet compared to past weeks where the dosage was reduced. Let's see if it helps. I continued to remove some leaves here and there. Plants heights at the end of the week: Honey Melon Haze : 120cm (+0) O.G. Kush : 81cm (+6) Mandarin Punch #1 : 142cm (+2) Mandarin Punch #2 : 123cm (+0) I think the plants have reach their final heights :)

This baby is a beast right now I neglected how this week because of putting in extra hours at work. When I got home yesterday the pot was completely dry and the bottom leaves started to yellow . But I know she’ll bounce right back with some TLC .

🍋 Lemon Cherry Gelato — Week 7 from Seed Flower Week 3 | 12/12 from Seed Welcome back everyone — and welcome to anyone just joining the journey 👋 This is our Lemon Cherry Gelato update, currently Week 7 from seed, which we’re considering Flower Week 3 in our 12/12-from-seed room. There’s a lot to talk about this week, so let’s start by bringing everyone up to speed. ⸻ 🌱 Quick Recap — How We Got Here This run is part of a larger 8×8 mixed-genetics environment, where multiple cultivars share the same room, light strategy, and environment. The approach from day one has been: • low stress • observational • plant-led decisions • learning in real time No chasing perfection — just paying attention. The Lemon Cherry Gelato plants have been vigorous and very bushy since early on, with strong branching and dense foliage that required intervention as flower development began to accelerate. ⸻ ✂️ Defoliation — Why This Week, Why This Way This week we performed a fairly deep defoliation, similar to what was done on a few other girls in the room. Why? • The plants were extremely bushy • Light penetration was becoming limited • Airflow needed improvement • Bud sites were stacking fast We removed a significant amount of inner and overlapping foliage to: • allow photons to pass through the canopy • improve airflow • help the plant focus energy where it matters It may look aggressive in photos, but it was done intentionally and carefully. ⸻ 🌿 Plant Structure & Phenotypes You’ll notice two slightly different expressions in the photos: • First photos → Lemon Cherry Gelato • Second one → what we’re calling the “other” Cherry Gelato Both plants: • very bushy • beautifully structured • incredibly lush green One plant showed some funky leaf expressions, but nothing concerning — genetics being genetics. Both were defoliated deeply, but not excessively — just enough to give them room to breathe. They are not alone in the room, and in a shared environment, balance matters. ⸻ 🔥 Minor Observations • A few burned leaves from under-canopy lighting • Nothing serious • Easily managed • Already addressed You’ll spot them in some of the mini photos. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Feeding — Why We Changed Nothing This week, nothing was changed on purpose. Current parameters: • Day temperature: ~28 °C • Relative Humidity: ~65% • EC: 2.4 • pH: 6.5 • Plant height: ~40 cm to ~80 cm • Lighting: LED Many growers would say these temperatures are too high for flower — but context matters. Under LED lighting, leaf surface temperature runs ~2–4 °C cooler than ambient room temperature. Because of that, we focus on leaf VPD, not room VPD. The plant is what matters — not the number on the wall. We are not chasing numbers. We are paying attention to them. ⸻ 🌱 Plant Response The plants are telling us clearly that they’re happy: • deep, lush green foliage • no visible stress • strong internodal structure • uniform nutrient uptake across phenotypes When the plant is happy, stability beats adjustment.
