We went a bit crazy this week and got a third lamp. The lights are now at 25 and 30 cm from the tallest plant. According to Sanlight, it's optimal for our tent size and with CO2 added. Also, we added another CO2 bag hanging in the tent. According to the app Photone, which displays the PPFD of the lamps, the PPFD in our tent is around 500. Did some flushing with Cal mag, which we hope helped with the deficiencies seen on the leaves. Either or, our girls seem to be finally growing well and hydrated with the Autopots. New growth seems to be healthy. We had to get a dehumidifier because of the increasing humidity. Currently balancing between humidity and temperature because the winter is getting cold around here. We started doing LST this week. Some of the girls get the stick and some are getting tied up. They seem to be liking it 👹 We are hoping next weekend for a full and healthy canopy, so we can flip the flower.

Such Bittersweet Joy Added this week as ‘Flowering’ although technically should be harvested as I but I haven’t had a chance to weigh or anything. I will do that next week once trimmed etc. So finally cut them down on D89, it was a beautiful day outside and it just felt right. Although when it came to the deed itself I felt sadder than I thought I would for my girls and the time we had together. All 6 (I’m growing another 3 different strains but not included on this diary) are now hanging to dry in the tent. Temp -18 C; Humidity-60% seems to be holding steady with no tinkering thankfully. After the 3 days they have all dried noticeably, perhaps 4/5 more before trimming / curing. I’ve had quite a close look at most of the harvest and as far as this noob can tell, there doesn’t seem to be any issues with mould / bud rot. Fingers remain crossed. I did have one very profound moment this week... It happened as I was surveying the harvest hanging up for the first time. I could feel my mindset change suddenly from the constant paranoia over their health and overcoming my impatience to “I actually have a crap load of weed”. It was beautiful beautiful moment... Day 14: This week I'm increasing the humidity inside the tent with a wet towel and containers with water. I also removed the half bottles that were over the plants to generate extra humidity, because they got burned because of that, as you can see in the leaves, there are some brown snipes. Day 15: I added a towel and containers with water inside the tent to increase humidity, I managed to bring it up to 67% in some parts of the day. Day 16: I'm convinced Mario has thrips. I will add Potasium Soap in a couple days to kill any thrips possibility, and also add a moistmeter in the soil to know exactly if I'm overwatering or not. Day 18: Started with the feeding. Rizothonic + Vega at 25% of the recommended dosage. Added just 12ml of water on each plant. I don't want to overwater. Also added a new fan to the setup. Day 19: Added Potasium soap to the leaves during the dark hours. They look better already. Day 20: Added water + Solution of water with 25% nutrients I already created on day 18. I'm going reeeally slow with nutrients. D21: Forgot to make photos. Sprayed potasium soap solution at 2% over the plants, to avoid any pests.

7.8.26 These ladies have grown beyond my expectations. Not sure if it is genetics or the dialled in approach to VPD, perhaps both. My other grows have produced smaller plants in the past as I have never had to move light up higher than normal but these girls are flying up. I am curious as to how tall they will get without using a scrog net. I am pretty sure I can accommodate them till harvest but I have installed a net just in case. Smell much stronger than past grows at this stage too. I started these from seed while I finished a photoperiod grow so they spent first week or so on 12/12 light schedule. After harvest I ramped light up to 20/4. In doing this I may have misjudged how old they are. Diary says 5 weeks but they look more like 7 weeks to me. No worries though, as they seem to be thriving. Aiming for a VPD of 1.2 to 1.3 for coming weeks. PPFD at around 650 to 700 across canopy. Had to defoliate large leaves and tried a lollipop for first time to even out humidity and temp. Lots occurring in a small space. Having checked the info on OSS website Melon Mosh is a fast cycle of 60 to 65 days which would account for quick growth.

Jungle is growing on top of my washing machine! On the last day of week 6 I lowered lights to 35cm from canopy, this week I’m going to monitor that number and adjust as necessary because the plant is still in stretching + bud setting phase. I’m feeding with high N+mag and I’ll continue until growth slows down, than I’ll switch to megacrop 2parts. I expect that to happen end of this week, 10 days max. Day 42 - changed the fan Day 44 - finally installed the blumat auto irrigation system. It wasn’t that easy since branches are really near the substrate but at least I had the carrot already placed so I was able to do it. High frequency fertigation on coco is a must, you can’t take advantage on coco great qualities watering 1 or 2 times a day. My system has 5 drippers placed in a Pac-Man shape, more or less. Day 45 - This is an important day since it marks the halfway point of this crop, based on my previous results. Coincidentally I’ve also spotted few small trichomes on a leaf, I guess the plant is now ready to build up mass and flavors. I did a minor defoliation to open up the inner canopy and to get rid of some plant’s nitrogen reserve. I prepared 20L of my bloom solution and mixed that with the veg solution in the reservoir. For a week I’m going to use this transitional feeding. Lots of sulfur, seems to be on a volcano 🤣 Day 46 - spotted a minor P deficiency. There is probably too much calcium in my solution that is antagonizing P absorption. I mixed another batch, this is the ppm breakdown N 100 P 100 K 280 Mg 85 Ca 150 Before I had P 40 and Ca ~190, my tap water has 80ppm of Ca that is already counted it. I’ll keep this value for a couple of weeks than I’ll lower everything except K. (Edit from the future - K is too high) Day 47 - plant looks happy and bigger, it drunk 3+ liters yesterday. There is no need for humidifier anymore so I’m getting rid of it. Temperature is 30-32C with 50-60% humidity. Day 48 - buds are swelling, some branches are already showing the spiral structure. Plant drunk 5 liters yesterday, impressive.

Nutrient Management: While we planned to introduce a mild nutrient solution this week, we've decided to postpone it until the following week. This delay aligns with our cautious approach to ensure optimal conditions for the seedlings before initiating nutrient supplementation. Watering Schedule: The seedlings were watered with RO water enriched with Orca and Rhizotonic, using a spray bottle. This gentle watering approach ensures they receive the necessary moisture without over-saturation. Light Settings: The light intensity has been adjusted to approximately 25-30%, providing an estimated 180 PPFD. This careful adjustment aligns with the increasing growth demands during this phase. Tent Controller Effectiveness: The Tent X Controller, although not yet in the same tent as our Epic Buzz plants, has proven effective in maintaining optimal environmental conditions in the unoccupied tent. Durch Scrog Netz sollte nun eigentlich keine Anpassung mehr notwendig sein 22.10.25 (Tag 45): - AuqaPot ist leer - Nach BioTabs Schema gedüngt: 1g Bactrex, 20ml Orgatrex in 1L Wasser - ca. 500 ml in AquaPot geleert - Installation WiFi im Grow Raum. Ab jetzt Nutzung meines Temperatur und Hydrometers das die Daten aufzeichnet, Alarme bei Unter-/Überschreitung Temperatur/Luftfeuchtigkeit erlaubt. 23.10.25 (Tag 46): - 18:33: AquaPot ist leer, Rest der Düngelösung in AquaPot geleert - Sensor des Spider Heizlüfters und Temperatur/Hydro Messgerät auf Höhe Pflanze installiert - Spider Heizlüfter erneut konfiguriert - Bedienung ist recht umständlich, habe jetzt im Handbuch erneut nachgelesen. Man muss wenn man den Tag/Nachtmodus aktiviert das Setting 3 Sekunden stehen lassen um es zu aktivieren. Nun sieht man gut Anhang des Temperatur Messgeräts das die Temperatur wie gewünscht gehalten wird. Tagsüber 24 Grad, Nachts 19 Grad. Ist nun auch notwendig, da es nur noch ca. 15 Grad im Keller hat 24.10.25 (Tag 47) - 18:11 Düngelösung aufgebraucht, Wasserzulauf wieder aktiviert

The pictures don't do these buds justice. They are a brilliant purple and orange color. I have definitely outdone myself for my first grow ever. These buds have that perfect subtle smell and taste of blue salt water taffy. It's brilliant. I couldn't get it to reveg which is a disappointment but it will live on in my memory

Days 92 - 98 (from sprout) 8/23/24 - 8/29/24 Loompa's Headband x TK fading hard this week - checking trichome color through a 15x loupe, needs more time The Good Shit drinking a gallon of water a day but slowly backed off near end of week - my guess would be a 14-week flowering period for this genotype before harvest quality I'm pretty much watering daily a 1/4 gallon to Blue Nose Pit or less to keep mulch layer from drying out Sweet 16 S1 takes the win for most trichome coverage out of the garden, has the most up-front aroma out of the geno hunt PAR is all over the place on this one and totally messed up, after this week I'll raise the light and focus on the appropriate PAR for canopy of The Good Shit Pest Management slipping too, fungus gnats are repopulating and it seems the ecosystem has encountered a serious imbalance of beneficials and predators that normally kept soil/mulch in-check Plan on short-term remedying this with a top-dress of remaining compost + em bokashi and a moderate drench of EM5 following with repeated treatments of enzymes (tweetmint) Long term solution may need a predator/beneficials kit and/or higher quality vermicompost after knocking them back with enzymes
