Week 8 flower| Buds swelling and ripening up

14/07 Auch in dieser Woche bekommt sie ein schönes LST. Die Triebe werden allmählich länger und die Blätter bekommen ein tiefes sattes Grün.

Terps are coming alive as she is taking on a delicious fruity smell. Still going very light on defoliation as I feel like the big fan leaves are still doing their job to boost photosynthesis and feed the buds. She is starting to turn purple already!!! I’m going to allow night temps to continue to drop below 10 degrees C at night, hoping for an amazing color show at harvest!

Starting week 3 flower i have defoliated most of the yellow leafs and the leafs that were blocking the light and also done some final LST to even out the canopy a bit more And trimmed away lower growth the humidity is slightly high because they just got fed aother than that everything seems to look good ☺️

7/16 some plants are showing yellowing in the leaves and one the plants has branches drooping. theyre flimsy as is. same plant is showing airy buds, almost no bud structure. maybe will pack on weight a little bit? probably not 7/18 could be a nitrogen issue. considering theyre autos, i shouldve dialed it back before flower 7/22 plants are still throwing out pistils

Runtz Punch is grow great, even with several issues. I neem oil treated her again yesterday. I did the whole area to be safe. It looked to help a lot the first time. Just it seems to always boost the nitrogen levels when I use it. I need to train her some to stop her from getting much taller too soon. Im in the 5th week of flower! Day 31 tbp. Lookin frosty and I'm loving the smells and looks of each strain

A Note From (BAM): "This week was a battle with the environment. The plants grew like crazy, but the controller tried to sabotage us every single night. I learned more about VPD, airflow, and the limits of automation than I ever wanted to. But by the end of the week, the plants were wider, the roots were thicker, and I was in control — not the controller." --- Day 8–9: LST & Light Upgrade The FIM sites had fully healed, so I started Low Stress Training (LST) — pinning branches outward with clips to create a flat canopy. I also added the second Sanlight EVO 4-120, angling both lights inward at 40 cm. The plants responded immediately with faster growth and wider leaves. --- Day 10–11: The Fan Controller Nightmare The AC Infinity Controller 69 Pro showed a fatal flaw: every night, when VPD fell below the trigger point, it sent an OFF command to the fan — even with Minimum Speed set to 1. The tent would spike to 80% humidity and 29°C. I tried everything: lower triggers, higher minimums, different modes. Nothing fixed it. The controller simply ignores the Minimum Speed setting when it decides to turn off. The workaround: I have filed a warranty claim with AC Infinity. In the meantime, I am running the fan on a fixed manual speed to ensure continuous airflow. --- Day 12–13: Nutrient Stability & Canopy Width PPM was drifting too low (440–480), so I learned to make a concentrate (2g A + 2g B in 1L RO water) for daily top-ups. This gave me precise control without full reservoir changes. Plant PPM pH Plant 1 509 5.91 Plant 2 519 5.94 Canopy width is now ~45 cm per plant, height 30–33 cm. We're almost ready to harvest. I delayed the process a bit because the trichomes weren't as ripe as I'd hoped. After flushing, I watered only with pure water, and the ppm is now 538. I plan to harvest soon, but I'll wait a few more days so the soil is thoroughly dry. 😍😍💪💪😎

'Not all those who wander are lost' What started out as an experiment, turned out to be an adventure of epic proportions. What hangs here behind me smells like the weed I knew in the 80's, skunky and full. But look at those buds. DAAAAANG.... These are the biggest buds Ive ever grown, I didn't know what darkness precisely did before.... now I know... My god after a few days they oooze cristal liquid from all its holes. They are greasy and sticky, full of weight and I think well hit the 300 grams per plant with this one, taking our total to 600 grams what would be 2 grams per watt used. If that's so, Ill never use another light again! Thank you Mars Hydro for letting us try it. And by god so should anyone wanting to up their growing game. I started germination of 4 Gelat.Og beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their home. Cant wait! Some background information on my experience with Gelat.Og. I've grown this one out several times and I'm just absolutely in love with these genetics. One of the best terp pallets I've came across. Extremely creamy and rich aroma with a kush kick... majestic! She packs amazing bud structure and is a real branchy hauler. She packs a pretty large stretch, about 200% on average. Plus she has a bit longer of a flower time for a indica dominant... in my experience about 11 weeks. She gets a strong demand for more phosphorus mid flower. A good spike with the pk booster and shes happy as Larry! Another Seedsman masterpiece right her! Amped to dive In to this grow.

Our Permanent Marker from Zamnesia has responded very well to the application of the techniques, it has started the flowering phase very well and is preparing to prepare our gifts. ** Remember that we are growing a plant worked with the techniques indicated and another left to grow without pruning to preserve its speed; in the previous/next diary you will find the other plant of the same variety.
