~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Our summer weather continues to be brutal with daytime high temperatures hitting over 90℉ everyday, and nighttime low temp's rarely going below 75℉ with super high nighttime RH in the 70-90% range. 7/28- I am continuing with my daily watering regime of 5-8g every afternoon after sunset, with the exception of days that we receive measurable rain. 7/30- The Papaya Sherbet photo is continuing her growth spurt and is at 6 1/2 feet tall now! She's got that wide node spacing reminiscent of Sativa's, and I'm just hoping that she doesn't wait too long to begin flowering which would run into our wet season when issues with fungus and mold become more of a concern. 8/1- The FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod is now 84 days since she first appeared, and she has really come a long way since. Hopefully in the next few weeks she will shift gears and begin to flower which will be a welcome sight to see! I'm gonna have to try this strain again as the pheno that I got was not 'The One'😞. It didn't display the really dark, desirable, coloration in the leaves and was EXTREMELY sensitive to nutrients and water amount! Hard as I could try I couldn't get her dialed in. She looks and smells amazing but she ended up much smaller than I expected and was not a big resin producer. Have to see how she smokes after a 4 week cure!😛 I did end up trying out a nug from a jar that was @ 58%RH. It was ROCK HARD, crystallized and smoked incredible! You can immediately feel it hit you right in the forehead, them moves through you with a tranquil relaxing stupor.

With these girls, I harvested 146 grams dry from 2 plants. What a fun journey it has been! The buds smell incredibly strong and are sticky as superglue. Here's to a fantastic harvest and more green adventures ahead! 🌿🎉

Graduated, and am off from work for a few weeks, so went overboard on photos. Plant is doing well, leaves are starting to turn yellow (strain trait). Can't wait for the harvest and being able legally gift my xmas ornaments to my cousins during our "cousins walk" at our family xmas party.

Okay so greedy finally decided to show me she’s a girl - I’m beyond chuffed ngl. She’s ready for the flip soon but I still have two others playing catch up so she’s gonna be stuck vegging for another couple weeks. I feel pretty lucky I don’t know wether these are just super bag seeds but I’ve had no issues with them considering they’re in my closet and I’ve been pretty much just doing everything by eye without the proper equipment. Happy days✌️

She looks awesome at the beginning of week 8. Queen Papaya II fills up my hole 60x60 tent and she is growing lovely buds... Let's see how this works out 😍I just cut some leaves and gave her some nurition (2ml one a week from each of the three).

Great smell and beautiful buds with black and purple leafs. Has a super gassy funk with a slight fruity pebble smell on the backend.

Hello fellow growers👋, 5th week for the Double Grape. 🍇🍇 She is still doing great after the topping, healthily branching from all sides. I have to adjust the wires every day (sometimes twice a day). She is growing fast. Can't wait to see her develop her colas and bud sites. Otherwise, nothing much to report, I am still sticking to the HESI feeding schedule. This week they have grown super, but unfortunately they are getting lighter. 3 days ago I added another 1 g per liter of GHSC Powder Feeding Bio Grow substrate, as they still remain a bit in the veggie. Hopefully it doesn't take too long to release the nutrients. Whatever the reason, that still not all trips are elemened 🤬. I've only seen some before, and treated directly with neem oil so that it finally has a rest ☺️.
