Day 128. It took me almost 48 hours with two short naps to sort all 8 girls. Result not bad, think easy will brake 1g/W, I have 720 setup, but one light is limping, so it's closer to 600. Think harvest will be in 900 area. It's 90 W per plant only and I think one girl will go above 150 easy ! I doubt I will post Tangies weight in statistics, don't want to screw that strain, she could be way way WAY bigger !!! Happy Growing !!!

Topped the plants today, waited for the 4th set/8th leaf node to come in. Will probably be a day or two before I give it more nutes. Feeding schedule and products in week 1

Okay, thank you so much @SmokingTiki for donating me his first price of the fast buds TikTok challenge. And thank you Heather from @Fast_Buds for the super fast coordination and shipping. You both rock and I really appreciate this – it's just amazing 💚 Will start Germination tomorrow. UPDATE April 29th: Put the seeds directly in substrate on April 26th, three days later they already put her heads out of earth. It was a sunny day and it's just perfect for little Guava. Welcome little girl! 💚

Rough weekend for the girls. They seem to be pretty happy overall but Ph fluctuation in reservoir and mad salt build up in coco. Ended up flushing on day 62 with.... 32 litres Total (8L each) 40ml white vinegar 75ml Enzymes Complete (cleaning agent) Day 65- plants EC runoff is back at a normal level. Feeding 1300EC. runoff is at about 900EC. Going to wait a few more days and monitor runoff before upping the nutes again. Purchased Drip Clean to help with salt build up. Great reviews so let's see how it does. Should have flushed weeks ago. Oh well.

Paz!

Ok so getting a bit concerned. I'm trying to keep nutrients low, but am noticing spotting on some other leaves and some of the white pistils lower down are growing in brown instead of white. Spotting on at least one of the plants has gotten to the degree I've trimmed it a bit and the lower leaves look fine. Please let me know if you see an issue with any of the above pictures / advice. - Update: Ok looks like I have a bit of light burn and possibly some nutrient issues as well. Have been adding more cal mag. Trying to water a bit less than was as may not have been letting the coco dry out enough. And I have moved my LED lights as far up as is possible currently to try and see how it goes, not sure If I've mucked this up or will still get a decent harvest. Any thoughts and suggestions are welcome. Edited: 28/09/18 Got a nice mini led microscope to check out my affected leaves. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00LAX52IQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Glad to report that I have not seen a single mite on any of my checks between 60 to 120 magnification. Even split open a stem where I had to remove a leaf earlier and had a look inside just to be sure. There are lots of little circle type globs on the leaves, but I take it this is trichomes and not eggs.

🌸 Week 1 Flower – Super Silver Haze (Zamnesia Seeds) Grower: Dog Doctor Strain: Super Silver Haze Phenotypes: SSH #1 & SSH #2 Tent: 8x8 Shared Grow Space Lighting: Future Of Grow – Black Series 600W LED Control System: TrolMaster Hydro-X Watering: Hand Watering Pot Size: 11L Fabric Pots Medium: Super Soil with Aptus Holland amendments CO₂: ~700 ppm Day Temp: 31°C Night Temp: 25°C Humidity: 50% Soil Temp: 25°C Water pH: 6.1 Water EC: 0.6 Runoff EC: ~2.0 Water Temp: 18.5°C PPFD: 760–780 µmol/m²/s ⸻ 🌿 Early Flower Surprise Week 1 of flower… and I swear these girls are moving like they’re already in week 2. Pistils are out, floral sites are forming, and the stretch is starting with elegance. It’s possible they slipped into pre-flower during late veg without me catching it, they were so stable, compact, and lush that I might have missed the subtle signals. Either way, they’ve entered bloom with full confidence. Both phenos are incredibly similar in structure and size, making them a joy to manage. They’re compact yet big, stacking nodes tightly while still filling space. The leaf color is deep and uniform, the formation is textbook Haze, and the inner node spacing is perfectly balanced for light penetration. ⸻ 💧 Feed & Water Adjustments We’ve tweaked the recipe this week, retiring Aptus Start Booster and introducing Aptus Top Booster at 0.25 ml/L. Current Feed (per L): • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus Top Booster – 0.25 ml The soil is already enriched with slow-release Aptus pellets, which explains why EC in solution is lower (0.6) while the medium’s own EC is holding steady at ~2.0. They’re drinking well, 1.5–2 L per day — with irrigation happening around 25% dryness in the pots. ⸻ 🌡️ Environmental Conditions & Upcoming Changes The room is running hotter than ideal at 31°C daytime, 25°C night. RH is stable at 50%. CO₂ sits comfortably at ~700 ppm. A dedicated AC unit is on its way and should be installed next week, which will help dial temperatures closer to the sweet spot for flowering. Soil temperature is at 25°C, supporting strong root activity, while PPFD at the canopy sits between 760–780 µmol/m²/s depending on plant position. We monitor these numbers carefully to keep photosynthesis at optimal efficiency without stressing the plants. ⸻ ⚙️ Why We Measure Everything • PPFD: Ensures plants receive the right light intensity for maximum photosynthetic activity during each stage. Too low = underpowered; too high = light stress. • Soil Dryness: Prevents both overwatering and underwatering, protecting root health and microbial balance in living soil. • Soil EC: Tells us nutrient availability inside the medium, helping us adjust feed without guessing. • CO₂: Works in harmony with light intensity and temperature to push growth rates without causing metabolic stress. ⸻ 👑 Remembering the Queen Super Silver Haze isn’t just another cultivar, she’s an old school heavyweight, a cup-winning legend with a long legacy. Growing her feels like growing history. There’s nostalgia here for me, a personal connection to the magic this plant has delivered over decades. My hope is to see her express that classic SSH magic, the electric haze high, the silver sheen on the colas, and the unmistakable aroma that once ruled the cups. ⸻ 📸 Studio Shots & Natural Growth Of course, I couldn’t resist taking them to the studio this week. Under the lens, they shine, vibrant greens, symmetrical structures, healthy posture. No training yet, letting them express themselves naturally as they settle into flower. Next week, I expect to see stronger pistil development, initial stacking, and perhaps the first hints of stretch acceleration. ⸻ 🔮 What’s Next? • AC unit installation for tighter climate control • Continued monitoring of PPFD and EC • Watching for early resin development • Tracking stretch patterns for possible support netting These queens are just starting to show what they’re capable of. The road to the crown begins here. 🌿👑 💚 Dog Doctor 📣 Thank you for following the Super Silver Haze journey! Week 4 was a very active training week for Apple Gelato. The plant received two topping sessions combined with FIMing to significantly increase the number of main growth tips. In addition, Low Stress Training (LST) was applied to spread the branches horizontally and create an even, open canopy. Despite the intensive training, the plant handled everything extremely well. Recovery was fast, with no visible stress, drooping, or slowed growth. New shoots started developing quickly at all topped and FIMed nodes, showing strong vigor and good genetic stability. LST helped expose lower sites to direct light, improving airflow and setting the foundation for a symmetrical structure. Leaf color remains healthy green, internodal spacing is tight, and overall growth is compact and controlled. This combination of 2× topping + FIMing + LST has clearly prepared the plant for a bushy structure with multiple strong colas going into the next vegetative weeks.

Week 6 / flowering Everything is looking good so far. The plants are stacking weight nicely and there are no major nutrient lockout issues at the moment. The next couple of weeks will be all about keeping things balanced and not pushing them too hard before flush week. There was a minor heat-stress burn during a temperature spike, but it’s under control now. The purple colors from the genetics are starting to come through on some phenos, which is great to see. The legendary Runtz is getting louder by the day. Every time I unzip the tent it’s like stepping into a fruit-candy store… except this one hits you in the face. It’s so sweet and intense that I keep leaning in for “just one more sniff” until my nose (and stomach) basically tap out. Candy vibes turned up to max.Bud development is going great: they’re stacking, getting denser, and putting on size. They’re also not the classic “textbook” buds, the shape is pretty unique. A few tops look a bit foxtaily, but I’m calling genetics on this one, not stress, because she’s looking happier than ever and everything’s staying nicely in range.I’m pretty sure this is her final flowering week. Under the scope the trichomes are almost all cloudy, only a few still clear, and I’m starting to spot some amber, so yeah, the countdown is officially on.That’s all for now. Tips, thoughts, and “I’d do it differently” comments are always welcome. Happy growing everyone!

Didn't have someone to come water the plants. 5 days away. Plants dried right out. Defoliated both and fed and watered. We will see what happens. Plant one has mostly orange hairs. Plant two is on the whiter side. Buds are still filling in. I have definitely learned that I need to move on to a more automated system for my lifestyle. Gonna try to make the best of the next few weeks and watch the trichomes turn. Day 66-67 flushed soil with pH water
