Tenth Week / 11.07.24 - 17.07.24 Week 10 was similar to the previous one, with steady progress and a few adjustments. 🌿 The Cookies Gelatos started showing signs of nutrient deficiency, drawing nutrients from the leaves. To address this, I increased the nutrient dosage by 0.5ml for all except CalMag, which I increased to 0.75ml per liter. 🌱 The plants seem to be responding well to the adjustment, and the buds are slowly swelling, especially on Apollo F1. Everything’s progressing nicely! 🌼🚀

I flushed the 3 girls with approx. 30l each and of course stopped feeding them about 1 week ago. Therefore, as you can see in the pictures, the older leaves turn yellow. Most of trichomes are milky. After much thought, I’ve decided to flip the entire room to a 11/13 light cycle. This means it’s time to identify males and let the females show their true potential. Here’s the plan: • Why Flip Now? Despite their smaller size, flipping now allows the plants to reveal their sex while keeping the room’s progress synchronized. This way, I can focus on the keepers and remove the males efficiently. • Revegging the Favorites: By flipping and selecting now, I’ll be able to reveg any standout females later. For those unfamiliar, revegging is a technique where, after flowering, you revert the plant back to a vegetative state. This method preserves genetics you love and allows you to grow clones or expand the line further. 👉 Benefits of Flipping and Revegging: • Speeds up the identification process without needing clones first. • Lets you preserve special traits in the plants. • Adds flexibility in managing space and time. Day 35 is here. We are a week into flower and most the plants are just starting to hit that flowering stretch. I have been bending them down a little every couple days, but I need to focus on cleaning up some of the bottom branches so we can keep good air flow through the plants. Will work on that through this next week. I haven't done a water change, just been topping off the reservoir with fresh nutrients as they drink it up. Feeding half and half maxigro and maxibloom. Will cut out the maxigro in a couple weeks when I notice their stretch slowing down. I had a plant overflow this week because the drain line is getting full of roots. I noticed a couple roots have made their way into the reservoir already. I set a pump timer to 1 minute on and 20 minutes off so they can drain properly. I would like to make it through the grow without having to mess with the drains, but we will see what happens. I will make some modifications if needed. Other than that everything is running smooth and I hope we have some little pistils to show by next week. Thanks for stopping by ✌️

The BCM feminised has undergone her last major defoliation. She completely stopped growing as the leaves are continuing to fade and the stem is showing signs of decay. The bracts are swelling up also more pistols are turning a orange red, more try chromes developing as the BCM puts most of it’s energy into flower bud formation her weight has increased. She will receive water and molasses for the final two weeks.

These ladies continue to develop very nicely and lucky stopped stretching pretty much in the beginning of this week and the buds are forming super nicely. Since I also don’t observe a stretch in flower anymore, I decided to feed pk13/14 for the next week. It continues to surprise me how hungry these autos are, much hungrier than my glookies fro example. Unfortunately I realized that the plant on the very right of the box produces much smaller buds than the other two. I am pinning that on the fan right above her, so have pointed it slightly higher, but I guess the damage is done:(.

Almost finished. A few more weeks to go. Just bulking up now. They are smelling realllllly strong. I love the way they smell growing organically. Nothing else like it. No more feeding these girls just watering every few days until harvest. Might try the molasses trick if anyone has had experience with it let me know in the comments. Very variable weather, summer is at the end, temperature drops quickly, even 60 °F. I was out for 3 days, on my return I found the three girls who were starting to wither but they were promptly watered. No damage to report. The yellowing of the lower canopy has started. Acceptable weather forecast until 10 September. I bought 5 transparent PCV tarps to protect them extemporaneously from the rain. Very Indica bud structure, well formed, perfect filling. Plant is suffering now from mild rusty fungus infection probably attached by tomatoes. For now only 3-4 branches are affected and only fan leaves. In any case there's nothing to do at this stage and luckly my Special Kush is resilient and is growing very nice. Outdoors it happens. Expected harvest time September 4th week.

Mandarin Squeeze smells amazing if you love oranges. The girls grew great. One took dominance as I expected in the grow. I hope it tastes as good as it smells.
