So here’s Week 2 of the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Auto’s grow. All in all an easy week but there has been time spent reinforcing a couple of the seedlings because they are so top heavy. I check in on my seedlings at least once a day (oftentimes 2-3 times daily) just to make sure that all equipment is functioning well and temps are stable. Upon looking into the windows of the tent I discovered that the smallest seedling (the one that lost one of it’s cotyledon leaves) was tipped right over. I gently supported her with a homemade splint (a tent peg/pipe cleaner combo- pictured above) and she’s currently standing on her own again. She’s still smaller than the others but surviving, not thriving for now. I used some fresh additional soil to fill in any gaps and pack down around the bases of the other three plants’ stems. Speaking of stems/stalks- the three healthy seedlings have peeling/stretching stalks and are starting to push out their first sets of branches. Other than that, same routine as always- watering every fourth day at 1.4 litres per watering or 0.35 of a litre per plant per day. I will be increasing the water sometime over week three. That’s it for now. Mom’s Tip for Week #2- Don’t Over Water! (when growing in soil of course)… When learning to read your plant’s needs, water is a very important factor to consider. I often notice other growers with tiny seedlings sitting in completely saturated pots of soil. Or read that many other growers don’t believe in placing newly sprouted seedlings into their final containers/pots. Both issues being easily resolved by simply paying close attention to your plant’s body language, it’s grow environment and sticking to a schedule. Cannabis truly thrives and benefits from a wet to almost fully dry watering cycle. From my own personal experience with photosensitive strains grown outside in the summer to growing autoflowers indoors through the fall, winter and spring- all of my Cannabis seems to do best when watered every 4th day like clockwork! This schedule is somewhat subjective of course depending on the environment that you are growing in. Here in Canada, much of our year is cool to cold and the humidity is relatively low. Because of this my plants are not always able to take in moisture from the air through their stomas so they suck up more water from what’s readily available in their pots. In other environments (ex. tropical), you may be able to stretch out this cycle- watering every 5-7 days because your plants are pulling so much water directly from the humidity in the air. And how you water your plants matters too. When starting out with newly sprouted seedlings placed into their final containers- less is more. There is no need to completely soak all of the soil in a 5-7 gallon pot. Simply start with a small amount (0.5-1 litre) directing the water to the base of the plant, working your way outwards in a circular pattern. As you increase the amount of water, I try to work my water outwards- making my circle slightly bigger each time I water until eventually I am soaking the soil surface all the way out to the edges of the pot. This process is gradual, stretched over a period of 4-6 weeks. It will encourage the roots to reach for water and allow your plants the time needed to grow into a heavy dose of H2O. Finally, learning to read your plant’s body language will help you to understand when they need and don’t need water as well as food, more/less light, temperature changes, etc. Healthy, well watered plants are generally light green with leaves slightly turned up towards the light/sun. They will be growing/thickening every day and able to support their own weight even in a very breezy environment. Leaves are soft and supple, not dry and brittle and there are usually no marks or discolouration of any kind on the foliage throughout your grow. Water quality is important too but that’s any entirely different tutorial for another time. Bountiful harvests are very possible by simply tweaking your watering schedule to suit your plants’ ultimate needs.

Plants came back out of their 36 hours of darkness and were a little droopy, so I made the decision to put them outside for the first day of light. Unfortunately they suffered from wind burn so I brought them back to the tent. Foliar fed the plants daily at 400PPM.

Hello Growmies, Our journey with Epic Buzz by Anesia Seeds, which began with germination on the 20th of January, has quickly progressed to an exciting stage. Just three days into the seedling phase, which started on the 21st of January, the seedlings are already showing promising signs of vigorous growth and health. Each seedling, displaying a lush green hue, stands uniformly in both color and height, indicating a healthy and robust start. Their growth over the past three days has been remarkable, reaching heights between 5.5 and 6.5 cm. This growth spurt is a clear indication of their strong developmental potential. The transition to their next stage of growth was marked by a careful transplantation process. As soon as the first tap roots appeared at the bottom of the easy plugs, we moved them to 1-liter airpots. During this process, we treated the easy plugs with Great White, aiding in their root development. The airpots were prepared with Biobizz Light Mix, providing them with the necessary initial moisture. Since then, we've refrained from additional watering to let them settle into their new environment. Lighting has been a key focus in their care. We've set the light intensity to a gentle 15-20%, which translates to about 150 PPFD. This level ensures that they receive enough light for growth without being overwhelmed, which is crucial at their current seedling stage. In other exciting developments, the Tent X Controller has arrived. Although it's not yet in the same tent as our Epic Buzz seedlings, its presence is a significant addition to our setup. We've shared an unboxing video to showcase its features and setup process. The controller is now operational, tracking data efficiently. Its performance has been flawless, and any queries we've had have been promptly addressed by an incredibly responsive and helpful support team. As we look forward, our focus remains on the seedlings as they continue to establish themselves in their new environment. The Tent X Controller, set up in a different location for now, signifies an upgrade in our overall growing setup. We will continue to closely monitor their progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure they receive the best possible care. Day 8 of Flowering, this babies are stretching hard and starting to show white pistils and i couldn't be happier! Even if the soil is pre fertilized i just added 0,5ml of Biomagno FiorituraOM to help the plants start flowering, as @Mangodudu said EC was only 1,2 it shouldn't get them overfert. The structure il very nice and the plants are vigorous and always with praying leaves, i defoliated pretty hard and fixed every branch to a bamboo stick, so they don't have to carry the weight of the buds in the next weeks and focus all the energies in the bulking up the buds. I also just lowered the lights to get some light stress and help the plants stretch harder, and the response was amazing they just doubled the size in this first week of flower, I'm also very happy with this canna plus pro soil, it takes the water and drys very fast it think it's thanks to all the cocco in it.

Was up late last night trimming three small plants up to go into the box. Super fox tail structure, I fked with the light schedule a few times during flower by bringing them inside and taking them back outside to finish. So I think that's why they have that structure. Ended up being more bud than I thought tho so I'm not upset, trimming was just a pita.

Buds get thicker and thicker :) Added some CalMag from Canna Mono.

She looks extremely frosty and stink like good lemony shit it's crazy but she doesn't smell like the other phenotype I have of lemon pie,she smells very citric but very floral at the same time, very sweet, her sister smells just like moby dick. Can't wait to try this lady 😍

30/08/2025 - tenho vindo a regar alternadamente com água de garrafão e água da torneira que deixo descansar ao sol por 24h, acredito que esteja a ter um problema no EC da água mas não tenho medidor de EC. Vou comprar para a próxima run pois nesta já está muito tarde para mexer ou ajustar seja o que for. Mas de qualquer forma vou tentar esmiuçar com o que tenho para entender melhor o problema. Vai dar um fumo excelente, o cheiro está muito forte, formação de tricomas. Obrigado a toda a comunidade por me ajudar com as minhas questões. Ajudaram imenso. Estou a adorar a experiência de fazer este diário ! Obs: Com a ajuda da comunidade acabei por perceber que o problema pode ter origem em vários fatores, como dito em cima (sem medido de EC) palpito que seja o Ec da agua que tenho colocado, fiz um calculo e o Ec da agua e são cerca de 130-150uS/cm, o que por si só é muito aceitável. No entanto a composição da agua é: Ca2+ 1.5mg/L Na+ 25mg/L Cl- 19mg/L HCO3- 47.1mg/L Conclusão: Ainda teria de verificar o Ec do runoff dos vasos, mas sem medidor é-me totalmente impossível, deste modo as possíveis causas que encontrei seriam 2: o uso excessivo de chás aerados, pode ter aumentado demasiado a sacarose do solo e com isso a vida microbiana que por si só aumenta o Ec do solo, outro possível problema, que para mim será o mais provável, é a composição da agua que rego, tem uma quantidade de sódio relativamente alta (mais de 10 mg/l), sódio é um dos piores elementos em excesso no cultivo, não é um nutriente essencial para a planta (serve apenas em traços), compete com K, Ca e Mg nas raízes bloqueado a absorção, e acumula-se com facilidade no substrato pois não é consumido pela planta. Por ultimo, as quantidades de Ca e Mg são relativamente baixas o que pode criar um défice destes nutrientes com ainda mais facilidade nestas condições. Quando regado com este tipo de agua o ideal seria fazer um runoff em todas as regas de 10% (como um leve flush), para evitar acúmulos de sais no substrato, coisa que quase nunca fiz ao longo do cultivo. Vivendo e aprendendo :D MAIS UMA VEZ, OBRIGADO A COMUNIDADE GD.

Wow. She grew 26cm this week. Clearly likes her new 10 litre fabric pot. From what I've seen of the pots so far I like them. She's making loads of flower sites, also note the stem abuse I've administered this week 😂 I'm trying to stress the ol' girl out a bit. No idea if it working but its all data in the memory bank! 💪 EDIT: Light settings updated to reflect current tent lighting......

Buongiorno amici della CampaCavallo 💚💅🏻🔥😍 ... In questo week (8.3.23),il team di disinfestazione CampaCavallo si è dato da fare per salvare il salvabile dai maledetti spider mites 🕸️... Ringrazio molto @MiyaguyOKPolilla per i consigli BIO che mi ha dato, ma purtroppo non avendo a disposizione ne chiodi di garofano, ne bastoncini di cannella, mi sono dovuto arrangiare con la canna dell'acqua💦💦💦 Abbiamo preso ogni pianta, portata all esterno della grow box, e con un bel getto d acqua abbiamo letteralmente spruzzato energicamente le piccole... Tutto perché il merda di spider mites odia l acqua👍🏽 abbiamo anche rimosso le grandi foglie compromesse o troppo infestate.... Speriamo di non averle stressate troppo.... Ma é stato fatto tutto per il loro/nostro bene💚🙏🏼👍🏽 ... Abbiamo anche trattato la grow box con una miscela di acqua e candeggina per disinfettare come si deve🚑 Le foto mostrano il risultato.
