Got the Spider Farmer wicking system set up with a reservoir. Up until now I’ve been using purchased pure water since it came with a better starting pH than my tap. After running the numbers, the cost of hauling jugs didn’t make sense long term. I ended up grabbing an RV water inline filter for the garden hose, which strips out most of the chlorine and other contaminants I was worried about. Goal was mostly a stable water source because the girls are getting thirsty; I still prefer hand-watering to wet and activate the top dress. Access is only from one side of the 5×5, so as they bulk up I’m learning the back two are a chore to reach. The wicking pads help keep things even between rounds, but I’m still going in by hand to finish the job. Did a defoliation pass; airflow and light paths improved, but I may need to push it a bit further because I don’t want a lot of larf. Crazy how much plant material I pulled off but they seem fine. Light feels like the current yield limiter. The SF4000 is solid but a touch undersized for full 5×5 penetration, the lower canopy isn’t getting what I want. I’m eyeing a higher-wattage bar style light for better edge uniformity and deeper PAR at canopy. I’ve been testing edge light saturation with the SpiderF PPFD sensor at canopy height. Center readings are strong but the corners and long edges are clearly lacking. Smaller tent or smaller plants another option maybe. Im at 100% on my light and will be for the rest of the grow just raising it to keep distance. Plants look happy overall. The Durban Cookies is standing out, taller and more vigorous than the 10th Planets especially for being a week younger than the rest. I am guessing it will be harvested first just by stretch speed alone. The 10th Planets R1s all have a pretty even canopy going but showing stretch. Wicking system + hand-water combo is keeping the media right where I want it, and the top dress from last week is kicking in. Reminding everyone this is my first grow. Hoping for a pound dry, but I won’t be greedy. Keeping my expectations realistic! Thanks for following along.

As you can see, LST works well, the lower branches are much larger. The plant has a very massive stem and branches I expect very very massive flowers. I made a minor defoliation of large leaves. The rest I slide under the twigs every day so that they do not make a shadow. I have more plants Gorilla Zkytllez I see among them 3 phenotyps, one is low with a very coarse stem and branches. The second is tall with very large leaves. The third has a predominant sativa gene and thin leaves Due to a high wind that lasted 2 days and LST one of my Zkitllez broke in half and holds on about 20% of the stem. I was thinking about trying the method HST and I will remove the cracked part of the plant, but I did not have the heart to cut it off, so I decided to use the patch that I carry with me in the first aid kit if I cut myself. From two twigs and a patch I made a primitive splint. The next day I took an insulating tape with me into the forest and once again wrapped the splint for better strength. And as you can see, the plant lives and thrives :) Next, I want to show you the pest Leaf Minner, which makes tunnels in the leaves and then pupates on the underside of the leaf I tear off the leaf or crush the pest Next, I would like to show you a very useful beetle, a ladybug that eats, for example, aphids, in the photo you see a pupated ladybug larva, do not kill it !!!

🌸 Flowering Week 2 — PM Battle & Bloom Progress Week 2 of flower and the girls are stacking up beautifully 🌿🔥. The stretch continued strong — canopy looks full and healthy under the Spider Farmer G3000 💡. Bud sites are now clearly forming, and the structure is holding firm after earlier LST training. This week I continued powdery mildew treatment — used Hydrogen Peroxide 3% (H₂O₂) spray about 3 times since it first appeared. Most spots are gone, only a few tiny areas left. I’ve been keeping RH low and airflow strong with clip fans and the new dehumidifier running 24/7 🌬️💧. Feed mix (per L): • Corex 1 ml/L • CalMag 1 ml/L • Mira 0.5 ml/L (pH adjust) • Florex 1 ml/L • Aurora 1 ml/L • Bud Candy 2 ml/L • Terpinator 5 ml/gal (~1.3 ml/L) • Eldex 1 ml/L 💧 Watered around 15L total with 10–20% runoff, ppm ~1500–1600 @ pH 6.0. Switched to pure RO water this week for cleaner feed and better control of mineral balance 🙌. 🌡️ Temps: 26–28 °C (day) / 23 °C (night) 💧 RH: 50–55% (after dehumidifier setup) 📝 Observation: PM almost gone — continuing light H₂O₂ misting until it’s fully cleared. Stretch slowing down, early flowers forming nicely 💪. 💡 Tip: For growers in Thailand — using an RO system helps stabilize ppm and pH in local water, especially if tap or street refill water fluctuates a lot. Excited to see the flowers bulk up in Week 3 — hoping for a clean, healthy canopy ahead 🌸✨

Day 45. Plants have grown huge in last week. Tallest one about 65cm. At its closest point the light is 6 inch. The bud sites furthest away are about 18 inch. Trying g to even out the canopy with some success. Just using the string method of LST and also moving the pot around to get an even amount of strong light.

I just removed the lower leafs, im not sure if i screwed it or not as maybe this causes some stress, but we will see, i think soon she will start to flower, at least i think so 🤔 Also provided some grow food this week and continued the LST, the stem is getting fatter which is obviously good 👍😊

Jun 10: Getting droopy. Watered less than half gallon of Ph 6.7 water. Jun 12: That watering really gave a growth spurt! Gonna bump the humidity up to a max of 81% til we get further into veg. Jun 13: Plant is tall enough to tie some good looking limbs down and also the main stem to the side. Jun 15: Buckets are getting lighter, but the soil is moist, meaning my humidity was too high. That lead to some mold and algae that I will treat with spray Neem oil. Smells terrible, but should do the trick. Lowering humidity to 65% for a bit, then will probably get closer to 75% over the next few days.

A healthy green shade is returning, now that they're being fed! Each plant was watered/fed until full saturation + 20% runoff. Ready to be watered/fed when the soil becomes 95% dry (~3days).

🌱 GERMINATION (4 days) Seed in a glass of EC 0.4 tap water for 24 hours, then in root riot and under the lamp. She sprouted 4 days from dry seed. 🌿 GROWING STAGE (12 weeks) I decided to grow this plant with a long vegetative period, this allowed me to do a lot of training and try something more than the usual defoliation and LST. Starting from the 5th veg week I started my training, I FIMmed the main and carried out a defoliation sessions once/weeks for three weeks. During the last weeks of vegetative growth (week 10-12) she got significantly more intense training, a lot of branches and leaves were removed in order to allow the lower parts of the plant to get as much light as possible. I also topped several branches. Due the size of the plant, on week 12 veg I decided to halve its size by bending all the branches that had passed the first lollipopping phase. To support the plant during recovery from SuperCropping I mounted the ScrOG-net, which will also allow me to keep those branches low. I must confess that it was very satisfying to push this plant to the limit and then watch she recover in just a few days. Height at the end of the veg stage: 55 cm. During the veg stage PH was always between 5.5 and 6, about EC I started with 0.8 and was 1.7 on the last veg week. 🌸 FLOWERING STAGE (10 weeks) I started this phase after 48 hours of darkness, Then changed the DWC solution for transition. I focused the training on the first 4 week flowering, mostly LST and defoliation, then mounted another scrog to support and open the canopy even more. Stretching stopped during week 4 of flowering, doubling in height despite bending branches through the scrog-net during the transition phase. She showed pre-flowers around 20 days after the switch. During the last six weeks of flowering (weeks 5-10) I simply paid attention to the PH-EC levels to provide the roots with optimal conditions. I then kept the TEMP-RH-VPD-PPFD values under control with the Tent-X which allows me to provide optimal conditions also above. Height at the end of the flo stage: 100 cm. During the flowering stage PH was always between 5.6 and 6.2, about EC I started pretty high, EC was 2-2.2 during the transition, then I raises it up to 2.4 in the fattening phase, then slowly downed it during the ripening. In the end, there were five flush days before the cut. ✅ HARVEST - From sprout to harvest: 152 days (84 days veg + 68 days flo); - Harvest on day 68 from switch, when trichomes were about 95% milky and 5% amber; - Wet trim, removed fan leaves. ✅ DRYING - Time: 8 days; - Average: 23° C - 55% RH; - After that I made a dry trim, removed branches and sugar leaves. ⚖️ DRY WEIGHT 290 gr buds + 50 gr larf. I also collected about 5 grams of finger hash after the trimming session. ✅ CURING Curing is done after 60 days with Boveda 62%. 💯 SMOKE REVIEW After 60 days of curing, buds look frosty and shiny! Due the trichomes stage when I harvested, effects are definitely on the sativa side. After smoking it I feel euphoric and in a good mood, I will smoke it mainly during the day. As for the flavor, I can detect some pungent and earthy notes, very consistent smoke. It reminded me of my years in Germany, when we would drive to Holland to stock up on White Widow 😍
