It's amazing how quickly the weather can change. Just a few weeks ago we were bundled up in our warmest coats, and now it's finally starting to feel like springtime. With temps in the 40s and 50s, it's the perfect time to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. My pound cake plant is finally getting somewhere. It's totally weird, because the stems turned this super cool purple color. Soon it's going to be covered in pound cake buds that'll be ready to eat. I'm thinking fancy frosting might be the way to go, but I'm also considering something fruity on top.

Started off cloudy then started to warm up late in the week hit the 90F range. Gave the plant a good watering on day 57 and also day 63 after taking the pictures for that day. 😍

Green sensation made its effect and now we can see some resin dropped in the flowers. They have also gained some weight and size. The plants keeps looking good and healthy at the moment.

Another crazy week, hot days, cold nights, always windy. These are the conditions in which weed grows in nature and my girls seem to love. PK is confirmed as a beast. Perfectly healthy only a few scratches caused by the wind. No parasites. Very rapid response to bending with excellent branching. What a smell !!

trimmed and netted the plants last night, 12/30, and the energy pushed the plants to stretch another 1/2 inch+ this will be the last week of vegetation as I prep this light leaking tent for flower, not a fan of mars hydro at all right now. their poles are the weakest I've encountered yet, too many light leaks and this is the first grow with it. My high cfm fan , which is only a 4", is pulling the fabric too much and causing the leaks to grow a bit. This is not new, its been happening with indoor tents for a while now but I thought a grow company such as MH would have a decent, respectable tent. My solution is Blackout Curtains draped over the sides. However, I am hesitant to do this with the MH tent as the poles for the tent are too weak as it is, tsk tsk tsk mars hydro. will continue to increase the watts the next 6 days HAPPY NEW YEAR a combination of light and fresh soil has made the plants stretch so I will finish tightening up the MH tent today and ill start flower tomorrow, day 62. while adjusting the height I must have nudged the dial for the dimmer and sent it to 184w. this would have been a big jump but manageable but I lowered the light 7" and the plants took a bit of a hit. I adjusted the light back down to 160w and I'll let the plants recover before anymore adjustments.

5/23/2023 Week 7- Day 1 of Flower (Day 110 overall) (Day 49 of Flower) There was a couple of small super small sucker buds on the lower stocks that needed to be cleaned off but that was it. Just watching them Flower!! 5/24/2023 Week 7- Day 2 of Flower (Day 111 overall) Tucked a few fan leaves below lower buds but didn't see any blatant offenders that needed to be removed. I typically do start my checks in Week 8 but since this is a new strain I decided to go ahead and do a Trichome check just to see what was what.. Just as I thought nothing but clear glassy Trichomes. I will check again in one week.... 5/25/2023 Week 7- Day 3 of Flower (Day 112 overall) Just letting them grow today!! Smell is getting stronger I would say it is a hint of Pine and a heavier fruity smell. 5/26/2023 Week 7- Day 4 of Flower (Day 113 overall) I did Nothing but took some pics and I enjoyed it!!!! Other than that I took off a few little sucker buds trying to form. I did start to setup my Dry space as well as did a Trichome Check today and the brown tips are coming in nicely. 5/29/2023 Week 7- Day 7 of Flower (Day 116 overall) Found a few baby sucker buds trying to form so I removed them. Other than that I am enjoying watching her mature. I also started my Reverse of the Clone I took 6 weeks ago in Apr from #3. The tiny potter grow is going good. I did burn her a bit by pushing too hard too soon. She is flowering nicely. I imagine she will be done bulking here in about a week. Then about a week of 2 for a flush and fade. Was a really neat grow with a few mutations. I did not do any training beside defoliation here, and there. Cleaning out bottom to get nutrition in easier. She twin towered due to a mutation. Regardless she did good under the Mars hydro FC4800 light. The roots are starting to crack the container. We will see if it holds together till finish. This has been a difficult grow for sure. Feeding 2 to 3 times a day has been a hassle. I sure hope I place in the tiny potter contest. Day late on the update, pics/vids were taken on time tho just been a crazy week of harvests and trimming and keeping up with these. Reason I went with Rain Science is because they offer identical air flow for rapid growth as the radicle bags, just using a different material and a tighter knit so water doesnt flood out the sides during feeds and when you pick these up when the coco is dry, it wont fly all over the tent like with the radicles. They're the optimal bag for autoflowers especially. These 2 are doing great should get interesting in the next few weeks. I actually ran 3 of these in 1 gallon pots a few months ago and 2 atleast came out pretty good so the bus shots are from the 2nd pheno of those.

Sept 10th She was ankered to the fence with rope. Notthing to report really. Looking great no sign of mould. Heads are yellow looking. Pretty bizarre. From a distance its is really striking...does'nt show in pictures sadly She is next up for defoliation, together with Killer Kush. Few more days rain till sunny period..fingers crossed. Clones and bonsai training. 818 already has pungent, awesome scent. GZ are still beasts. RD & BH have fantastic natural shape. D.61t/10f RDs Sativa growth is showing off now and stretching out as expected. looking beautiful. what she lacks in Veg State growth is definitely made up during bloom. hoping she fills in the holes of the canopy
