Removed the 2 Xs 1500's (300watts) & replaced them with 2 P1000 (200watts) lights, now running 680 watts. These lights fit in better & have air space all around to help cool them, these lights run a lot cooler than the xs 1500s & only get warm not hot. Started some clones.

Mulberry F3 Day 49 Well had a little issue with maybe not feeding her enough. Upped the nutes a little and she seems to be doing better. She has topped out at 39 inches tall and has transition to flower.

Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! It's harvest time! Despite a few hiccups along the way, this little girl has made remarkable progress. I had almost a month of extreme heat and she suffered a lot, especially in terms of flower density, but she recovered greatly in the last three weeks thanks to Overdrive. She didn't increase her yield, but her flower density increased significantly. I'm really happy with the final result!

Week 5 already? Plant is struggling to catch up after such that two week lag period where it didn't do a thing. Still, things are starting to get encouraging so now watering every day at 2 hours after lights on. Added a webcam to the tent to watch what is happening. Noticed that at 12 hours after lights on, the leaves would start to wilt. Flooding at that time didn't have any noticeable effect before lights out, so I added a flood at 9 hours in (half the period). Pushed the wilting back to 14-15 hours after lights on, and just a little now, but still not completely solved. Grew from 2 inches to 7 inches this week!

Dafür brauch ich aber noch ein anderes Zelt und eine Lampe. Die Mütterpflanze kann dann erst mal wachsen und ich kann nebenbei noch mal ein Durchgang mit Autos schaffen bevor die Steckis fertig sind. Wenn es soweit ist gebe ich euch bescheid wenn ich Samen und Setup bei mir stehen. So jetzt aufs eigentliche zurück. Ich habe heute erst mal mein Setup geprüft und so gut wie möglich desinfiziert. Es ist verdammt wichtig das nach jedem Durchgang sauber gemacht wird also zb Zeltwände, Boden, Topfe, Boxen, Wasserbehälter. Habe ich gemacht und habe meine ersten Samen in Anzucht Erde gesetzt, befeuchtet, markieren und in die Box. Wände und Deckel mit zersteuber befeuchten und ab unter die Lampe. WICHTIG MACH DIE ERDE NICHT SO NASS ! DAS GEFÄLLT IHNEN NICHT SONDERN HALTE SIE AM BESTEN FEUCHT IN DEM DU ABEND / MORGEN EIN BISCHEN WÄSSERST! ICH STELLE DIE LAMPE AUF CA 40 cm zum Boden ein bzw der Box. Ein gewisser abstand muss sein um die Fläche komplett zu Beleuchten. Da meine Lampe dimmbar ist muss sie nicht ganz oben hängeng sondern Kann näher an die Pflanzen ran und Stelle den Dimmer auf 20 %. Das reicht anfangs in dem Stadium völlig aus, muss aber dann später angepasst bzw hoch geschraubt werden! Lüfter I läuft 24/7 und sorgt für optimale Bedinungen! WICHTIG LAMPE 20/4 HELL/DUNKEL (REGLER STEHT AUF 20 % LICHTLEISTUNG) DANN HABEN WIR ES EIGENTLICH SCHON GESCHAFFT UND ALLES RICHTIG GEMACHT! Toca cambiar las lamparas que hemos estado utilizando durante el periodo vegetativo, con un espectro lumínico más azul (entre 5000ºK y 6500ºK), por unas mixtas de 2500ºK. Más adelante las cambiaremos por las definitivas 2000ºK. Es importante decir que realizar fotos o videos bajos lamparas de floración, no ofrece un buen resultado... Así que a partir de este momento voy a utilizar un filtro corrector en las imágenes que muestro. Sigo regando cada tres días, alternando entre agua+Bio Rhizotonic+Bio Vega y riegos solo con agua. Llevo un diario de cultivo en una libreta y los principales cambios en una pizarra.

I decided it was time for a botanical makeover – no more settling for an average, run-of-the-mill plant. Oh no, my friends, I was determined to turn my green buddy into the Beyoncé of the tent. The plant underwent a transformation that would put any Hollywood diva to shame, becoming a bushier superstar that covered more ground than a celebrity red carpet. I could almost hear the applause from the tiny plant leaves – a standing ovation for the botanical sensation. But why stop at just a physical transformation? In the spirit of keeping up appearances, I went full-on garden Marie Kondo. It was time to declutter! Any discolored leaves that didn't meet the high standards of my garden's fashion police got the boot. Who needs an unsightly leaf cramping the style of the green kingdom, right? It's all about maintaining that A-list garden aesthetic – the Vogue of the plant world. In the grand comedy of plant life, Week 5 has been a laugh-out-loud episode filled with beauty, drama, and a touch of horticultural glam. As I stand there, admiring my now Beyoncé-level plant, I can't help but feel like the director of a blockbuster comedy – green leaves fluttering in the wind, tiny plant divas striking poses, and the whole garden stage set for a laugh riot. Which means airflow and internal light penetration become critical early. And that’s exactly why this week mattered. ⸻ 🍃 The Defoliation — Not Aesthetic. Architectural. This was not cosmetic trimming. It was: • Removing large fan leaves blocking interior bud sites • Cleaning inner congestion • Opening airflow channels • Resetting light distribution across the canopy • Helping the entire room environment (not just this plant) The room needed air — this plant was advanced enough to handle stress. That’s key. Week 3 of flower is the transition window: • Stretch is slowing • Bud sites are set • Energy shifts toward stacking At this stage, a strategic defoliation: • Improves transpiration efficiency • Reduces microclimate humidity pockets • Prevents internal leaf-to-leaf condensation • Encourages bud site activation below the top canopy This was structural architecture. Not haircut vanity. ⸻ 🌡️ 28°C in Flower — “Too Hot?” Let’s Go Deep. People panic when they hear 28°C in flower. But here’s where most growers confuse: 🔥 HPS vs LED Heat Behavior Under HPS: • Radiant heat warms leaf surfaces directly • Leaf temperature often equals or exceeds room temp • 28°C air under HPS can mean 30–32°C leaf temp • That pushes VPD dangerously high Under LED: • Less infrared radiation • Leaf surface temp is typically 1–3°C LOWER than room temp • So at 28°C room temp, leaf temp might be 25–26°C And VPD calculations depend on leaf temperature, not air temperature. ⸻ 🌿 What Is Leaf VPD? VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) measures the difference between: • Moisture inside the leaf • Moisture in the surrounding air But if you calculate VPD using only room temp, you’re missing the real transpiration dynamics. With: • 28°C air • ~25–26°C leaf surface (LED) • 65% RH Leaf VPD sits in a very workable mid-flower zone. Not extreme. Not stress-inducing. Not shutdown territory. We’re driving metabolism, not cooking terpenes. ⸻ 💧 Why 65% RH Isn’t Dangerous Here Context matters: • Good airflow • Opened canopy • Compact but cleaned structure • Early-mid flower (Week 3, not Week 7) At this stage: • Pistils are forming • Bud density is still moderate • Transpiration is active High humidity becomes dangerous when: • Bud mass is dense • Internal airflow is poor • Late flower resin traps moisture We’re not there yet. And we just improved airflow with defoliation. ⸻ ⚡ EC 2.9 — Aggressive but Intentional That EC is strong. EM#1: I can hardly believe that she weighed less than WW#1..she towered over her and her buds were as big..just not as dense I guess. Her main cola was a little over a foot and weighed 110g wet. I guess she just had a higher leaf-to-calyx ratio and leaves weigh a lot less... She was a desirable EM pheno..dense, stocky, sturdy branches, very resinous...just a little too leafy. Her total dry weight was 77g. Update 9/2: 11 days of curing and it's starting to really wreak when I open the jar. Very pungent..hints of ammonia in the jar and has that sweet skunky smell when incinerated. I set fire to it today and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It's got that same earthy taste I remember from when it was first dry, but with "herbal" tones on the aftertaste. The buzz is a really intense head high for about 5 minutes, then levels out to a good body stone. I like it. A lot. EM#4: My tablet died and I was unable to get any photos of her being harvested. Her big bent main cola weighed 115g wet and was about a foot long if you straightened it out.. All the extra branching caused by the failed FIM and super-cropping really paid off. This plant smells AWESOME...very exotic/spicy. Smells great, tastes great, excellent buzz... she was just too tall and lanky and a pain to deal with.. Her total dry weight was 101g. Update: 8/28 - I'm determined not to smoke any more of her until next week and she's better cured....well...maybe just a little....no, not until next week...well, maybe tomorrow... Update 9/2: I smoked some more today and wasn't as thrilled with it as the first time..maybe because I had just smoked some EM#1 ;-) EM#2: She is dead and drying! Her main cola was a bit shorter than EM#1's, 11 inches, but was fatter and weighed 121g, wet. One of her other colas weighed 100g. She's very similar to EM#1 (kinda leafy), so I expect her to really lose a lot of water weight. I'm guessing she'll weigh around 85g dry...time will tell. Update 9/4: Total dry weight: 91g It's only been curing for 2 days, but had to sample it. Bam! This plant was my favorite tasting EM of the crop thus far. Same great taste as EM#4, but even more pungent. I smoked about 6 quick bong rips and got a nice uplifting head buzz for an hour that leveled off to a good mellow body buzz for another hour or so. EM#3: update 9/2: She might actually finish in about 10 days or so. Plenty of time to hit her again with cha ching, terpinator, and bud candy... update 9/10: HARVESTED! This plant took more than 4 man-hours to manicure and took three 18" drying baskets. So many buds. I will be amazed if she comes in any less than 150g of dried bud which would be amazing, but considering her space requirements and duration of bloom, probably not worth it...smell, taste, and effect could still sway my opinion.. update 9/14: Total dry weight: 224g!!! (Half-pounder!) 74g of that was lower-grade bud which I'll use to make confections and e-liquid. Took a couple bong rips..she got me stoned, but she needs to cure. Still a little green-tasting.
