LST DONE TODAY NEARLY ALL OF THEM 2 JUST SEEM POINTLESS TO PULL AROUND BUT

Due to the tiny growth of this plant I haven't been keeping up to date with its diary. Photos have been taken throughout the process and I do plan on updating it eventually. I'm hoping that the quality of smoke turns my opinion around on this strain as I have had to turn to humor to deal with the absence of growth... But shes a perfect mini Christmas tree and boy does she smell good!!

Final phase, just water and environment control. A lot of damaged, stained and discoloured leaves. Not sure if related to the fert switching. All in all, they are looking good. Harvest week incoming.

Week 8 started 5/22/2022 Ending week 7 strong. Last day was 5/21 -- I added some organic dry food *** from the local, PH'd water to 6.2 with some added Cal Mag Pro. Just going on instinct here, added some epsom salt on top and will water that in later. Water in the tray feeder thing (Auto Pot XL in manual mode) is 6.3 ish. Centered into the lights and measured with the LUX meter. As she starts vegging into the lights its gets stronger and stronger, from about 600 to about 1200+ (just a little less than full sun outside in my locale-- I measured). I am not sure exactly what this measurement means, I only use the sun as a reference. I have both lights on full blast. Still deciding if I can handle the heat of adding the 150W HPS, its HOT HOT HOT, but it makes the flowers huge. I am stopping the LST into week 8, nothing but clean water for a while into the veg, don't want to over feed. I am just doing regular maintenance, watching the grow, and I keep using Crop Control as a preventative measure, I don't care if I am wasting it-- not to be weird but it just smells like it will work LOL. Still tweaking air flow. Height at 9" is the table, there are some tips that are at 12".(I re-measured and changed this to more accurate #s) She has to grow to at least two feet up. I need to measure everything and may have to reposition my filter to accommodate the height. We'll see. I am cleaning up the grow area now, nothing left to do except clean and water. Auto Pot guys said my stuff is missing little rubber grommets from the factory, maybe I can fix the damn things and they will have auto water and we will see if that affects grow speed into flower. I am scared I am going to outgrow my tent this time. I wish I had an A/C Infinity 4x4, those look sick. Next day follow up: Measured: I have just enough room to pull this off. I will re-position filters and lights before switch to flower. I will have two charcoal filters and one A/C Infinity fan, with just the single Auto Pot XL, and it will be functioning since I found the parts to fix. I may get some custom aqua-ponics - bubble-ponics thing going in the tray I placed it in, I think with more oxygenated water and a higher level, more cooling and I may actually get more growth/flower -- we'll see, I am always scheming and I have parts! Still thinking it through as pre-flower time approaches soon. week 8 day 3 - minor surgery, f'd up a cola branch by super-cropping the shit out of it. Fixed, but lost time on that cola, added side light on that side to help fill in, just when I should be getting ready for pre-flower! oh well, that is part of the mainline manifold game. Gotta have grafting tape on hand and assess before it gets to be an unsolvable issue. check your plants and pay attention to what they say to you. ***Dry fert. stats: EB Stone vegetable fertilizer blended with humic acid and beneficial soil microbes including mycorrhizae. NPK: 4-5-3 Derived from: Blood Meal, Feather Meal, Bone Meal, Dried Chicken Manure, Bat Guano, Alfalfa Meal, Kelp Meal, and Potassium Sulfate.

Week 7 went well! Took a few more bottom leaves because it was getting quite crowded and they were making it harder to find spots around the rim to bind her to for LST, and they were getting mashed when I had to pick her up anyway. Lots of benign neglect this week... Haven't fed her very heavily or done much other than let her do her thing. Thinking another week or so in veg. Maybe 2. Have to try to time it so my schedule will be open when she finishes so I don't feel tempted to rush again.

Weather has been rainy and windy so she has been living under a shelter at nights and most days. The climate is getting moisty here so i decides to remove some fanleafs again to keep a good airflow. Buds are getting bigger and they make me wanna sing ' I like big buds and i can not lie..'

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. This was an easy grow, and had some amazing results. This is some of my best homegrown to date ❤️ the ladies were easy to manage, no PM, pests or disease. The root balls were enormous, wasn’t much soil to recover. They got heavy in the end from the weight but managed to stay upright for the most part. They were big stretchers , prepare for that, scrog was a good way to go but some of the eager beavers got away from me, which ended in some massive colas. Overall easy to grow, no surprises and you won’t regret the results! 10/10 ❤️👊🤤

the smell is intoxicating

Trucking right along with no issues. Girls putting on weight and it's pretty cool to see other bud-sites fatten up with this light compared to my old blurple. Day 50 for the 2-gal and day 43 for 3-gal, cannot wait until harvest!! Gonna wait minimum 80 days for the 2-gal, maybe longer.

Week 4 and buds are beginning to fatten up nicely, I’ve changed the position of the gelato and one of the Zkittles to improve light penetration into the canopy as the leaves have began to defoliate themselves from the plants. This being said all plants are looking green and healthy and show minimum environment stress. Hopefully this change in the canopy will allow each of the strains to grow to their full potential with the limited space that I have.

Strawberry Gorilla harvest

The girls are stretching nicely and looking healthy as can be. I added the second trellis for extra support when the buds will be ripening in late flower. There’s already some early ice, on the fan leaves too, so that’s a good start! Some pheno’s seem a little quicker with creating flowers, but since these are f1 seeds it’s not so crazy that there’s some difference. It looks like I’ve got either 3 or 4 quite different pheno’s, which is exiting. I’ll do a big defolation on day 21 of 12/12 so you’ll see that in the next weekly update 👌🏻

⚗️ FERMAKOR – Neutralisation & Filtering (Final Stage) 🧠 “From reactor to bottle — the first real batch.” --- 13.10.25 — Pulled about 1L of the finished FERMAKOR extract into a 5L bucket and added roughly 2L of clean water. Let it sit for a bit to calm down and cool off before touching the pH. Sample came back around pH 6.8–7, totally non-caustic — exactly what I wanted before acidifying for storage. Started adding phosphoric acid (59%) slow and steady, stirring between each pour. Ended up using about 50ml total before the colour flipped red on the GHE drops, landing the mix right around pH 3–3.5. No foam, no violent reaction, just smooth. Smell turned clean and metallic-sweet — the kind of smell that tells you it’s done reacting. --- Filtering setup Used a pillowcase and cheesecloth layered together as the filter stack. The pillowcase handled all the heavy junk, the cheesecloth grabbed the fine silt. It came out thick, dark amber, glossy — zero grit. I’ll leave it to rest overnight, open, just to let any tiny bubbles or gases clear out before bottling. --- Final note This batch is officially FERMAKOR B Concentrate V1.0 (1:4). Storage pH locked between 3.3–3.8, ready to bottle and shake before use. This one’s rich in P, K, Mg, and micros, while Calcium Nitrate will handle the N and Ca on the A-part side. --- 🌱 Closing the diary That’s it for this round — extraction phase complete. I’ll be closing this diary here and opening a new one called “FERMAKOR A+B Test Grow – V1.” Testing starts Monday, 20.10.2025 on a single plant. Only week 2, so nothing exciting yet but the seedlings obviously are surviving the hardest part lol. I cant wait till these start booming in a week or so. Ive heard they grow fast as hell. Im excited to grow these autos right here. Looking strong. I will be LST right when the first true leaves grow in well to maximize yield as much as possible. Wont be topping it.
