Worm Feeding: - This week I fed my worms about a pound or so total of: Banana, mango, dill, tomatoes, carrots, strawberries, aloe filet, green beans, covered in a dash of oyster shell and alfalfa meal. - I layer down some canna leaves, layer diced up worm food, sprinkle dry amendments (kelp, oyster shell, neem, etc.), layer canna leaves, then replace bedding and they are happy! - Creating the food layer protected by the green manure gives the worms a nice buffer zone to move freely through eating as much as they want. - This method is inspired by Herbin Farmer on Youtube. These have got so tall!! Some stress from the light as it’s only a small tent can’t get the light up any more I have moved up the fan and the light a little !

Beautiful progress with this girl. Can't really tell from pics, but some of her fan leaves are turning a purple tint, like her sugar leaves. Been feeding max strength compost tea with every watering, and she really enjoys it so far. Also, a little update on the clones I plucked from her a few weeks back. 6 of them successfully rooted, and now I'm hardening them off in the veg tent. 1 is already progressing onto vegetative growth. So her legacy continues :) Update 01/27/22: Her lower leaves are beginning to yellow and i see a nice mauve color spreading onto the fan leaves. I don't believe the leaves yellowing are a result of a deficiency or anything bad. She drinks at a fast rate, prays upwards first thing in the morning, and continues to stack her buds at a solid pace. And shes getting plenty of phosphorous, potassium and a bit of nitrogen as well. Shes getting fed blackstrap molasses with every feeding, which has a lot of calcium and magnesium. So after considering all of that, I think she'll just chug right along. As it's more likely just how this strain is. I remember my first run having a rather light-toned leaf coloration. Anyways, im starting to get a slight whiff of that infamous "purps" smell when I open the tent. It'll be hard to keep my head out of the tent come week 5, because I remember this strain being such a beauty. And I think I'm doing a better job with this run than my first. This week the nice flowering continues. I bought a new light in China, Samsung LM301H 240W so I added it into my grow tent. The weak plant is probably destroyed and the yield will be very small.

D64. We're at the start of the fourth week of flower, and today was a busy day. First, I had to remove the old lights before swapping in the light from my auto tent. All while trying to avoid trashing the plants in the way too full tent. Not an easy task. The entire mission, with changing the light in the auto tent as well, took a couple of hours. I wish I could keep the Greenception lights in the tent as they're high-quality lights, but the Kingbrite has a much lower profile and thus takes up much less space. Space that I desperately need considering how insanely much these girls stretched. One of the tops on the second girl has unfortunately already been bunt by being too close to the light, and I'm sure I will run into light bleaching and probably foxtailing as the grow progress, but I hope I will be able to pull it off with the Kingbrite light. I also added some wire support to the branches that I super-cropped, as they looked somewhat sad after all the abuse to the canopy while swapping the lights. ------------------------------ D66. It looks like the girls have FINALLY stopped stretching. Phew! Yesterday, I gave each girl 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.2 with humic acid and EM-1. Today, the green lacewing larvae (Chrysoperla Carnea) arrived, and I dispersed them in the tent to deal with the thrips. ------------------------------ D68. All is well in the tent, but now when the thrips are (hopefully) under control, it's time to address the VPD. It has gotten seriously out of wack due to dropping temps, plus I increased the humidity to make the environment more inhospitable for the thrips. The temps were low due to the light change as the new one is running a lot cooler, but the temps have also dropped outside. The heating in the lungroom has been off until now, so I turned that on and lowered the humidity threshold on my exhaust fan. Finally, I put my small humidifier in the tent, generating extra heat and decreasing the humidity. So far, the VPD has increased from a terrible 0.4-0.5 to an acceptable 0.9, and I'm hoping it will increase further as the ambient RH drops as we move into winter. ------------------------------ D70. We're at the end of the fourth week of flower, and all is well in the tent. The VPD has gone up to 1.0, which is a nice improvement to what it was only a couple of days ago. I haven't scouted yet for thrips, but I will give the lacewings a couple of days to do their thing and then look closer. However, I went to WAR against the spider mites we have in our ornamental plants in the apartment. I sprayed all plants with my homemade pesticide (capsaicin, alcohol, horticultural soap.) since I had it at hand. If that fails to knock the spider mites back, I'll bring out the neem oil instead. The infestations aren't bad (yet), but it would suck to get mites into my tents, so better to be proactive. ------------------------------

Critical x animal cookies has grown into the nutrition now good. She did get topped today and roots pruned. She has been doing okay beside the nutrition burn early on under the Hortibloom Solux 350. She should start making some decent progress now with growing. The garden is thriving! OG KUSH, Royal Moby, and Cookies Gelato are seriously some of the dankest strains out there—each one bursting with that perfect terpene profile and loaded with resinous THC. These plants are incredible, and the grow is really starting to shine. The nutrients got a little too hot last week, so I dialed the lights back by 15%, but no worries—they’re already bouncing back, just like they always do. Gave them a little Recharge today to boost the microbes, and I’ll be flushing with just water for a couple of days to keep everything balanced. These buds are going to be something special!

1st grow in 14yrs, 1st ever auto. I'm nervous.... Week2: Dried out coco from over watering. Hung 2nd LED MH-TS1000. Hung wet towel in front of fan to increase Humidity. Getting 82F/56H much better VPD (went from 2.1 to 1.15). Tomorrow will finish topping off soil. I didn't have any Bone Meal till today. Well it's day14, I decided to go ahead and top off soil. 1st I added to ea 1/3cup of Bone Meal, 1/4 cup Bat Guano, 2tbsp Calcium Nitrate and Potassium Nitrate. Lightly mixed layer to top 1" of soil. Then added 1-1/2" of Canna coco mix (25% worm castings, 10% perlite) gently to surface. Last, I added a layer of cedar chips to the surface. (Hope I didn't do this too early...)

Then it was time to top them. It was interesting to observe how differently all four girls reacted to the loss of the main cola. Yes and then I gradually started to bring her down. But again, completely different reactions. Every time before I stressed them, they fed Boom Boom Spray beforehand. Super addition.

just about finished up this week. Choc mint 1 is about ready for chop. Chopped couple of main colas as i seen couple of signs of budrot. Dropped lights down to 400w each as temps are starting to rise above 30c. Choc mint 2 is looking unreal. Heaps of huge colas,think i will pull the most of this one. Will probably give till day 65.

2/19 Week 8 She is topping 35 inches despite all we could do to control the Flowering growth. Hate to think how tall she would be if we had not. So down the line most likely some bend and secure on the high buds in her near future. Nuets up a little some PK in the mix seems to be really spurring bud growth. She really does seem to like her accommodations. 2/21 Clean up day! Defoliated bottom of plant as finally we are no longer as concerned with stretch. Can really see her structure now, in particular compared to the FF7 beside her. Continuing to increase the nuets slightly 2/22 New tent setup! More light more room!... well for now

I will try and update daily Germination requires 3 things - Darkness , Warmth , Water One thing i should mention - Growing autoflowers, is difficult to do well,why? because from the moment that seed sprouts, you have a finite amount of time before she is finished, so any fucking about with anything ( repotting,pests,nutrient issues) , will lower yield.You can sometimes get them finished in 10 weeks on 20/4 but unless you have a controlled environment its hard to go more than 18/6 without heat and humidity issues.Autoflower breeding has come a long way in the last 10 years,Fast Buds is one of the pioneers. Day 1 - Tuesday 16/10/18 Put into wet root it cubes , then into the net pots with the clay pebbles, then pots into my rooting dwc boxes , placed a dome over the top to increase the humidity . Day 2 - Weds , nothing happening yet ! Day 3 - Thursday , I think she has popped , not quite up yet , see pink picture Turned light on 17/7 , why ? because I think this is best @ 13-15,000 lux Bestva 800 (150 watt draw) Led approx £100 , I would buy the dimable cob version if you can .(900 or 1200) Day 4 - Friday , looks a little distorted , has she got three leaves ? night time took a pic on the G7 .... Day 5 - Saturday , definitely three leaves , might just be the first node , fingers crossed she will be fine , was quite worried she wouldn’t make it , gave her 20 ml of room temperature water , with a syringe onto the root it cube , Day 6 - Sunday , looking ok , nice and green , I’m hoping the roots will be into the reservoir by now , you have to love fast buds , the germination rates are almost 100% , I have included a picture with the rest of the pots , for reference , there is a gorilla glue and a tangiematic, two of my favourite Fast Buds strains , which I started around the same time , IMPORTANT- do no let the root it cubes dry out before the roots are into the reservoir , make sure the bottom of the net pot DOES NOT touch the water Day 7 - Monday , I checked the water level and the ph , it has lost a little due to evaporation , root is well into the reservoir , I will add some nutrients tomorrow, seed on top right has pushed up but no leaves, this is NOT a fast buds seed, just shows u,... i have also put more pebbles in to cover up the holes, it would be nice if they did a pot that didnt have holes all the way to the top !!! Building DWC - you can build a DWC quite easily , out of cheap items , the ones in this week , were made by a friend of mine (Kev) when he spotted the box at Poundland for £1 - all you need is a black plastic box ( black so no light penetrates the roots ) with a lid , a 127mm hole cutter , air pump with tube and air stone , 140mm net pots to go in holes , some clay pebbles , and root it cubes , I will make a little instructional video , the reason I put them in here is because I will transfer into my IWS oxypots , which are too big to go into the tent ,and as the led is better with small plants it’s much easier .

Wow. The buds are filling in. The trichomes are starting to pile onto the buds. There aren't many trichomes on the leaves yet, but the buds are thick. The high heat and low humidity has been a struggle. Lots of fan leaves losing the fight with heat, but the buds are looking great. This one is gonna be well over a pound. Well over
