Morning of day 14- tops look dry but it’s just the very surface. They took a little longer than I wanted to dry out. The weather has been cold windy and rainy, not much sun lately, and we are still about a month away from our potential last frost date. Farmer’s Almanac says last frost date is May 30th or something crazy, even though the days are normally rather warm by now. I haven’t fed as of Day 14 because they are not dry enough, there is plenty of amendments in the pot, especially towards the bottom, except I will still spoon feed a little bit. I just rehydrated the tops as they were really dry at least 1-2 inches of the tops were dry, but the bottoms are still plenty wet, so with clean water in a spray bottle, I just lightly rehydrated the top a lil, so I might be feeding tomorrow for day 15, but I don’t know yet. Keeping the tent around 80 degrees Fahrenheit, and only about 25-30% RH. This helps me compensate for the lack of heat provided by the LEDs and help the plants adapt to a higher water demand. I haven’t seen the low humidity effect the seedlings, intact all the plants that grow outside in the hot bone dry climate LOVE IT! They were praising all last year. So to help keep me away from damping issues and to better prepare the little ones for the outdoors, I’m trying to match a hot and dry environment in the tent. With VPD levels way up in the red, I have yet to experience a negative impact. I have damped off enough plants in my life, it’s a lot harder for me in 60-70%RH to water the plants and get them to dry out fast enough in the tent with cold LEDs.

Into week 10, well past the estimated 6 - 8 weeks to harvest time from the online stats, looks like i have a few more weeks to go until they are ready. There has been some expected leaf drop from the lower canopy, the signs of it autumning off are appearing, but all is going well and the buds are developing nicely so far. I started a timelapse a couple of weeks ago in the tent and i've left it to run untill the end of the grow, will be interesting to see how it turns out, i'll upload that on the harvest page. 20/11 Had a slight misshap as i was inspecting the plants and bent a stem over 😱 I utilized two matchsticks and some masking tape to splint it up again, the repair is holding nicely 😬 I've documented the repair and uploaded the video for posterity. 23/11 Fed 2 plants 1/4 tsp molasses 1ltr filtered water @6pH, ec200 with just molasses, just to see if there is any positive effect. Trichomes are just starting to appear. Defoliated the lower canopy, cutting all the smaller buds not getting any light and upper fan leaves to allow more light and energy to hit the main buds.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. It was a great week for the 5 mainlines, they are all close to 20 inches tall, with 8 mains, and I decided to flip them all to flower today on day 49. If the ladies double in height by the end of the stretch, they should be around 40 inches tall and my lights are at 52 inches so that would give me about a foot between the canopy and the lights. I am still feeding GH nutrients, silica, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will transition to flower nutrients in about a week. I have found that it is important to continue feeding plenty of Nitrogen through the stretch. The only way I would transition sooner is if I was running out of vertical space. Still very happy with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. The gorilla zkittles took a plunge with yellowing of leaves immediately and dying off after a molasses feeding so I stopped that right away. Introducing fish shit today and hoping everything is still good.

La plus part des plantes ont des nœuds supérieurs supplémentaire qui pousse mais ils ont l'air faible. Je vais voir ce que ça donne 🤔. Je fais un peu de défoliation sur les nœuds inférieur.🤔 J'ai ajouté environ 25gr de poudre BioBloom par pot de 8L soit environ 3gr/L. J'arrose chaque pot avec environ 1.5L tout les 5 jours.
