They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! Big hug, lots of love and take care! ***UPDATE*** The final weigh-in is ready. I hadn't seen them in a week, because of my vacation. The humidifier I set up, had failed. So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! I smoke for medical reasons and it's used for ritual and healing purposes, never to be sold, as it loses its magical properties. Should I have to buy Gelato of this quality at the dispensary that I frequent, it would cost me at least € 15,-- per gram. 246 x 15 = 3690 euros. also, 49 car rides of 25 miles there and back, 250 euros in gas saved. These three plants are showing wildly different phenotypes. All 3 have different smells, different bud structure and overall size. They are all starting to put on a good amount of weight. A lot of resin is starting to appear and more trichomes popping up daily. These girls are very thirsty at the moment drinking up to almost 2 gallons every 2 days. Can't wait to see the end result. Almost there!

Finally got into the orange dream to get some pics , the critical XL was in front of her and got so weighty I couldn’t move her out the way to get to the orange 😊👌🔥, so with having moved the critical into the dry tent waiting to get trimmed I could get to the orange. This orange is weighty , phat , solid and smells of orange zest she’s got maybe another two weeks max just to finish off so this week I’ll take some of those faded leaves off and start backing off her feed . I’ve been smoking a bit of this already and it’s so good , my fave smoke I’ve ever smoked so moreish and doesn’t sit you right down but instead gets the creative juices flowing it’s gonna be so fun smoking it all . These Dutch fem genetics are so different than other strains I’ve smoked so stoked to have grown them .

Removed alot of leafs this week. Now i am going to sit back and watch her fatten up. Sour D is a slow finisher around 10-11 weeks of flower. I have a lot of tall colas and a lot of small ones as well :D But the big ones are pretty huge. The stretch surprised me a bit so it was good that i kept her short. Blueberry 420 are following the sour d in height but blueberry only 6 weeks old and is an autoflower but practical none the less. Water schedule is to water every 2-3 days with 4 liters each in coco. 1 liter each for soil when the soil has turned totally dry and dry down to a 2-3 cm dept. All in all amasing plants in my oppinion :D

Switched the light to flower 2 days ago. Did some LST here and there to improve light penetration for the lower branches. I see a lot of new green in between the fan leaves. The light is off from 11pm till 11am and on from 11am till 11pm. Last time I watered her was 10 days ago. The 30Liter pot holds the water pretty good which makes it less stressful for me :) the pot was lighter today so I fed her around 8-10 Liters tap water where I added around 40ml of Bio Bloom (recommended is 50ml/10L). So far there are no signs of flower yet but I mean it’s only the second day after the switch.

Day 44 - The smell is divine, and the buds are looking very pretty. Beautiful fade going on in the leaves, almost like a purple/red/black. Planning to tapper down the nutrients as we are coming closer to Harvest. Crucial to keep the pH in range during flowering and being away a few days, I wasn't able to correct it until I was back. So they were drinking more water than uptaking nutrients.. leaving a high EC in the system. Corrected the issue by adding plain RO water, treated with cleanse, no nutrients. They are now on track and could do with a last defoliation, but I've been holding it off. Will get around to it over the next few days. The buds are sticky, smell great and rock hard. Dehumidifier was added to the tent to try lower the humidity to a better range. Can't wait to see the end results and product. Another 2 weeks an I think we will be good.

Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 8/3- After eleven weeks in veg the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod has finally stopped stretching and I think that this girl's getting ready to transition into flower thank goodness! Our weather has moderated somewhat with daytime high temp's now in the 89-93℉ range but it still remains very dry requiring the daily watering to continue. 8/5- Today I watered the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod as usual at sunset with around 8g of well water from the garden hose. 8/7- We finally have some much needed rain on the way in the way of a tropical system which will be bringing on and off showers from today through the 9th. As a result of this gift from above I will not have to water the rest of this week! I am going to add a 7 foot support stake next to the plant to help support her if we should get any high winds. 8/9- I'm thankful for the support stake that I installed next to the plant, then tied the plant to it as we encountered pretty strong winds yesterday and I think that without the stake, the plant may have gotten knocked over! The rain is supposed to end this evening and be sunny tomorrow so I'll be outside first thing in the morning to check on the plant to see how she made out through the storms. Hopefully next week the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod by FastBuds will be shifting gears and then the fun can begin!!! Another solid week! I've been watering every other day and feeding once per week. I added Cal-Mag this week as I noticed some deficiencies on some fan leaves (little brown spots in middle of the leaf). I defoliated Alana really heavy today! She needed to be opened up for sure! I hope she responds well!! I also defoliated Anna a little as well. Anna grew 6 inches this week and is 26 inches tall!! Alana grew 5 inches and is 21 inches tall!! Otherwise, things are going well... they stink something fierce!! WOW!! I turned the T6 up a level.... Currently running at 6 out of 10! Cheers!!

la troisième semaine c'est relativement bien passé aucune carence et croissance vigoureuse j'ai commencé le palissage très tôt pour voir si c'est plus efficace quand la plante est jeune

Not much to report this week. This experiment has taught me plenty of lessons about this method. I suspect this crop will be a pretty large loss. The soil is too hot given the amount of left over wash from previous grow, the new seed was doing real well early in the week, but as it reached out and grew roots it just food nutrient burn :| One of the initial seeds (front left) has already started to enter flower phase. I suspect it will start to thrive a bit better , as it nute requirements will go up.

LOUD N STANKY, opening a jar gives you the duck face funk face.
