No more training, switched the lights to 120W+660nm+UV+IR. I had to increase the distance since the new QB is much hotter. The weather was very humid - AC working all the time, still 26.2C at night, usually 25C during daytime, 45% RH during day, 52% RH at nighttime .

2025-01-01 - Germination directly in PRO-MIX HP CC in starter trays on a seedling heat mat under a humidity dome. 2025-01-04 - Transplanted into 1 liter plastic pots and placed in starter box. I kept them under the humidity dome for the first couple of weeks. 2025-01-17 - Moved to finishing tent with ViparSpectre P2000 2025-01-31 - Topped and moved to Veg tent. I selected these seeds during the holiday sale at Seedbank.com. I was ordering some NL#5 (a different diary), and I saw the Purple Punch on sale. Having wanted to add some anthocyanins (purples) to some of my other strains, and finding the description of this particular cultivar appealing, I ordered 5 beans. They sprang to life like they were glad to be home. In the last week of the seedling phase, they exploded in growth, with wide leaflets INDICAtive of indica (not a typo, maybe bad dad joke). These are some of the shortest, stockiest plants I've had in the grow tent yet. They handle light well and in close proximity to the canopy, they are stacked thick with branches.

Topped again today. This plant may grow more wiry than the others by the look of it so will probably need more training than the others. We will see. Saturated the tent this week as I was out of town which is the reason you can see a little overflow in thetimelapse. This plant is now the one at the back in the video.

04/01/2023 - 56 days since my little girl sprouted from a seed Third week of bloom for my NYC Diesel 🍋🍊 Nutrients: Jungle Indabox - the girl responded well to the change in nutrients, so I continue to feed the same as last week when I adjusted the nutrients for flowering Jungle Environ X - bud stimulators 🌼 Bud Candy - bud stimulators 🌼 Atami - ATA Calmag - it is recommended to use Calmag when growing under LED lights I stopped the Hesi Root Complex - no longer recommended this week Training: LST: just a slight LST, I attached some small twigs with string to let more light shine on them 💡💡 Defoliation: I did more defoliation so that the leaves do not shade the already forming buds and the plant can breathe freely - this was necessary for NYC Diesel, it was very leafy 🍃🍃 Light: Mars Hydro TS1000, the girls are doing amazing under this great light, I can see a big difference compared to my past results 💡💡💓 In general: The girl is very strong, she has a strong stem - trunk, that is the basis for a proper plant 🌴. As the only girl in the tent, it's not a sativa, but a hybrid, which is fine with me, so the girl isn't as high as the others. Buds are already forming at the ends of the twigs 🌸 and there are many branches 🌾. It resembles a small dense bush. What’s growing on everybody?!?! Exciting week in my Banana punch grow! The plants are really growing quickly now. Got the light cycle switched over to 12/12, got my first layer of trellis screen put up so I can start weaving branches through. I also started the bloom feed today, which just substitutes the grow for the bloom as far as my botanicare line goes, I like to use a small about of MOAB to really get my plants to start flowering. I’ll have more boosters coming on in the later weeks of flower. I will continue with my IPM regiment of spraying Athena IPM twice a week until the third week of flowering, which at that point I will cut off all sprays. I plan on running this strain until my planned harvest date which is 3/13-3/20. I vegged until my plants were telling me they were ready to go to bloom, I let the shape and hardiness of my plants dictate when to flip them, I wasn’t rushing them. Day 43 (2020-06-21): Watered again today, but I think I might back off to every other day. I noticed the same nasty smell that formed in my reservoir is now in the runoff as well. Probably still growing in the medium. I'll try letting things dry out a bit more and add peroxide into the next watering. Day 44: (2020-06-22): Skipped watering today. The G14 mutant looks like it is going to have pretty low yield. The main colas have very small buds so far. Maybe it will eventually kick in, but I am thinking those smaller ones will just fatten up and not get much more vertical. Day 45 (2020-06-23): Skipped again today as things still seemed moist up top. Day 46 (2020-06-24): Both pots seemed light so watered around 3/4 gallon each @ 5.8 PH. I also added 3ml of 12% (food grade) H2O2 to help clear out any residual algae growth from the Blumat tank. Day 47 (2020-06-25): Flowers continue to develop. G14 is starting to fill out a bit, but the CBD is looking good. Will try to post some bud closeups before the week is out since the automatic picam snaps aren't doing it. Day 48 (2020-06-26): Skipped watering again today. Looks every 3 days is going to work although the G14 was a little lighter than the CBD when I last watered. May have to do every other day for it. Day 49 (2020-06-27): Watered today @ PH 5.75.

Day 29: LST is done. I set the lamp approx 36 cm away. BlackBerry Kush, LSD-25 started flowering. All of them are OK started growing rapidly. 600W LED, 20 hours on 4 hours off the same with ventilation. Water intake: 75 ml per plant plus triggering, humidity around 60 percent. Fertilization is on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with BioBizz family, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday bat guano and Epsom salt. Day 30: I did LST again. I didn't have enough elastic band yesterday so I bought today and bent them better. I also set the lamp closer approx 34 cm. Day 31: I did LST yesterday and bent them. They already "lifted up" their heads toward the lamp. As they grow I will keep bending the main stalk and the side ones. I will try to create a spiral form and spread the plants with time. Day 32: Most of them started flowering except Colorado Cookies. BlackBerry Kush aggressively started floweing. This plant is very strong and aggressive. Day 35: pre flowers nicely coming along.... Balckbeery Kush and LSD-25 are the quickest. I changed the lamp as it is now really good.... so I placed an other 600W lamp there. I will swap these lamps one week here other week there. I will change that lamp after harvest. End of the week the tallest is BlackBerry Kush with approx 25 cm (I bent them so can't give perfect measurement) and the shortest plant is approx 18 cm.
