Hi growmies, unfortunately I skipped a day checking on the reservoir and the plant must have consumed a lot more water than expected, probably due to the heat we are experiencing where I live, since I realized tip burn getting worse everywhere I checked the ec, which was close to 3 😳, topped up with RO water right away and this seems to have stopped it. Other than that I don’t think it bothered the plant too much either, as she keeps on swelling bigger and bigger. A&B fertilizer was reduced already and once, either next week or the one after I’ll start flushing, depending on the stage of ripening.

* ********* Week 11 - June 20 to 26, 2020 - Days 71 to 77 from germination *********** * It is the end of flush week and she went into darkness on Wednesday night, day 75, for two days. Saturday will be harvest day and start and the dry process👍 This week she continued to fill in and she also pushed out more frosty tricombs!! The fade happened this week more and she fed off of more of the nutrients within the plant.....perfect😃......would like a little more even but she was ready based on tricombs. Would like to have seen the lower leaves a little more yellow but its good. I am feeling very strongly that the big part of the pH issues this run was a change in feed water. I have always used bottled RO water for all my grows, except outdoors, but this grow I switched to tap water. Dechlorinated the water with air stone and gave it 24 hours min before using. Wanted to save some money and tired of lugging bottles downstairs a couple of times a week☹️ This is worked out nicely and a lot more convenient. However, the city must be putting some crap in the water that is causing issues in my media and raises the pH after the watering. Out of the tap it is 8.4pH and 275ppm. Since ppm were not too bad in my opinion I moved forward without filtering the water.......oops🤬🤬🤬 Out of options on what is causing the issue, I switched back to RO water late last week........all the girls are happier!!!! F......missed the cause for weeks. Always learning from this plant and my own mistakes to get better every run😉👍 Also wanted to add a little more stress to girl to help push out some increased resin. I drilled a 5/16” hole into the main stem to cause her stress. I did this rather than trying to break a branch and will see it goes this run. Sterilized a new bit in Alcohol and went for it. They went into darkness about a couple of hours later. Excited to see what happens when she comes out to get chopped😃😃 Not really a lot more to add this week as it was mainly looking at the tricombs and her buds. The pH will impact the harvest but she has been fun to grow and very resilient to pest and bug issues as well as grower curve balls. As always.......nice job Sweet Seeds....... SWS56 is very solid and I look forward to running her again one day. Beautiful little girl and makes me smile😃😃😃 Little more detail...... June 20/20 - Day 71 - Rezin and Liquid Weight @ 2ml/L = 285ppm and 4.0pH - 8L given to get a good flush....pH still running around 7.4 - Runoff in pots already were 7.9pH and 685ppm. - after 8L water runoff was 7.4pH and 360ppm. - she is 20” tall and 24” wide. - a number of clear tricombs but more becoming cloudy. June 21/20 - Day 72 - dry out day. - buds are firming up......squeezed a couple🧐 June 22/20 - Day 73 - Rezin @ 1ml/L = 120ppm and pH the water to 2.7!!!!!!!!! - Given 2L watering. - No runoff water and I am good with that as I want the low pH water to stay in the medium. - her frost levels are really coming out now.....was able to lower tent temps to 75 degrees and 51% humidity......its been raining a bit so damn humidity has been high. June 23/20 - Day 74 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 2.4!!!!!! - not excited about these crazy low pH numbers but doing what we can - her tops are getting more pointy now and ripening nicely - leaves continue to fade......she is close - checking tricombs, I think we are done and tomorrow will be her last day so that I can take down on Saturday. June 24/20 - Day 75 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 3.0 - Going into darkness tonight so this was her last bit of moisture. - drilled a hole into the stem.....was going to do a couple of holes but not trying this method before I decided to leave it with one hole. - into darkness tonight So we finish up the week with her in the dark. The girls are developing properly, frosting is beginning to be clearly visible.Also the smell has become clear and very intense.White Widow X Big Bud is the most noticeable.From today, the girls are switching to a different spectrum of light, UV light will be added.

Well I cut down my beauty ms. lemon haze, she was such an amazing plant! She is very easy to grow and isn’t to demanding. She goes with the flow as long as you feed her and give her enough light. She ended up producing some seeds, during the process. I noticed when I started cutting her big fan leaves, that a few buds had some seeds inside them. Her buds still look amazing! And the seeds look great. However, here are some pics of her drying process I will let y’all know how much ended up on the scale before I burp her. It was a tough week though! I didn’t know what to do in terms of training my girls 🌱🌱🌱🌱, this is my first time so I don’t know shit 💩 haha. I decided to manifold these beauties, I did it this morning, it kinda hurt to cut them off 😢 since I watched them grow and all that emotional crap 😅 but fuck it let it all be for the greater good, those 8 colas I’m planning to get per plant will look beautiful in a couple of months! I wanted to ask you all please. What about that hollow stem in one of the plants? I have read that hollow stems could be a deficiency, is that right? How can I correct it? Really hope she continues doing fine and make it through the process!!

Day 14 VEG: A good week of settling in and heading outwards to the pots edges this week. No stress , just a nice, relaxed , adjusting to the world they will inhabit for the next 10 weeks or so. They are nearly all on their 5th nodes now so will possibly begin to play with the 5th growth nodes this week to break the apical dominance ( focus of energy on the main stem and bud) . I do like how neat and tidy autos can grow naturally but they can also get leggy and waste a lot of grow room vertical space that is always at a premium for me in my cramped , awkward space. I plan to now use 3 different methods on the Amnesia haze to compare side-by-side as we grow. Will hopefully answer some questions about the methods and which produces better results. One will be topped , one f.i.mmed and the last one trained over horizontal at the 5th node but uncut. The last method is better suited to a wider pot than the ones I am using but will be worth a try !. They are currently happy and healthy with no signs of any genetic issues but the #2 is in a more compacted soil which has resulted in an odd rectangular shape to her overall footprint. Her middle leaf points are retarded on all of her fan leaves so far and it will be interesting to see how she progresses too. The Girl scout cookies are also nice and healthy looking so far with no concerns at all. I plan to defoliation one of these ladies at intervals and stripped her right back during flowering while the other one is kept intact with a light defol as it grows to avoid light blocking only. Again this could answer a few queries regarding autoflowers and defoliation for a few of us. I hope to make this an interesting and informative run and welcome any comments , advice/questions or general chatter as we go along. Be well UPDATE DAY 15 LST. today I started working with the ladies and completed the planned methods for them #1 Amnesia haze had the F.I.M which inhopenworks ( irony at it's best!!). I chose topping of Amnesia haze #2 as she looks like her nodes will be quite far apart compared to the other 2 and her lower growth was nowhere near as bushy as her 2 sisters either. This topping should stop her pushing the height of the lights up for her lankinness. #3 is going to be pulled over on her 5th node once it is long enough to pin down to 90° . Girl scout cookies have been cleaned of their 1st and 2nd nodes so i can focus the attention on the 5 remaining mains as they grow out more.. watch this space.lol .

03/25/2021 Day#1 more pics later. More lite bending for shaping, looks good gave 2 liters of banana peel tea supposed to be good pk boost throughout flowering period till 2 weeks before harvest so we will see how it works I will be given her tea once a week till week 6 then plain water till chop!

She is growing well, after a slow start. Light is 17” and the par is 600ish. I am going to make canister with yeast. Having a problem with low humidity and high humidity at night in the 70% range. Still just watering with cal mag, VJ and B-52 about 50-100 ml every other day. End of week update: the environment is doing better. Moved the light a little closer about 700 par. Watering has been 2-3 days about 75ml. Exciting things to come…

This week we gave them another trim up a tied them down more a today they have bounced back like nothing happened, strong ones they gonna be an so nice an healthy! The Sangria is looking really beautiful, she’s Been flowering for lil over 2 weeks now so we still got a good amount of weeks for her to build a little more but she is already looking amazing, can’t wait for her to be done, smelling delicious! Noticed the seedlings starting to get light green and we started peeing the forever homes that day. We placed soil 5gallon pots in the tent with plants to insure a smooth transition as those roots burst thru the decomposing pots. They got placed in pots Sunday and on full veg nut schedule... by Tuesday..... They we’re thriving! Very satisfied this week!

Ok so this week I did a defoliation and a tigh down too the netting , I really was not planning on doing such a big defoliation but the leafs became thick and dense and there was almost no light penitration down too the lower branches of the plant , so she is opened right up now and the humidity and temperature has dropped loads and the air is moving alot better around the leaves and branches , I will not take anything more off her now , I have also added Cal mag too the nutrients for this week only , she is well into pre flower now but the stretch has not yet started so I figured it's no or never too defoliate and tigh them down , this grill really has grown right out this week and is unrecognisable from the plant just a few days ago , I am very happy with them so far and being new too all this it's all very exciting , Thanks for looking :)
