Topping is planned for next week and in addition scroging, if the plant keeps spinning this could become a real problem. Training has been continued. She is developing very nicely. As of today she has been switched to 12/12, as the net starts to get busy and anticipating another stretch I thought it would be time.

Week two of the vegetative phase, and the Banana Purple Punch is growing like crazy!🌱🌿 The Banana Purple Punch is growing fast and looks super healthy. The leaves are a vibrant green, and the plant is definitely thriving. I’m sticking to the BioBizz nutrient schedule for the vegetative phase, and I’ve also added some Root Juice to support strong root development. 🌱 So far, everything seems to be going perfectly. The growth has been steady, and I’m excited to see how much more progress the plant will make in the coming weeks. This is shaping up to be a great grow! 😁✨

Week 8 begins with lots of buds. I let them be for now and let the buds grow. Can't imagine that they will only have about 27 days left.. Lets see if I let them live a little longer, since they were late flowering on week 6 rather than week 5... They all look amazing in the middle of week 8... Buds all over - everywhere you look :) And they keep on getting taller every day... The tallest one is now about 65cm.

This strain is very heterozygous. 4 seeds were started. The 4 phenos were very different. I saved 2 of those phenos for my arsenal, which is quite exceptionnal. I ususally save just one pheno from a strain. The Pheno #1 was mainly sativa (75%). Long branches. Lots of fluffy buds. The more resistant to mold, but it has to be with the fluffiness. The taste was cheesy and spicy, which has nothing to see with the 3 other phenos. Not a single ressemblance with ak-47 parents as well. It shares the musky undertones of the strain, but nothing else. That pheno is gone. Not enough potential. Terpene profile was deceiving, just as the cannabinoid content. The Pheno #2 has more indica in it (45% indica). robust and tall plant with dense heavy buds. No mold resistance at all. Biggest producer. The taste was earthy and musky with hints of wood. That pheno is gone. Not enough potential. The Pheno #3 is my favorite one. It reminded me of the good old Ak-47, with her flowery/sweet/skunky smell and taste. Pure nostalgia! Tall and quite robust plant with huge fluffy buds coated with trichomes. She grows pretty similar to Lemon Skunk if you know the reference. Great producer of top quality buds. So sticky! In my top 3 sativa for 2 years. The aroma is very close to the old school Ak-47: sweet, flowery and skunky. It tastes like sweet lemon on the inhale, with a sharp touch of spicy lavender and earth on the exhale. IMO, that is the pheno we want to save from that heterozygous strain. Backcrossing this one would be a very good idea. The Pheno #4 is just as interesting as my favorite #3. The only issue with this one is about mold resistance. Crazy compact and heavy budst! One of the most productive I’ve ever seen too. More traits of the Ak-47 in the aromatic profile, but nothing like the #3. On the structure side, we can immediately recognize the sturdy and bushy structure of Ak-47. THC content is very high too. I suspect the CBD content to be high as well. The effect is a mood elevation, with good focus and a deep body relaxation; a bit similar to what White widow does. The aroma is earthy and pungent. Very skunky and musky. It tastes very sweet and earthy on the inhale, with hints of skunk on the exhale. That pheno #4 expresses the best traits of the Ak-47 in its structure, while pheno #3 kept the aromatic profile.

This is mt favorite sativa dominant strain, I had the chance to grow her before and each time has the same fruity cocktail 🍹 aroma very sweet and fruity, gives you tropical vibes, and it's fantastic the quantity of quality resin glands that she's able to produce, very good strain as always from Royal queen seeds, I'm growing another 2 plants of haze berry in a diferent run right now, I just love that aroma of her, stay tuned to see this ladies from start to finish! Week 9 - Day 59 (from seed) Tropicana Cookies Auto by Fast Buds Update: Yesterday I watered her with 5ml Plagron Green Sensation and 6ml of Bud Candy in 2 liters of distilled water. No pH adjustment. This should help push the buds a bit more in this final phase. Plant status: She’s stacking up nicely! Buds are really starting to swell and fill out, especially around the main cola. There’s a heavy coating of trichomes — mostly milky with just a few clears left, no amber yet from what I can see. The sugar leaves have a nice frost to them and the aroma is getting stronger each day — very sweet and fruity. Leaves are mostly healthy, although a few of the older fan leaves are starting to fade, which is expected at this stage. No major signs of deficiency or stress. I think she’s entering her final push. Based on trichome development and overall appearance, I’d estimate maybe 10–14 days left. I’ll likely start the flush in 3-4 days unless I see amber trichomes sooner. Any thoughts or feedback are welcome — feel free to check the trichome pics and let me know what you’d do!

These girls were upgraded to 8" pots and top dressed very lightly with some dolomite, 4-4-4 and guano. I'm a very new grower but have noted on my last two rounds that my PK were often low (from the leaves) and that soil health just wasn't ideal. Trying to get ahead and create a stable substrate.

1/11/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 1- I have a root almost in the water.. Yay!! Top feeding is almost done. she is looking a little sad as I work the transition Top feeding but once the roots are fully in the water she will start to take off. Ensured my PPFD is set between 250-300 it is set to: 258 1/12/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 2- I have a root in the water.... NO TOP FEED TODAY SIR!!! now that a root is touching the water and she looks stable, I am not going to topfeed, I will see how she looks tomorrow and as long as everything looks good I am going to go ahead and do a change and week 1 fill on Nutes.. I know it is a couple of days in but the same Nutes go through Week 2 and get changed at Week 3 So I should be good to go.. I will just ensure I fill to root touching the water when I change tomorrow. 1/13/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 3- Water Change Day!! I added 36 Gallons of Water to the system: Silica= .5mil/gal= 18mil CalMag= .75mil/gal = 27mil FloraMicro=3.0mil/gal = 108mil FloraGro=2.0mil/gal = 72mil FloraBloom= 2.0mil/gal = 72mil PH DOWN= 30mil Very important thing with this system is to now wait the 24 hours for the system to adjust..
