Morning of day 14- tops look dry but it’s just the very surface. They took a little longer than I wanted to dry out. The weather has been cold windy and rainy, not much sun lately, and we are still about a month away from our potential last frost date. Farmer’s Almanac says last frost date is May 30th or something crazy, even though the days are normally rather warm by now. I haven’t fed as of Day 14 because they are not dry enough, there is plenty of amendments in the pot, especially towards the bottom, except I will still spoon feed a little bit. I just rehydrated the tops as they were really dry at least 1-2 inches of the tops were dry, but the bottoms are still plenty wet, so with clean water in a spray bottle, I just lightly rehydrated the top a lil, so I might be feeding tomorrow for day 15, but I don’t know yet. Keeping the tent around 80 degrees Fahrenheit, and only about 25-30% RH. This helps me compensate for the lack of heat provided by the LEDs and help the plants adapt to a higher water demand. I haven’t seen the low humidity effect the seedlings, intact all the plants that grow outside in the hot bone dry climate LOVE IT! They were praising all last year. So to help keep me away from damping issues and to better prepare the little ones for the outdoors, I’m trying to match a hot and dry environment in the tent. With VPD levels way up in the red, I have yet to experience a negative impact. I have damped off enough plants in my life, it’s a lot harder for me in 60-70%RH to water the plants and get them to dry out fast enough in the tent with cold LEDs.

So this final week the buds on this Orange Hill Special are filling out. They are getting rock solid and the calyxes are doing their final swelling. Also, the trichomes have started forming and up close, they are forming a white sticky film over the whole bud. The buds feel heavy and compact, although their size could have been bigger but not complaining with this amount of bud. I have just been feeding some perma tea and clean water since this soil is probably very high in nutes by now. I had some brown leaf points so just adjusted and all was fine. Now we go into the final one or two weeks. I did some final defoliation to expose some underside buds, they are swelling too. Removed some sticky underside larf, kept it in a box to gradually dry for a preliminary taste test coming days. Esta noche se ven creciendo con gran vigorosidad estas cepas Chilenas Pure Inferno y Bloodnana, actualmente estas mitad de la semana 4, desde sus 2 hojas reales. las nenas se alimentas bien y se ven felices actualmente se da alimenta con fertilizante Advance nutrients. Veremos como se ven las ultimas semana antes de tirarlas a floración. en riego, se da una vez por semana advance nutriens y 2 solo agua sola. las mas grandes tienen 4 semanas. la mediana tiene 3 semana. la mas pequeña tiene 2 semana. se tiran a flora en un total de 6 semanas a 7. PH:6.3 EC:750

Jour 39, tout va bien, je repasse en période 16/8 et je vais observer. Jour 40, sol humide PH 7.5, je ne sais pas pourquoi. Je vais faire un arrosage foliaire 1L (Terra Bloom 5ml et Sugar Royal 3ml) et un peu d'eau 1L. Jour 41, ph stabilisé 6.5. Jour 42, j'ai enlevé quelques feuilles pour l’aérer un peu.

I did a heavy defoliation with the green crack for the first time.. the first 3 pics are pre- and the last 3 pics are post-defoliation. Definitely better air flow now as well as more "tops" being seen. Tomorrow going to do the durban.. update w more pics then.

🗓️ Veg – Week 3 Complete This week marked a small but important milestone in the grow: ✔️ Plants were topped ✔️ Lower growth removed (light lollipopping) ✔️ Transplanted into the final 15L fabric pots – root development was much further along than expected. A very pleasant surprise! 📌 First time using: Great White Mycorrhiza – transplanting went incredibly smooth, and the plants showed no signs of stress. Definitely planning to use this again.
