Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. This week I added a scrog net and started guiding some of the branches through it. A few branches were already long enough to be bent and positioned under the net, while others still need a bit more growth before reaching it. From now on, the goal is to let the plant grow freely and focus on filling the net evenly before flipping to flower 🌿💪

18 plants, 5 strains. Each plant has 3 main buds. By means of LST I tried to make them all the same height. Because the plants have now stopped growing, leading is no longer necessary. The plants are still attached to the plant sticks with tie strips to support the buds when they get heavy later on. Lots and large leaves, and therefore a weekly large defoliation every week. The trichomes begin to appear. I have 3 phenotypes out of 5 Mango Crunches. 2 plants have pronounced sativa genetics. 2 plants are rather hybrid. 1 plant is mostly indica. All buds have a pleasant fruity smell. MC # 1 - 76cm - small plant, mostly indica, dense buds with many trichomes MC # 2 - 115cm - just the opposite of # 1 sativa type, very large plant with few leaves and very thin buds, curious how this plant will develop further MC # 3 - 106cm - just like # 2 sativa phenotype MC # 6 - 90cm - beautiful plant, few leaves with many beautiful thick white flowers. Hybrid type. MC # 7 - 92cm - also a beautiful plant, hybrid type like # 6 but with a slightly lesser bud production

Decided to take it outside.... 'till june 21st light hours outdoor expand..now it is 14hrs and rising... will germ indoor a few days and then will let it have all day sun later on the grow expecting much of this

At the beginning of week 4 she started to show yellow leaf tips. My assumption was that it's caused by light stress. I then increased the lamp distance progressively to around 25 cm, PPFD 400. Since the overall growth was satisfying I am not that worried. Maybe someone can chime in with a better analysis. Different sources say, that this strain could stretch up to 3x. I think I will flip her very soon since my tent is rather small.

This strain was a lot of fun to grow, Training was easy, it responded well and rolled with the punches, She was CalMag hungry as that as my only noted deficiency. She was chopped at day 69, would have been 70 but I had mothers day plans with the Ol' lady. The wet weight is everything but the bigger fan leaves (larf galore) I had so much trim. I love the smell I loved growing it, but I do not like how airy the buds turned out, I use quality LEDs and have a white widow in another journal that grew along side it under the same conditions, even the same trainings to the point where there structured extremely similarly, and the White Widow is ROCK SOLID. BUT with that being said, the trichome production was very nice, the sugar leaves will leave me with a lot of hash (half the buds were considered larf but were so sticky and covered in trichomes) and the smell is very sweet, berries and a hint of lemonaid and must. Keep in mind this is a taste after just a couple days of drying a sample bud and no cure. Overall its definitely smokable ill probably give some out but I would rather keep the airy stuff for me to smoke/process because I love it all. I am currently taking the week as a T-break so I can give everyone here a proper smoke report, including myself. Dry bud weight is only 51g BUT all the trim did get me a couple of grams, probably 3 of some incredible hash, The Hash taste like blueberry pie and a glass of lemonaid, the flower is similar but with a bit of a musky punch, the high hit me straight in the head and had me laughing at myself for getting so stoned, literally all i wanted was that pie and lemonaid that's all that I had on my mind. after a bit it mellowed out into a nice relaxing sativa feel, I wasn't nearly as full of energy but I was by no means tired either.

Always seemed like it needed cal/mag because of the neon green color. I did give it to them but didn’t make a difference.

Harvest on day 91 of cycle , day 54 of flowering.. I could leave it few days more for sure however my ladt harvest is nearly finishing so I need to dry this plant as soon as possible hehehe.. Purple punch has really frosty buds, it didn’t grow as much as I wish(I had to move the plant to the toilet with my burple light as there was no space for 3 plants in my 2x4 tent) but they are looking insanely good, with a strong flavor of grape, I am impressed with this smell/flavour, all covered in trichomes, I can’t wait to smoke it.. So my way to harvest it is I cut it down on the main branch and hang to dry out.. all the plant .. I prefer dry trim because it’s way easier to trim.. so now I am gonna hang it for 2/3 weeks and then start trimming.. I will update yield and tasty as soon as I finish trimming.. Overall I am happy with the results 🙌🏼.

Hi guys, this week has been great for plant growth..they are 85cm tall and I think they will grow a little longer. You can see the future buds that will be covered with flowers. From this growth I am learning that the FIM technique is better because the buds will all be at the same height and look much more (as you can see in plant number 4). Pistils begin to appear and in the next week I hope to see more pistils. Stay Tuned 🦍

Week 1 Day 1 - 8/12/2023 1st Water change Day! Such a special time it is when you remove the little bit of Nutes that you gave them as an appetizer and you give them their first real meal. Added 39 Gallons of Water to my system SILICA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Root Drip = 1mil/Gal = 39mil Cal Mag= .25mil/Gal = 9.75 = 10mil FLoraMicro= 3.0mil/Gal = 114mil FloraGro = 2.0mil/Gal = 78mil FloraBloom = 2.0mil/Gal =78mil ORCA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Week 1 Day 2 - 8/13/2023 Everything is looking good the roots are making their way to the water and the new grow is looking nice and green. Week 1 Day 3- 8/14/2023 Everything is right on track, they are looking beautiful and in the praying position all leaves happily lifting towards the light. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 A little worried today her birth Twin the BA I am growing out is looking great and is raised towards the light and this one is just slightly under.. Will keep an eye on Her. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 Walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. Also looking at the roots and she has some poking out the bottom but just not in the water yet.. Luckily we are set for 14 days before next water change so the system will stay stable and her sister already has roots in the water so she should only be a day or two behind.. we will just keep tracking but she is delayed. Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Roots in the Water!!! Huston, we have a successful launch. This grow is on! Humidity was a little low this morning so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that the temp looks great, the PH looks good, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning from over filling the cloning machine seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started. Everything for growth and environment is looking good and on track, there are a couple of mutations with this Lady will keep an eye on those leaves. IMO this grow is going A lot during this week 1 then week 1 of the last grow when I had them drowning. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.
