Week 9 begins! Week 8 went really well. This girl is full of red hairs and she's about 90% clear trichomes, 10% cloudy. Last week of feeding before flushing.

Week 9 started, nothing much has changed from week 8, just looking at buds and trying to notice the changes in size and just checking in. Plants look well, mostly buds, some lower leaves arent that healthy but probably due to light. Still adding flower nutriens, because I think harvest could be one or two weeks away, could flush later. Not sure if I should add even more water? Cant really tell from plants. Hoping this week buds will get bigger in size, currently they seem pretty small still. Week 9 ended, plant 1 has nice big bugs, some brown-ish flowers, sad that it outgrew space, some top buds were burnt by light, plant no 2 which was under secondary light also have nice big buds (this light has more red color i think), also this plant outgrew its space and had burnt top buds from light, but it looks almost ready, lots of brown flowers, also it has leaves with marks and issues, so already started to flush it, plant no 3 has nice frosty buds, but they are smaller in size, either lightning setup didnt reach it or maybe it was because of all the stress it recieved in vegetation weeks. Defoliated plants, which I think now is kind of mistake, should remove only the big fan leaves, no the small ones, perhaps thats why plant no 3 has smaller buds, because it recieved lots of defolation lately. Changed up lightning setup and moved plants around for better light conditions. Plant no 1 or no 2 could actually be ready for harvest or in few days, im not really sure, Im waiting on all plants for harvest, because will use grow space for drying and curing. Also I've shoulde started flushing somewhere this week, now Im going to start flushing only at end of week which could be too late.

Woche 2 der Blüte hat begonnen. Die Pflanzen haben in der letzten Woche noch einmal ordentlich an Grünmasse hervorgebracht. Außerdem wurde wieder jede der der Pflanzen mit dem BioEnhancer von GreenHouseFeeding gedüngt. Die Automatische Bewässerung ist auf 5x 5min, über den Tageszyklus verteilt, eingeschaltet. Auch ist immer mehr ein Geruch beim öffenen des Zeltes wahrzunehmen. Im Laufe der Woche wird wieder entlaubt. Sobald der größte Teil des streches abgeschlossen ist, kommt ein Netz ins Zelt.

Motherplant of this clone didn't give same buds as a clone. Shame I don't have mother plants anymore. I would recommend Durban Poison for everyone, I guess more people should feel this strain. This is my favourite sativa from 2019!

7 Days in, 9 since planting. On day 1 i did a time lapse and found that my fresh bagged soil came with bugs in it. got some 'Jakes' killed the bugs, but over saturated and by 5 of their life i found a bit of mold. lightly sprayed more 'Jakes' and turned on my clip fans.. since then the mold and bugs are 100% gone. the photos of the single seedlings are most recent.

Por el momento falta poco para que los cogollos se terminen de cerrar. Calculo que en una semana cuando se cierran ya paso a usar el overdrive. Dialing in the VPD with TrolMaster’s Tech Now, let’s talk VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) and how I’ve been keeping everything in check with the Tend-X and the incredible (DSH-2U) Humidity Station. Day 28 skipped watering. I don't know what she has. Are those spotes calcium deficiency? Day 29 1L water. 550ppfd 70% Day 30 skipped water, but tomorrow will water 1.5 topped the middle node to keep up with the rest. vpd ~0.8-1.1 kpa 580ppfd Day 31 0.5L water + 20 ml orgatrex + 1g bactrex vpd ~0.0-1.2 kpa 580 ppfd Day 32 1.2L water. Almost no drainage Day 33 skipped watering. snapped the first 2 trying to LST. But I kept them on I hope she will be healed Day 34 2L water.

Repotted veg area. Most are still babies. Will receive final transplants before going into flower in a couple more weeks. The clone I took from the sativa-dom is doing well, as is the og lemon x cupcake. Will veg these two for the longest, and will eventually end up in 5-7 gal pots. Also plan to take some cuttings from these two. Two girls in flower are approx 21 days apart. I call them the supercroppeds because that’s what they are. Sc1 is on day 49 of flower a/o aug28 and sc2 is on day 28. Both seem happy and healthy. Believe there may be an abundance of nitrogen in sc1 as some leaf tips are burnt and folding back. Two plants about a month in veg have been put into flower as well. A sort of 12/12 from seed kinda thing. I have been experimenting with the basics thus far. A sea of green will be underway in a couple more weeks, once these babies grow to toddlers. Been outdoors mostly, no nutrients. Plain Jane from Mother Earth. Comes out great each year. All unknown strain bagseed. A tad different growing in a 2x2 room.

Last week plants were looking super healthy and responded very well to the second topping so I decided to flip the light schedule few days later. They already started stretching and the smell is noticeably enhanced.

🌱 Day 50 - First Day of Week 8 🌱 Hello, Grow Friends! My plant is doing well, and it’s amazing to see visible progress every few hours. 🌱✨ The buds are in full throttle, and I feel like the plant is now needing more water as the pots are drying out faster. 💧 Watering: I’m still watering with 1L every two days. 💦 The dosage of BioBizz Grow and BioBizz Bloom has been increased according to the BioBizz feeding schedule. The pH of the water remains constant at 6.0. ⚖️💧 Temperature & Humidity: Luckily, the weather in Germany is cooling down, so I no longer have to deal with temperatures of up to 30°C in the tent. 🌡️🍂 I’m expecting temperatures to settle between 18-23°C now that we’re in September, and humidity should stabilize around 50-55%. This will create perfect conditions for the upcoming drying process. 🍃✨ Plant Health: The plant is looking good overall. 🌿 I did have some calcium and magnesium deficiency symptoms recently, but I’ve managed to get that under control with CalMag. 💪 I’m continuing to carefully remove any leaves that are noticeably blocking light to the buds and hindering photosynthesis. 🍃✂️ Vibes: Every day, my plant still enjoys an hour of Lo-fi Jazz music. 🎶🌱 I think it helps set the perfect growing atmosphere. 🎷 I’ll keep you all posted, and remember, I upload new pictures to the diary every day! 📸🌿 Stay tuned!

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Day 9. All is running very nice. Happy with light performace a lot. Girls missed wind a bit, but i cant make it faster, because of neighbours and sound, so i took humidity dome away. TSL2000 runs 40 cm away and on 40% output. Girls get daily shower , try to keep some wet cloth to maintain humidity. Day 12. Thats the happy f@cker in video ;)))) Happy Growing !!!
