It's been a busy 2 weeks. Luckily i took pics and a video i just didn't have time to post so i'm going to do both weeks one after another. Great week for growth, started to see some bud sites. I did a bit of pruning and some more LST. More to get some light into the middle part of the plant than anything else. This plant is growing really well.

This strain has a yield of extra large, compact colas that are heavy in weight and covered in extra adhesive trichomes that stick to your fingers. Cherry Punch's exterior is dark green and exhibits small amounts of midnight purple leaves Cherry Punch's exterior is dark green and exhibits small amounts of midnight purple leaves. Its aroma is fruity but skunk-like, and has a soft, sweet berry taste that resembles its parent Purple Punch

Ended up giving 3 more feeds but have run out of time again. Still not really seeing any amber trichomes but starting flush and hope for the best. Pretty sure I am going to end up with about 3 ounces less then first run but the buds look heaps better.

She started to show some purple and producing frost and man does it smell beautiful. Everytime i touch it, it smells like skittles to me. I smell so much sweet lemon. I absolutely love the smell. And for such a short plant, the buts are way better than I expected with only more time to get better :))

day 73 I was not ready for all this! 🤣🤣 they literally exploded, even though the buds of El Patron are much thinner than the purple queen I have in my tent, I had to tie them up so that the weight of the flowers didn't break the branches. I have to say that 6 photoperiods are too many for my 1m x 1m x 2m tent. in addition to this I have noticed that they are very hungry. like me and give me some advice. thanks for stopping by, have a nice day and happy cultivation 💚🌳💚🌳💚🌳

Struggling with RH, tent is too crowded bc I have lots of negative pressure, tent is bowing in hard. The best I can get down to is 50%RH, however I have tons of circulation. Look at video. I put a dehumidifier in the lung room. Rh drops if I open window, but its raining. Too wet outside rn. It went from blizzard (dry) to rain for 7 days now, maybe thats why Im struggling. Need circulation in lung room too. Vents open, still struggle, tent door open, im fine. And I use blackout curtains so no light penetrates the room. It maintain complete darkness 24/7. Plants sleep when i sleep, so never worried about it. My house was built in 1952 post WWll, so no insulation, just straight brick and a solid slab. That means it will hold moisture. Lung room at 35% RH. Rearranged set up. Trichomes...... 70% clear, 20-25%% cloudy, 5% amber

Harvest is coming and the plant is fully ready to it. Trichomes are cloudy and the buds are big and dense. The last 48 hours, plant will be in darkness to rise the number of terpenes and improve smell and flavour and I will not water it anymore. I cutted off the bigger leaves in order to make the plant know that only last hour left. I'm really proud of her and this was a really nice experience. I will repeat it someday, be sure about that.

Sour Diesel — Week 12 (Week 7 Flower) “The Ascension of a Fighter” 12/12 from seed. No safety net, no adjustment phase — just straight into the cycle. And from day one… she struggled. But she stayed. ⸻ 🌱 How did we get here — 12/12 from seed This run was built around a system — not individual plants. From germination, all plants entered the same 12/12 rhythm. No veg buffer, no separate adaptation window. And that means one thing: ➡️ The environment doesn’t adapt to the plant. ➡️ The plant adapts to the environment. Most did it smoothly. She didn’t. Different feeding sensitivity, different response to VPD, different pace. She never fully synced with the room… But she never gave up either. ⸻ 🌿 The “Unhappy” Plant That Didn’t Quit Let’s be honest — she was behind from the start. * Slower development * Less vigor early on * More sensitive to feeding and conditions In a single-plant run? She might have been considered a failure. But here’s the reality: She adapted. She corrected. She found her rhythm — late, but real. And now? She’s showing why genetics matter. ⸻ ❄️ Trichomes & Frost — Unexpected Power For a plant that struggled… The resin production is honestly impressive. * Buds coated well beyond expectation * Trichome coverage consistent across sites * That classic Sour Diesel sparkle starting to show character Not the heaviest producer in the room — but absolutely punching above her weight. ⸻ 🌸 Density & Structure This is where she surprises even more. * Smaller plant overall * But buds coming in tight and compact * Good stacking despite limited size She didn’t stretch much — but what she built, she built with intention. Dense. Focused. Efficient. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment — Why we didn’t adjust for her Important point here. This room is dialed for system stability, not individual correction. * Temps, RH, feeding — all set for the majority * Adjusting everything for one plant would destabilize the whole run So in this case: ➡️ She had to adapt to the room ➡️ Not the other way around And that’s exactly what makes her story interesting. Because she did. ⸻ 💧 Nutrition Same base feeding as the room: * Terra Bloom * Pure Zym * Sugar Royal * Power Buds * Green Sensation * CalMag Pro pH ~6.5 | EC ~2.0 She showed sensitivity early on, but stabilized over time. No chasing deficiencies. No overcorrections. Just steady input and patience. ⸻ 🧠 Observations This plant is a lesson. Not every plant thrives instantly. Not every phenotype fits the system. But resilience… that’s where the real value shows. She may not be the biggest. She may not be the easiest. But she’s earned her place in this run. ⸻ 🔮 What to expect next week * Continued resin development * Slight increase in bud density * Possible early signs of ripening (some pistil darkening) * No explosive growth — but steady finishing She’s not going to suddenly become the biggest. But she will finish properly. ⸻ ⚠️ What NOT to expect * No late stretch * No dramatic size increase * No sudden change in structure This is about refinement now, not expansion. ⸻ 🙏 Final Words To everyone following this journey: * The ones who support from day one * The new people discovering the process * The skeptics — always part of the balance * The silent watchers * The platform hosting this space * The sponsors and partners * The genetics behind this resilience And especially… This plant. Not perfect. Not easy. But real. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. GENERAL COMMENT. Two different realities are populating my humble growroom, by one side we have a vibrant SKR and the other the NL that was destabilised a wile back. This two girls from RQS have lots of virtues, and shooting up many colas, and harvest is looking promising also with the lock in the NL. RQS NORTHERN LIGHTS AUTO AKA NL - COMMENT. After struggling a lot to curb her deficiencies and spotting, I could rinse off the salt buildup and raise the soil PH, flush, flush, flush little bit of voodoo juice, and only the full organic based nutes made the trick for now, so we are stable, and leaves started to look healthier, spotting stoped but is already in the majority of the leaves. EC is light at 1.1 Stoped taking the runoff since i made the medium treatment, and honestly that got on my nerves now is bulking this colas or die, finito with the over caring thing… One thing to notice is that i have to re do this strain to fully grow it and having a 100% potencial to be able to fully judge, as for now if you do this strain use less of everything, nutes, light, water, less is definitely more with this strain. Smell is the least pungent of the plants i ever done, so if you are looking for a stealth plant this is a good candidate.

Love the strain. There was heat stress, and for such much light 2x2 tent would be better. After curing: Tasty as hell grape "cold" flavour, body tranqulizing high, after few hits from the bong its a good idea to chill and watch a movie. Absolutley love the smoke in the end, from bag appeal to high :)0

Long time connoisseur, 1st time grower. I started thinking I wanted to do outdoor, but where I live, it’s pretty cool until almost mid June. So in July I committed to indoors, and have been slowly figuring it out, while consuming TONS of content and advice from forums. High Hope’s! 😎
