Third week up we go, for this week i decided to lower my VIPARSPECTRA P2000 and bring the light closer to my canopy, i believe they are strong enough to higher PPFD numbers, so at 50cm this is giving me around 1000 uMol/s, with for this faze i believe is perfect, lets see how they react and if needed i can always adjust 😆 but since they are super healthy and strong af , why not pushing them to higher limits 😅💚😆 And with enormous honor and pleasure that i start collaborating with Zamnezia and Viparspectra For this run i will have the pleasure of growing some Runtz genetics from Zamnezia seeds that they wore kind enough to send me for test and review 🙏🙏🙏💚💚💚🙏🙏🙏 and for the testing and reviewing i was blessed with the VIPARSPECTRA model P2000💚💚💚🙏🙏🙏 they wore amazing and send me this LED light for me to do some testing and some reviews. Day 88, 30th of October 2020: I am just back from my holiday my friend looked after her really nice the 4th week already and buds are coming nicely along.... Great to see this beautiful lady very stinky by the way.... Smell is strong...🤪 She is very nice.... ;) I removed some leaves getting pointless to be as she focuses more on the buds.... Those leaves were removed from the top mostly.... Now she gets one day extra darkness and but previously she had more dark hours than 12 hours because she was removed in the morning and back in the evening because she is in the tent with other plants and they are in veg now....🤪🤣🤣 I just started changing the schedule for those as well so from tomorrow no need to remove her and putting back.... ;)

Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. Day 42 Flowering and the frosty monster has paid a visit. The glistening of the trichromes when the light hits them right. The Red hot cookie looks so good bud wise and I am gutted to not have a full version to sample. The same with the sweet Afghani Delicious too. They should offer a few joints but that will be about their total. Amnesia Haze is absolutely stomping it now.. Her bud growth has been excellent this week and they started their swelling a few days ago. The Los at 60Lstruggled to keep the. fed so I have also introduced the shogun sumo boost and pk warrior 9/18. She has now got a lot of frost on her mains and sugar leaves but is till producing fresh happy white pistils daily. She has at least 2 weeks left tobswrll before the ripening starts. Her buds are rock solid to touch and give off a fruity/diesel terpene smell. seeing her many mains and the beautiful buds she is producing now is a welcome site. She has spread out excellent for the lights footprint and seeing all those side branches become such full mains is a relief. I love this strain to grow so far . Seeing how well she stacks up for long colas is an inspiration for future grows and certainly a new growers dream 1st grow. She is an hungry lady and easily takes the full 8L of feed every other day with just a touch of run off. I plan to do a controlled drought for approx 8/9 days at day 49 amd then a last feed before harvest following. There is a lot of study results to suggest this increases thc content and oils similar to stem splitting and other methods , so I thought I would give this a go too. Lets see how it works.... Drying time

Background Fingers crossed that these Spicy Bitch regs provide at least one male so that we can back build some stock of it. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. At least not as long as I wasn’t high when using the calculator again….. Many thanks to @MarsHydroLED for the opportunity to test run the equipment👊. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. Many thanks to @Exoticseeds for the chance to give these beans a go👍👊. Pollination Strains: Holy Surfer S1 - this is one of the focal points for this cycle. A fellow growmie was kind enough to ship over some S1 genetics I took an interest in. The only ask back was that if I did cross it to send a few his way for testing👍. Shoutout and cheers to @blendmedmedman. Hoping to have something back to ya in short order. It’s a compact and squat plant requiring very little maintenance. Typical for the strain really. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

Day 5 since time change to 12/12. Hey everyone ☺️. Finally the time has come :-) The lady moved into the flower tent on January 6th, 2021 😁. The day before, of course, a cutting was taken 👍. In the flowering tent, the distance between the plant and the lamp is 40 cm so that she can get used to the strength of the lamp. After 3-5 days I go down to 30 cm. This week it was watered twice with 1 l per plant. GHSC enhancers were added to one wash :-). Flower fertilizer will only be added in 12-16 days as soon as the first blossoms are there :-). Otherwise the tent was completely cleaned and the humidifier refilled. For the next few days I have filled fresh osmosis water in canisters again :-). Next week I will remove the bottom shoots so that the energy doesn't end up going into small popcorn buds 😉. Fast to flower some decently large nugs! This girl is the only one that survived my "initial torture test" for my sf4000(dimmed to 75% (333watts) in quarter of my 3x3 tent)! She was very resistant to "too much light intensity" as a seedling, and didn't mutate! Once the light was at an ideal height, she started vegging very strong, but 1 week of important time had been lost. She started to flower, and stacked up a bunch of dense buds very nicely! I'm very excited to be growing this strain again next run!-with more training.

Everything going well with this strain no problems and growth is very fast, they bounce back after any defoliation. Day 41 - Gave them a haircut today and a good Biosys tea feed till run of will leave now till start of next week Planning to add a drip irrigation feed system this week to make this a little easier. 🤞 Will update next Sunday now end of week 6 as will be busy adjusting and implementing the irrigation feed.

I'm now on vacation for 2 weeks so all photos will be from my security camera. From what I can tell my new clones are greening up and putting out some new growth. My blumats had a runaway on day 3... luckily my neighbor was around and was able to slow the drip rate down on my one plant which was starting to flood my box. It has now stopped dripping and my hope is there will be no more hiccups..I will be watching closely over my vacation. 😅🙏

23/08 - In week 5 of flower now, the buds continue to fatten and smell is getting stronger. I increased the nutes but overall the plants are looking green and are happy. I water them every 2-3 days. I watered them 1L with nutes today. 27/08 - watered today with 1L water at ph 7. The smell is starting to get very intense.
