I guess I first have to extend a big thank you to James and the folks at RQS. The genetics of their “Northern Light” did not disappoint and this was a no fuss grow across all categories. This will be the only time you hear me refer to Northern Lights in the singular. It’s kinda like calling a “pickerel” a “walleye” - you just don’t do that up here😉. She took well to training, showed no signs of lockout or deficiency, and we were at the top limits of botanicare’s recommended feeding schedule the whole time. I’d call this typical NL - the scent wasn’t overly powerful, she grew somewhat squat and while I’m actually very surprised at the final weigh (thought it would be much less), the whole grow was typical of the strain in my experience. Possibly her biggest limiting factor was simply space constraints. The photos pretty obviously demonstrate that she got really crowded out by the neighbouring kush and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if she’d have done a little better with some more room. That said, what isn’t “typical” are the effects. RQS touts this as a cup winner and I can see why. Had the opportunity to sample a little and WHOA! She Hits with a lasting, cerebral and euphoric effect that starts as a light, happy high. Not a crippling or dulling effect at all. Just everything you’d expect from a well rounded strain in general. Perfect. I almost wanna describe it as a classic sativa but I’ve been smoking nothing but a pure indica for so many months now that anything different is gonna feel that way 😂. Reservoir uptake has slowed down, added one gallon to each reservoir Peek at trichomes looks mostly cloudy. Will hopefully be harvesting in two weeks.

So week 15 and she’s been chopped she’s is massive and she smells great the colour oof her is mesmerising I can’t wait to smoke her 🔥🔥🔥💨💨let these hang for 5 days then started removing buds from stalk and gave her a little trim I’ll leave her on nets for a few more days before putting her in jars it’s taken hours to get through these two plants some parts Easyer to trim than others buts it worth the hard work in the end the colours are amazing and the smell is ridiculous so sweet leaves my mouth watering the buds are very dense aswell very happy with her 🍒🍒🔥🔥🔥💨💨💨💨🍒🍇🍇

Healthy looking lady, although she's having to deal with a fungus gnats pest she's growing super fast and "healthy" not as healthy as she should but healthy anyways. She's gonna make a huge change once I apply the nematode called steinernema feltiae to finally get rid of gnats, peace out everybody! 💚❤️💛

The buds are starting to form. The smell is strong when I open the cabinet, but with the filter, it doesn't smell. I corrected the deficiencies I had correctly. I defoliated a bit to allow good light penetration. I'll let you judge how they look now. I did a week of stretching, lowering the light by 1 hour each day.

Defoliating weekly

Week 5! GG4 finished week 4 on a rough note, she drooped hard overnight from 07/15 into 07/16, I'll will feed her an extra 1 liter of water + nutes this week, to prevent this from happening again. Aside from the early drying out, bud sites continue to develop nicely and she's got a good smell to her now as well as stickyness starting to appear.

Watering the autos in solo cups at least once a day by now. Merry Christmas to everyone by the way. Unfortunately my mum has passed yesterday morning at 8:01am, her stage III cervical cancer became stage IV in just 2 months from october to december. Heart is heavy & broken but at least she is resting now. Negative Energy for me to feed on. Sending Love to everyone.
