Alright everyone? So this week I decided to flip her into flower. Hopefully she won't outgrow the tent. I haven't heard very many people using Recipe 420 soil, but I don't have any complaints yet.

A big milestone this week—the Amnesia Haze ladies have officially been flipped to a 12/12 light cycle! After weeks of training and canopy management, it's finally time to let them transition into flower. The SCROG has done exactly what it was supposed to do, creating a wide, even canopy with plenty of tops ready to stretch. Over the next two weeks, I'll continue tucking shoots where needed to keep the canopy as level as possible before letting the colas take over. The plants have recovered well from the recent heatwave and are looking much happier. Fresh growth is vigorous, internode spacing is tight, and the canopy is filling out nicely. The lower leaves still show some signs of previous stress, but all new growth looks healthy and strong. To support the transition into flowering, I increased the light intensity to ~700 PPFD, giving the plants more energy as they begin the stretch. 📊 Stats so far: 💧 Watering: 1.5L per plant every third day 🌡️ Temp: 26–28°C 💦 Humidity: 65% RH 📈 VPD: ~1.25 kPa 💡 Light: ~700 PPFD 🕛 Light Schedule: 12/12

Day 10F-17F (Day 10F) Everything is looking on point. I’m going to soak in a gallon of lite compost tea diluted to 400ppms on each plant except for #5. I’m still a little worried I won’t make it through the stretch but at the same time I fear N toxicity just as much. I will give one more lite tea before the end of stretch, most likely at the end of this week. (Day 12F) Ladies responded nicely to the tea except for BBB#1. It just isn’t looking as vigorous as it was last week. It’s the only one without an air hose so I guess it couldn’t hurt to grab one. The air hose does without a doubt prevent overwatering in soil and I’m surprised I don’t see more people using it. It’s cheap, effective and gives me similar results to growing in pure coco. I’m going to give one more light foliar spray of 3ml of calmag, 3ml of kelp and 2.5ml of insect frass. (Day 14) Got the air hose hooked up to all 5 plants now. I hate that I’ve been forced to defoliate so much in early flower and it is definitely reducing bud size. Last round my bbb’s had pistil clumps twice the size at this time and they were dealing with severe deficiencies. I’m hoping it’s just genetics or the fact they are larger plants. (Day 15) I’m starting to see signs of N toxicity on the some of the new growth and overall growth on all plants except #1 has slowed. It was most likely caused by the foliar spray/tea combo. No more feeding anything for the next 12 days at least. Luckily it’s still pretty early in flower but I know that N tox can hit really hard after the stretch stops. I would be pretty upset if I vegged for 80 days only to get severe N tox in mid flower. Since it’s not breaking down in the soil, I should be fine. I’m going to defoliate some more of the large bottom fan leaves as they hold large reserves of extra nutes I don’t need. Hopefully these small defoliations aren’t stressing them at all. Next round I plan to do a big strip one week before flower, at transplant and a second big strip on day 21. (Day 17) I think I was over-worrying about the seriousness of the N tox. I’ve seen it hit very hard in mid flower and can’t be too careful. It’s almost always caused by water soluble nitrogen so I’ll try to stay away from that unless I absolutely need it. My case does not look to alarming just yet. I noticed the stunting on #3 right after that last tea so I am going to stop giving the last liter of compost tea because of how unbalanced and separated at the bottom it is. It sure helped out the other 4 plants that didn’t get the granulars from the bottom of the bucket. I‘m planning to give a bloom tea around day 26 and a final top dress a few days later. #1 has now out stretched everything else in the tent. I honestly was not expecting that. If #3 didn’t get stunted this whole week I think it would be the taller/heavier plant.

OMG growing Cosmos F1 from Royal Queen Seeds has been an otherworldly experience! I mean, have you ever seen a plant with a Whorled phyllotaxy mutation? Was away for 2 weeks so left my girl to water the plant, wanted to do the training myself. Was underwatered a bit and a lil low on calmag and high on other nutes so adjusted the water and just gave a first proper feeding. Defoliated quite a bit, topped her as well and did some LST. Lets hope she recovers fast and is looking better by next week!

Sie bildet kräftige Babytriebe und schiebt bereits angenehm fette Blätter, weshalb wir beschlossen haben: Zeit fürs erste Topping. Die untersten beiden Triebe mussten direkt ihre Koffer packen und wir konzentrieren uns jetzt auf die zweite und dritte Nodie. Der Plan steht also zumindest schon mal deutlich stabiler als manche Wettervorhersage.Aktuell wirkt sie im Zelt noch etwas klein und verloren, fast wie jemand, der versehentlich zu früh auf einer Erwachsenenparty gelandet ist. Aber wir kennen das Spiel inzwischen gut genug: Erst unschuldig wirken und plötzlich den ganzen Raum übernehmen. Außerdem sind wir diesmal wieder bei biologischem Dünger von BioBizz gelandet. Die Kleine soll schließlich nicht nur wachsen, sondern dabei auch ein bisschen Wellness bekommen. Bisher sieht sie jedenfalls gesund und kräftig aus. Wir freuen uns schon auf die nächsten Wochen und sind gespannt, wie sich die Dame weiterentwickelt. 😘

Bonjour à tous les padawans et maîtres jedis Pour la germination j'utilise la technique du sopalin Pour faire germer vos graines dans du sopalin, vous aurez besoin : Un Tupperware avec couvercle Du Sopalin, ou autre quel papier de cuisine qui soit épais et qui retienne l’eau Un verre d’eau Si c’est l’hiver, vous placerez le Tupperware près d’une Box ou d’un Modem pour donner un peu de chaleur Étapes de la germination: faire germer vos graines de cannabis dans du sopalin La première chose à faire est de tapisser le fond du Tupperware avec du sopalin, 2-3 feuilles suffiront. Si vous ne mettez qu’une feuille, elle captera peu d’eau et pourra sécher, vous mettrez donc plus de feuilles que pas assez. Une fois les feuilles placées, versez l’eau du verre dessus, mais pas trop, juste de quoi imbiber toute la surface couverte par les feuilles. Vous aurez ainsi l’eau suffisante pour faire germer les graines sans avoir besoin d’essorer la feuille de papier. Une fois les feuilles humidifiées, mettez vos graines par-dessus, et recouvrez le tout avec une autre couche de quelques serviettes. Une fois en place, humidifiez cette nouvelle couche. faire germer vos graines de cannabis dans du sopalin Lorsque vous graines seront placées entre les 2 couvertures de feuilles, fermez le Tupperware hermétiquement pour que l’eau reste bien dedans et que l’ensemble ne sèche pas malgré la chaleur. Si vous êtes en hiver lorsque vous mettrez vos graines à germer, ou que les températures sont inférieures à 20°C, vous placerez le Tupperware sur votre Box ou modem jusqu’à germination, mais toujours en évitant le contact avec la lumière. Si vous êtes dans une zone au climat tempéré ou chaud, vous n’aurez qu’à placer le récipient avec les graines à l’ombre dans une armoire ou une caisse de rangement. Toutes les 24h, vous devrez vérifier l’état d’avancement de la germination. Si quelques-unes sont sorties mais pas d’autres, prenez celles qui ont germé pour les planter, laissez les autres dans le Tupperware et vérifier de nouveau le lendemain.

Die letzten Tage waren bei der Papaya Sour Spritz vor allem vom Training geprägt. Nach dem starken Herunterbinden und Formen musste sie sich zunächst etwas sammeln, aber mittlerweile sieht man deutlich, dass sie wieder kräftig weiterwächst. Durch das Training konnten die Triebe schön nach außen gebracht und die gesamte Pflanze deutlich flacher aufgebaut werden. Dadurch bekommen die neuen Seitentriebe mehr Licht und entwickeln sich zunehmend zu eigenen Haupttrieben. Besonders schön zu sehen ist, wie an den einzelnen Nodien überall neuer Austrieb entsteht. Die Pflanze füllt langsam die freie Fläche aus und entwickelt eine deutlich gleichmäßigere Struktur. Die anfängliche Reaktion auf das Training ist inzwischen kaum noch zu sehen – die neuen Blätter wirken frisch und kräftig. Jetzt liegt der Fokus darauf, die vorhandenen Triebe weiter aufzubauen und die Fläche gleichmäßig zu füllen. Kein weiteres starkes Topping geplant. Stattdessen wird weiterhin hauptsächlich mit LST und gezieltem Training gearbeitet, damit möglichst viele Triebe auf eine ähnliche Höhe kommen.

Sorry for the late update, everyone. Thank you for checking out the garden. This lady has absolutely exploded! I am anxious to see how her buds stack up over the coming weeks. She has been drinking and feeding so much lately that I went ahead and bumped her up to 75% nutes instead of just 50%. We will see soon how she handles them. I was getting crazy pH swings (down to 4.4) because of how heavy she had been feeding. With the tap water I have, the new nutes measure about 850-900 ppm, but tap is about 200, so ~700 ppm of actual nutes. Es ist das erste Mal, das ich Töpfe für den Outdoor grow verwende, bisher waren alle Gorilla grows und direkt in die Erde gepflanzt. Sobald die Witterung es zuläßt, sollen die Pflanzen an die frische Luft. Es ist schon eine Weile her, das der Grow losging, die Bilder sind jetzt aktuell. Tag 197: Die drei Großen geniesen die letzten Sommertage an der Sonne bei nahezu Windstille. Der abgebrochene Ast wächst offensichtlich gut wieder an, keine welken Blätter vorhanden. Mit dem Höhenwachstum ist langsam Schluß, die drei Ladys konzentrieren sich auf ihre Blüten. Tag 200: Seit gestern Mittag sind die drei Grazien wieder im Trockenen untergebracht, seitdem hat es 40 Liter/m² geregnet und es regnet weiter.
