This week I noticed that the plant is struggling with the amount of nutrients that I had supplied it with and decided to dial back on them to give her a chance to consume as much as possible. She is growing strong and looks like she will be done soon, she should possibly take another 2 or 3 weeks before getting the chop, I may let her consume herself instead of pouring more nutrients, thinking of starting to add GHE Ripen to get her finishing faster.

Everything going good.. Humidity was a little high so installed a dehumidifier through the wall. Much better now. I got rid of the Gelato it was just bad from jump and then started growing some weird stuff on leaves.. Wasn’t risking the others catching something. But they all seem to be growing good.

Buenos días familia, de nuevo os traigo esta esta 5 semana de floración de nuestras green ak xL de zambezaseeds. Una está algo bloqueada y no quiere comer nutrientes la otra ya va mejor y si come. Ph controlado temperatura y humedad dentro de los parámetros establecidos. Una cepa bastante difícil de dominar muy sensible a los cambios, pero que seguro bien cultivada dará todo de sí, xL su nombre lo dice.

At the beginning of week 2 the plants have grown fine, but also developed some yellow leaf-tips, which I assume is from the amount of light they receive. Therefore I decide to hang the both LED-fixtures higher. The LUMATEK ZEUS PRO 600W is now at 75 cm distance and the two SANlight Q6W-Gen.2 are at 90 cm distance from the top of the clones of CANNALOPE HAZE from DNA-GENETICS. The humidity inside the HOMEBOX-tent is kept permanently at 60% during veg. The grow-controller GROWBASE PRO from GROWCONTROL does a GREAT job in keeping a constant environment inside my growtent. As a precaution I put up some yellow sticky traps against fungus-gnats and also hang sachets with predatory mites from KOPPERT (=Thripex PLUS) on every plant. This will prevent spider-mites and thrips to invest my tent, since the predatory mites will eat them right away. I LOVE BIOLOGICAL TREATMENTS and decide on it every time instead of using chemicals, because I grow my own medicine here and dont want ANY CHEMICALS on my cannabis! 👍😎 At the end of week two I slightly increase the light intensity again, by adjusting the dimmers of my LEDs. The Lumatek is now set to 50% dimm-level and the SANlights are running at 60%. Until now there is not much difference to see between the two sides, all plants are healthy and doing well.

Hello everyone! 🤗 We have more autos from Ganja farmer seeds started today. Purple devil 😈 is a Pakistani cross. I sowed them directly into the soil. The hydroponic ebb and flow system I am using this round is new and is called AirCube from growace. Decided to chop one girl early. If I'm honest I was very worried about the yield, because for the fort half of the flowering it didn't look very promissing but holy cow, just the first plant had 70g on it. I accidentally snapped two main colas in early stage so it would be probably more. However 3 girls are still running for at least a week or two so it looks like I will achieve 200g and probably well over which is awesome. Most importanltly, buds are super dense. Finally! I can't wait to finish with proper flush and curing. Humidity is now at constant 60% and can't really do much about it. Weather outside is also a bit humid, but i'm running 3 fans inside with pretty good extractor fan so hopefully no mould issues this time. I feel like the strain also help a lot. I will probably chop one girl in few days or a week and then the last monster looks like it will be ready little bit later than the rest so I will give it some extra time.

Frostbanger Plants 1-6 Week 12 June 8-14 FLOWER 7 Sadly, my journey with Frostbanger is almost over. This grow started as an unnamed FBA2502 tester strain completely unknown regarding growth habits, size, flavor profile or smoke effect. I used LST on two plants: #1 because she was leaning over so I decided to pin her down immediately. I decided to LST Plant #3 when I saw her nodes were short and stems were tight. To quote Fastbuds “Growers must know that these difficult-to-grow plants will pose specific challenges in terms of environmental control and nutrition” , making them best suited for cultivators with some experience under their belt. I mention this because 2 plants #4 & #5 always looked lighter than their counterparts. Having overfed in the past grows, I did not want to repeat the same mistake, especially when the other plants were lush and green and did not look deficient. I thought it was genetics, but I found out that these two plants probably had nutrient lockout and would have benefitted from a good flush. Overall, I didn’t make mistakes with overfeeding or over trimming. I had to manually control the environment since the ventilation went out. I did pretty good at maintaining a functional environment. Plants #2 & #5 developed pretty reds in their upper buds and leaves probably because of the air conditioner. The A/C brought the night temperatures to 65-68. This week I am flushing with an anticipated harvest this weekend. I did the last plant pictures and videos and trichome shots on each plant. I did preliminary defoliation removing the remaining fan leaves. For most of the sugar leaves I trimmed off the ends leaving the base with all the frost. These are going into the trim bag to be washed into bubble hash. Beautiful flower full of trichomes. Smell and test fantastic. Very fast flowering. She was done on day 49 but I cut her down few days later. I love the strain, the only thing that I will like this strain to have is a better yield. Beast quality buds I ever grew.

Week 5 Flower Stacking Watered in at 800ml Individual Recharge day. Epsom Salt 1tbs to 4l - bought at the local pharmacy.

During week 9 the flowering continued nicely and all plants developed nice flower crowns. Unfortunately I spotted some brown pistils on some plants and at this stage that only can mean they have been inseminated by pollen. Since I have no male plants around I thoroughly inspect the nodes of all plants from bottom to top. I am searching for hidden male pollen-sacks that have grown on my female plants and sure enough I find several ripe and open pollen sacks on three plants. This means those plants ARE HERMAPHRODITES, plants that have BOTH SEXES, they are female plants that also grow male pollensacks...my ABSOLUTE HORROR! The open pollen sacks have released pollen onto the female pistils around them and this turned the pistils brown. Where those fertilized pistils are, seeds will now start to grow inside the buds of my grow. 😢 After spraying water over the plants, in order to neutralize the free pollen inside, I carefully cut off the hermie-plants on the main stem right above the soil and immediately discard them far away from my grow-tent into the trash. Since I spotted the hermies early, I hope my grow will not be fully seeded, but only have a few seeds grow in some buds here and there. My fingers are crossed! My 'CHEESE'-plant from BIG BUDDHA SEEDS has turned a little yellow and developed some dark spots on the leaves, which I attribute to the plant standing alone in a tray now. She seems to be overfed a little and getting too much water to the roots. I therefore take her out of the water for a few days, in order to let the medium dry out a little and let the roots get some air. The SANlight EVO4-120 LED-lights work like a treat. They are now running at 100% dimm-level and are hung 30 cm above the top of the plants. The BIO NOVA nutrients are still given at half strength of the recommended dose and some plants seem to be overfed...I have to keep an eye on them.
