Because of lack of space in some regions of my cultivation area, I simply cannot keep the ideal distance to my Sanlight high-performance lamp, due to some height growth of various strains. And so some of the main colas have ppfd values of 1250 μmol/m2/s and even more... So this is how I manage to achieve and compensate for such high radiation levels even with a CO 2 balance. And I have to say, my strategy to avoid various light stress symptoms works just fabulously. In combination with CO 2 implementation, my babies are simply unbeatably insensitive to light. Thats it! (Light peaks first at the crown of the roof and then slightly continuing to the middle section.) I then painstakingly racked my brains as to why this could be. I found that very slight dry spots had formed and therefore the root found small accumulations of nitrogen that caused its problems. But then, when I carefully homogeneously checked the moisture content in the substrate, the problem evaporated again. However, they had not shown any loss of growth rate during this time. Nevertheless, they developed as expected. They Strawnanas had no problem with that. In the end, I always have a hard time killing them. But I guess that's the way things go. We live and die. She’s still stretching! This week I removed Voodoo Juice, Tarantula and Piranha, and added B-52 and Bud Factor X (never tried this one before). Since the princess loves this 2ml/L dosage for NPK nutes, I’ll not be touching that for the moment. That seems to be the optimal dosage for a sativa like this. Very nice!

10/17/24 Short facts: - Continued with LST - Watered: 1 x 1.2L, 1 x 0.3L, 1 x 1L - VPD @ 0.9 — raised by 0.1 - Light @ 50% ~500 to 560 PPFD - Removed 2-3 leaves --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As promised last week, i made a video and explained the progress so far, and did show you the plant. Not much to report. I continued LST, though I’ve stopped for a few days now since the branches are well spread out, and that should be enough for the time being. The Lemon Cherry Cookies is lacking behind in her development, maybe she got a little bit less light, because she is a little bit smaller than the other two plants.

Last 2 weeks before I put her in a 3 day dark period! I’m no longer giving any nutrients and I’m letting the plant deplete all the nutrients in the soil, I’m also only using water for now own. I have her in a 11.5 hour light schedule. There’s slight nutrient burning too on some parts but it’s nothing drastic.

The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of water to be fed. Day 1 we had high temperature of 89°F. We had scattered thunderstorms and roughly two hours of rain. No watering today Day 2 we had a high temperature of 80°F. The skies were partly cloudy with a healthy breeze. I water 2-2.5 gallons today. Day 3 we had a high temperature of 79 and partly cloudy skies. This cooler weather has been nice. I watered 2-3 gallons each pot once. Day 4 we had high temperature of 92°F. I watered 3-4 gallons from the hose. Day 5 we had a high temperature of 85°F. Skies were cloudy to overcast with off and on rain until noon. Then partly cloudy in the afternoon. I added 50ml of blood meal and 50ml of iron spread evenly across the tops of the pots. Watering was done by rain today. The roots have begun to grow down through the pots into the ground. Because we get high winds this is a bonus. The #1 plant has some small spots of powdery mildew on it today. Day 6 we had a high temperature of 86°F, a short rain shower, with cloudy to partly cloudy skies. Watering done today by the rain. Day 7 we had high temperature of 81°F skies were cloudy to partly cloudy. We had some intermittent heavy rain so everyone was watered by nature today.

10/29 - the injured plants growth has slowed and I'm starting to worry. I will watch it for another two weeks to determine if its worth growing. The second plant is doing well under LST and leaf tucking. Im trying my best to avoid defoliating as I do not like performing this training method. LST method is being further expanded by training the plant to grow in a spiral. Nutrient addition is on every 3rd feed. 10/31 - today marks the 31st day. I'm impressed with the development and growth from these Skywalkers.

This week I started flushing the ice cream cake. I'm looking to flush it for a total of five to six days. The purple punch still looks like it has another week or maybe even two. I'm quite sure my temps are too high for this strain.
