30 September 2020 Sunset Sherbet Plant is growing very strong and the bottom 3 cola branches are being stress trained to all edges of the pot, this helps - with all the branches being exposed to the light and to grow the same height as the rest of the canopy. The stem is of this plant is growing really thick 🍑 about 1cm thick Leaves are big and strong reaching ( 15,5cm length ) My experience with growing Sunset Sherbet so far ( Week 6 Day 2 ) This strain from Cape Ape Seeds is actually so good, just the plant itself is a bright lime green and the nugs it will carry is going to be Frosty Purple❄️💜 nugs. By growing this beautiful strain so far it has grown very healthy and just in general very fast, this plant has no problems so far and all it wants to do is continue growing. Do-Si-Wine The Do-Si-Wine is growing very well, a very moderate growth as it says in it’s subscription, but none the less still a very grow so far. The bottom 4 colas are all stress trained to the edges of the pot to ensure each branch from each cola gets to grow outwards in its own space and to get more light. The stem is about 0.7cm thick which is not that thick compared to the SunSet Sherbet. While writing this I noticed my she has SNAPPED from her previous stress straining session, I was checking out the stem thickness and noticed the main stem had snapped. But luckily this is not the first this happened and I know how to fix this. To fix this all you need is some tape, now see if the plant didn’t completely break off you can still tape the plant back together and the plant should heal itself within a few days, although I need to wait a bit before I stress train this one again. She started making pistols🤗, but I’m not sure if this is because of the snap or if it’s getting ready to start blooming. All the side branches from the bottom 4 colas are all nice and long growing at a nice rate. The leaves are nice and strong reaching ( 11cm in length ) My experience from growing Do-Si-Wine 🎶🍷 from Cape Ape Seed seed bank is very good so far, on the site it says moderate growth difficulty and it is quite accurate compared to the Sunset Sherbet’s easy growth difficulty, it’s quite fun working with a moderate growth because the plant needs more tending to, for instance the side branches are thinnish and need to be stress trained often to reach the end of the pot, the plant is also very stiff because she snapped without me realising and had to tend to the break a day later. Also while growing this plant I noticed that the plant’s leaves are very dark green and the bud it’s going carry is going to be white so I can’t wait to see how she makes her buds.

Last Topping. Now I created 24 tops. No side shoots were so stunted that they needed to be removed. All are growing compactly and uniformly.. After this week I switch to flowering. I once tried growing the same variety for five weeks in a 0.4 litre pot and a 25 litre pot. It's amazing how compact the plant grows in the small pot. This week I only watered them with water and aloe vera. They are growing, but slower than I expected, but that's okay. I think I'll leave them for another two weeks before flipping them for flowering.

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. What an amazing week! The smells coming from these ladies have been incredible! Our Hindu Kush from Sensi Seeds needed some extra defoliation to ensure she receives essential air to avoid wpm (white powdery mildew) she is starting to show her well known purple hues ever so slightly. Our Jedi Code #5 Reeks of Citrues notes, shes beautiful, as is all our ladies here, our Hindu Kush giving a licorice scent, our Garlic Cookies smelling Gassy as ever as is our Banana Kosher Kush from Mutant X Genetix, his Strawberry Amnesia Haze is also giving petrol aromas all throughout. Our Wet Og seems to not have given her scent yet...we await the outcome.

Removed the last lower leaves for good lighting, thereby redirecting energy to flowering, gave a finishing form to the bush at the beginning of the week, no more LST) began to pour water with low temperature to create an atmosphere of cold autumn, well, the harvest is near, we are waiting for 8 weeks!

week intel: its time to harvest top buds! because my base nutrients and one of boosters was salt based, i'll do flushing this week to get some relieve to plants in the last days stresses : flushing Drought stress via watering only one time with flushing this week feeding: day 1 : i flushed them with Advanced Nutrients Flawless finish and adjusted ph day 3 : no more feeding from now on day 5 : no more feeding from now on guide of the week : i harvest in 2 parts : first i harvest top of the branches and will let the lower buds to ripe another week then ill harvest the second wave. its crucial to get uniformed buds in terms of quality that you let the lower buds to get some extra air and especially light! then the pop corn buds quality will reach the top buds. my dry and cure style is this: 3 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 3 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. im happy as hell with this harvest :D.

Plant #1 :45.52 G Plant #2 : 32.68 G Plant #3 : 43.12 G Sample before harvest : 4.16 G Total 125,48 G I'm happy with the quantity, i know it's not a lot for 250W, but with my setup, and my knowledge, i'm pretty happy with that, i am especially happy cause of the quality, it's dope ! the plant #2 gave me a bad yield. Buds was a but aery, not compact like the 2 others. I don't think it's a genetic problem, i've made mistake on her, and she was the one with the less light, a bit late since the beginning, etc etc.. but she is good ! she is like the #3 but not compact. For the cut i removed big leaves and big sugar leaves, and head down. It was ready to cure after 8 days, i'd like it to be slower but they are already wonderfull after almost 1 week into curing, so it's great 😎 I'm pretty lucky to have 2 realy differents phenotypes, this is so good ! Pheno #1 is realy like a concentrate of lemon, and realy sweet, sugary. She is strong ! Like a 50% High / Stone, totaly stunted. Pheno #2 smells like strawberry, like a strawberry yogurt. She taste more like sugary / fruits and earthy. She is my favorite, best looking, best smoking, best smell, best everything ! This is a plant to try, for sure ! Thanks to anyone who helped me !
