Week 5

Week five!!!! Ok guys, So I waited way too long to flip LMFAO. I hope I have made it through most of the stretch and as you can see I may be able to get the lights 8 more inches up to the ceiling in an emergency but let's hope it doesn't get to that point. I have reduced the Base nutrients and added 2 additives. A big problem I noticed today 13 Jan was that the water pump was moving hella slow. I had to wait a long time to add each nutrient so that I didn't just burn the first plant in the system. I have 2 pumps in the mail though so we are good. Humidity will spikes maybe 3x but I always bring it back to 50% RH. For the next round, I'm going to have to be really aggressive with my training techniques. these things just get huge so fast and I wasn't ready for a 10-week flower cycle. oh due to the pump issue don't trust the TDS amount this week. I'm sure you could ballpark it and I know my system will never go over 1k TDS with everything I'm running currently.

So im retroactively uploading this after some phone issues the weeks may not be 100% accurate but the content is! did some cloning a while back (round1) and i got a little too comfortable with minimal roots showing and only 8 of the 15 survived. about 2-3 were very small and objectively should not have been attempted one will not survive due to a stoner error in leaf cutting. i've learned in this field patience is key and learning is essential. I made some mistakes, and dont plan on making again

Aug 17: great plant. Hit 30 C today, and there was a two minute hail storm late in the day. It sounded very impressive on the roof, but I had moved the pot plants up against the house and they were fine. The rest of the garden took a mild beating. Aug 18: rained all day. Aug 20: sunny yesterday and most of today. Watered with some Kekp extract in the evening. Flowering is progressing and we’re still in mid August so things are looking good. Aug 22: don’t take flash pics of photoperiod plants unless you’re immediately using a 730 nm far red light to put them into dark mode. Aug 23: looking good for the end of another diary week. This Gorilla Cookies is definitely the fastest flowering of the four plants I’m growing this year.

7/3/22 I was a little rushed today, and didn’t have the chance to take any new pics for todays log entry. 🤷 It’s not like I’m not going to add a bunch more photos later in the week. This week we’re starting with the Mid-Bloom, step 3 nutrients on our feed chart. I mixed two separate gallons to feed my 4 girls as usual. Each plant received half a gallon of water with the following: CALiMAGic - 2 ml FloraMicro - 4.7 ml FloraGro - 3.8 ml FloraBloom - 8.5 ml Floralicious Plus - 2 ml Liquid KoolBloom - 2 ml Each of the 2 gallons had a pH of 6.4, and wasn’t adjusted. My tap water has been exceptional lately! Each of the plants had plenty of runoff with the following pH level: #1 & #3 - 5.9. #2 - 6.1. #4 - 5.8 My girls are super tall, and have bodes all over the place. They are all developing nice pistils everywhere, and should each yield quite a bit. I’m looking forward to watching them mature! Happy 4th of July to all of you in the USA 🇺🇸! Independence Day!! Happy growing everyone! 7/5/22 These 4 Ladies are going to be the death of me, I swear! I know you all HAVE to be sick of reading about their growth, but damn! These bitches could be super models! I last measured them on 6/29/22, and was astounded then by their growth. Now, I’m just blown away. Since 6/29/22: #1 has grown 12 inches, and is now 55 inches tall. #2 has grown 11.5 inches, and is now 54 inches tall. #3 - 12.5 inches, now 49 inches tall. #4 - 14.5 inches, now 51.5 inches tall. I had to do some mild LST today. I tied a bunch of the branches on #1 & #2 today. Loosely, but closer in in order to improve stability, and open up space in my tent. Some of their branches have become so long that they are being pulled apart by gravity. I used some rubber coated, malleable metal poles to tie loose circles around branches, and then wrap the other end around the other branches on the opposite side. I also defoliated #1 & #2. It’s not pretty, but it seemed to work. I need to do the same to the other two, but time, and supplies didn’t cooperate. Enough about the maintenance. Let’s get to the feeding. We’re keeping with the mid-bloom nutrients mixed into a pair of gallons full of water. The pH of both gallons measured at 6.4. #1&2 share 1 gallon, and #3&4 share the other. Each gave back plenty of runoff with the following pH levels. #1 - 5.9 #2 - 6.1 #3 - 6.0 #4 - 5.8 The tent was 83F, with humidity at 65%. I’m hoping the adjusted fan helps with the humidity, and I also hope my girls react well to being tied up. Happy growing everyone! 7/7/22 Today, Stella’s Cuatro ended up getting the same treatment as their mother. Each of them were the recipient of some serious High Stress Training (HST). All of them have super long branches that were making them almost unmanageable, so I got to taping and bending branches today until nearly all of their branches had been bent over 90*. Sorry for the asterisk, but I didn’t have a degree icon to use. Bending their branches made space in the tent to some degree as well. They don’t look so crowded anymore, but later on I’m going to have the same issues that I’m having with their mother now. Branch weight! It seems silly to complain about all the time, but damn they are all huge plants! I know that some of you may be thinking that you’d probably rather stay away from this cultivar, but that would be a mistake. I bitch, and moan a lot about these plants, but regardless of the headaches they give me, they are still absolutely wonderful plants. They grow strong and healthy regardless of what I do to them. They develop ginormous buds, and the effects of this cultivar are still my all time favorite. They are resilient giants that produce a lot of bud! The first cultivar I ever grew was this one, DarkStar, and 1 plant produced almost half a pound of top shelf bud after everything was dried and jarred up. I’m looking forward to another wonderful haul from these 4, their mother, and another 2 younger siblings.” Each plant received 1/2 gallon of solution with a pH of 6.5. Each has sufficient runoff except #3. She didn’t have any runoff. The others were as follows: #1 & 4 - 5.8 #2 - 6.0. The tent was 83.3F, and humidity was 56%. Life is good. Happy growing everyone!

Tok off large fan leaves on day 24. Seeing preflower starting. Decided to try out a natural shape instead of doing LST. I hope this doesn't backfire... The blackberry gum on the right is getting big. I like how autopotamus has natural shape... But he also has much more light haha

Hello. This is the end of week 6 and the beginning of week 7 of veg. I meant to repot these girls last week and I've been a day behind all week. I've got the pots washed and the soil mixed but just didn't get around to repotting them. I'll get it done tomorrow. They look a little wilty because I turned the light on to take these pics and they were asleep. OK. Have Fun. Chuck.

Time to give this P2000 a secont run, and in it i will run a single clone that i took from my previous run, i took one from each phenotype and from them i chose the one i like the most in terms of plant structure , terpene profile and in the end smoke test also, that one is the most important one lol and the one with the most value on my decision, saying this dont judge me on this hahahaha i kind a forget it in the corner and now its time to bring her up to her full potential. I started by transplanting her from her tinny pot to a 25 L one , had to the soil 100g of All in one Pellets, a touch of microbial life and some Mycor to the roots and ready she is, gave them a foliar feeding with APTUS HOLLAND nutrispray and gave them a full feeding with the on the water sine the pallets will take a couple days minimum to start breaking and becoming available for the plants to take, i will let her adapt to it all for now and then i will star training her to became a tiny ginormous beautiful lady best, covered in trichomes and smelling like pines falling out of pine trees in the middle of the woods. As for the PAR department for now i am giving them 600 PPFD and running my VIPARSPECTRA P2000 @ 69% Looking at them an i decided that it was a good idea to start some training going on in this girl, so i gave her a new look and lets see how she goes from here, i spray them again with APTUS HOLLAND Nutrispray to help thing move faster . And they are coming back to life , in just a couple of days i can notice that they love the fact that im giving them my love and attention Is it just me or they are bouncing back fast af ? Not complaining at all hehehe , did some more training today, if they keep evolving like this i will be able soon to start taking leafs and selecting what to keep and what have to go. Nice growth in vegetative stage considering I'm using a hps lamp.. Starting to branch out nicely after topping after the 5th node.. Cut the first branches off at the first true leaves so left 8 main growth points.. First round of lst completed, just using wire to flatten out the branches.. defoliated the main stem of all the shade leaves.. Will adjust again as the plants go into preflower.. Will also keep trimming off all the lower branching as I want all the energy going in to 8 buds per plant.. some of those trimmed branches will become clones as the next round I will be running SOG and growing 16 plants in 11L pots.. Sixth week of flowering, everything is going well, it has a very strong sweet citrus smell

Germinated for 24 hours in a glass of water, 48 hours in a paper towel and then I planted them into biodegradable seedling pots. Northern Lights looking a bit ahead of the Dosidos seeds but that was expected I’ve grown Northern Lights before and they sprout real quick. One of the Dosidos’ first true leaves is looking a bit wonky but we’ll see how it goes I suppose.
