****** Week 8 Flower, November 7 to 13, 2020 ****** Hey Growmies......winding this run down........they are ripening this week and next.......this is the second week of flush. Lights are down and temps are down to mimic fall. Just lots of plain RO water this week......keep flushing out the media👍 One is growing spears......the other is growing bats😂👍 So much fox tailing that there will be a good mixture of trichomes at different stages of ripening.......should make for good smoke! Trichomes are continuing to come out more and bud swelling has continued,👍 That’s what I have for a quick update gang........as you can see they are by themselves in the tent now......these girls have more Sativa in them and taking a little longer to finish......better for me with trimming as well🤪😃🙏

The pre-flower is just starting and they are putting on good growth. One of the plants doesn't have the same vigour as the other, but it is still doing well.

Switched to GH flora 3 part. Playing around with flood times. The are taking up water at an exponential rate. Started with 3, 3 minute floods, up to 6, 4 minute floods and they're still drying up the puddles within an hour. Plant 1 is ahead of plant 2 by a day but it is half the size🤷‍♂️ Topped day 16. Not obvious in the photos as I had hoped but they bounced back within minutes Thank to evryone who gave their input, every little bit helps🙌 After all your suggestions, I've, backed off the light, backed off the flood time and count. We will see if these girls perk up a little more👍 Day 17 I noticed progression of what I believe to be a calcium deficiency? That's on me, forgot the calmag originally🤦‍♂️ another thing I decided to look into was the twisting of the leaves as the plant 1 is also starting to show. Could my ph be alot higher than I think? 4 gal res I added a couple ml of phosphoric acid at the start and about 1ml a day since(I didnt prep my cube as well as I should of) seems like alot to me. The system would rise from 5.3 to 6.3 throughout the day. A flood cycle doesnt seem to affect the ph, more over time. I am constantly stirring the mix and no my meter is not yet calibrated. I have ordered what I need but I'm considering calibrating with the chemicals I have and doing a res change. Good news is, they do seem a little more lifelike after implementing all your suggestions. Okay drained and rinsed my res, ro water into the tank was holding 6.97ph, good enough for the girls I go out with🤷‍♂️ gonna mix up a batch, do a top feed to waste, and see what happens. It has been nearly 24h since my last flood. Also, struggling with lows of 30% humidity sometimes. Dont know if that plays a role here. Okay something was off.. I did a top feed to waste with fresh 5.3 nutes and the runoff came out at 7.5.. so I did it again...and again...maybe a half doesnt times to each block with no change. I started to reuse the runoff as I wrote off the batch at this point. I then switched to a pump and did recirc feed to each block aprox 20 litres at a time, stopping to rebalance. Literally 100s of litres later I am stable at 5.5....going to drain rinse and refill. The interesting part is that what ever was saturated in those blocks is non conductive, the ec didnt change the entire time🤷‍♂️ Spent the next couple days recovering. Looking better now. Sardine catcher installed.

OK, im doing an update now becouse my breakup cake is going tranny!!(hermie) I already have noiticed she was not growing as strong .. but u can blame that on anything , especially when growing outdoor.. but this morning i saw that she was g(r)oing 'bananas'!😢 I have put her aside from the rest (in the back of garden) but think gonna have to terminate her asap!..(and i will, right after this post👍) The weed she will give will be filled with seeds and those seeds will be hermies too, so wothless.. and if i dont throw her away quick she can infect the rest. So goodbye breakup cake..😢 who wants to eat a cake when they are breaking up anyway..😒 (just hiding my pain with lame humour 😳) happy growing for all ✊

Oct 19: warm October continues and this plant will be harvested in a few days. Three days with snow starting 3 days from now so that’s it for the season. Drilled a couple of holes in the trunk. Idea is to stress the plant to spur trichome production. Did this before and not entirely sure it helps, but why not? Oct 20: these buds are getting stinkier and frostier just in time for the season here to end. Smell was quite noticeable this morning so I’ve bumped it up to Strong. All the buds are looking fairly frosty too so this Gelato is finishing strong. 👍👍 Oct 21: harvest day because in two days, Monday, it will be below zero all day and likely snow. Oh well, a longer than expected season allowed this gelato to finish fairly well. Trichomes are still white, and actually I rarely see amber trikes on my plants and I think that’s due the weak sunlight here in the fall. My best option here is to aim to harvest by the end of September. This plant was not billed as being fast flowering so I expected it to be a bit slow, plus it is a sativa pheno, so I feel lucky that it has finished as well as it did. The weather here was definitely good for cannabis this year with the only real hassle being wildfire smoke.

Day 36 : I did LST again plants are growing quick. I set the lamp approx 26 cm away. 600 W LED, 20 hours on 4 hours off the same with ventilation humidity approx 60 percent. Ferlizitaion will continue the same way Monday Wednesday and Friday BioBizz family and Tuesday Thursday and Saturday bat gunao and Epson salt. Water intake 100 ml per day per plant. Day 39: Pre-flowers are coming BlackBerry Kush is getting purple ❤️. All of them started flowering and colas are coming out. Day 41: All of them have pre-flowers and pistils are out. BlackBerry Kush started turning into Purple. She and LSD-25 are the most developed. I did more LST on them.

This week went very well, I was finally able to get the second toppings done today on day 35. I am hoping to get the final 4 toppings done in about a week or a week and a half, and then Give her a couple more weeks in Veg before I flip the lights. She is definitely not growing super-fast, but she seems to be growing nice and thick and sturdy with tight internodal spacing, which is exactly what I am looking for. d.50 a few spots appeared on the leafs. gave a 10 ml dose of bio p k and waiting a week before giving a dose of orgatrex and bactrex edit: d.50 i also gave 0.5 ml of calmag from Biobizz edit d.53 will i be giving her the orgatrex and bactrex treatment ✌️🌞 d.53 she got 20 ml orgatrex, 1g of bactrex and 0.5 ml of biobizz calmag d.54 added scrog and did lst with clips to even out the height and space… still need to adjust it.

Another good week. Knock on wood. The plants responded very well to drop in the nutrient level. This is the first and second week of the flower cycle. And starting to get some white hairs. They are girls! I decided they needed a haircut and did some major defoliation today. There’s some pictures before and after.

Her scent is incredible, something sweet. The buds developed quickly, and now appear to be getting fatter. Let's see what these last 4 weeks of flowering will be like. 12/12 from the beginning, left it with an acceptable size, but in the next cultivation I will start LST ties from earlier, to make better use of the light. Let's see the difference.

Beginning of week.. They are happy and healthy.. Feeding every other watering this week with half a dose of CALiMAGic and half a dose of FloraMicro.... Adding in some Floralicious Plus along with the MYCO+.. Not on the nutes list here so I'm just adding it in here.. Mid week... They are lookin good.. Been watering daily.. Gonna try to see if I can get away with every other day.. They got a good, late watering today so they should be good for 48 hours in between waterings.. This medium has ALOT of Springtails.. Those fuckers are really getting annoying.. They dont seem to hurt the plants (as far as I can tell).. But when you're seeing literally probably 100,000 every day in the runoff.. I'm a little nervous of any issues to arise. But so far the plants are looking great.. Growing.. Happy.. Healthy.. 😁 End of week.. Whoops.. Didnt get a chance to take any pics.. Grow diary 11 stage 8 Day 71 to 80 She doing her thing. Have managed to get a bit more light to her. Probably 2 weeks before she is moved out to finish on her own. Wish all the others in this grow had grown like this one.
