First attempt LST tie down stems on Gelato 41. I decided to try lst on Gelato 41 since she charged out of the gate full force and was taller than the other sprouts. From the side view, the node structure is very close. I thought since she was shooting up so quickly, there would be more space between them. Week4 I was using thin wire pins for the last. I had to switch to 1/2 garden pins to hold down the stems. As you can see she is very short and bushy. The tight node Structive is indicative of indica dominance. Lots of leaves. Looks like an afro hair do. Pic 5/24, 5/27, 6/2. Put mirrors under the canopy to add more light 6/5. Start week 5 water feed. Check pins as her stems are strong and push the pins up. 6/7 water & feed 6/9 water & feed 6/11 water & feed 6/13 water & feed light deformation 6/16 1 gal flush Gelato 41 She's the last gal in the tent to start flower. Nothing yet. 6/25 pics 6/26 took her out of the tent today and put her outside. She is one of my Afro girls. I See flowers today. 2 months after the seed popped the soil. I thought she was an auto but maybe fast photo. I will say that she is very bushy. Because of the LST, she has an even canopy with at least 20 or more tops. 7/9 pics. She has acclimated to outside very well. It's hot and humid and we have had lots of rain. Her colas have shot up in bud formation. This plant has thin leaves.much different from most other strains I've grown 7/12 more pics showing LST tie down and bud development 7/22 more pics 7/30 outside girls.

Looks like she might have another week left started flushing this week.

1/10 Week 9! Tara is just turning into a beast at over 3 foot she is taking over and the light is 5 inches from max height... hello super-cropping if I cant bend and secure the tall ones down some. Giving Tara as much room as possible and alternating between Cal-Mag and Magnesium Sulfate (Epsom salt) foliar feeds just to cover the bases as the rapid growth seems to be causing slight def. Defoliated both plants a good bit today, Ripley more so than Tara as that is just the leafiest dam plant. Upping feed to the high end see how they handle it, shifting feeds to mornings rather than lights on in evenings for my convenience. So they will get two feeds rather close together to make the adjustment. Since the next two grows are photos and the light schedule will be "on" at 6AM this is what needs doing. 1/14 New pics Defol Ripley further, never seen so many leaves. Only two plants in tent so lots of room for Tara which really needs to stop stretching NOW. 😅 1/15 Pic Bend and secure on highest branches on Tara lowered her about 3" so dropped lights 2" could not justify super-cropping in flower. Ripley looking damn good

It’s a nice grow so far in terms of expectations reality on the seed breeders. Great stuff again. I had a real germination nightmare this time around though - lots of strains failing at seedling so the numbers and strains became more 😂. So the tents are mixed up again to auto on one side and photoperiod on the other. In this tent as well as Afghan and a red gorilla - there is sweet zensation , banana krumble and red hot cookies and a peyote skittlez. Water in using ro solely through the grow. There has been one issue. I tried a “pro” substrate from biocanna this time and I have those little fleas. Really annoying and my aphids are late so kind of annoying - takes the pleasure off a bit. Any good organic solutions let me know please on comments

The plants are ready to be chopped and hung for 3-5 days. I removed all the fans leaves and left them all branches on the main stem. The ladies smell so strong I can wait to see how they turn out when they are dried and cured. 1) I plan to hang them for 3-5 days @ 71 f and 50-55 RH, 2) Do a final tight trim 3) Than I will move them to jars and cure for 2-3 weeks I will update the diary with harvest pictures & weight before I move them to the jars for curing. I think the seeds might have got mixed up when packing because these three plants were all supposed to be the same and you can clearly tell from the pictures that they are not.

Week 6 of flower about another 2 to 3 weeks to go . Buds are forming Nicely but I’ve been a little heavy on the nutrients so I’m trying to remedy that .

He who stops is lost, as an old saying goes I don't know exactly what the origins are, so here's a new Zamnesia season. We are in the middle of winter and despite growing in an area that isn't the warmest in Europe, it's really cold now. It's 16-18 degrees Celsius in the house and we need to bring the temperature of the propagator growbox between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius. So we first placed a layer of those 1 cm thick "rubberized" floors that are used for gyms, they are easily found on Amazon and are very useful for insulation. Then a heated resistance mat and then the closed propagator on top. Inside with our seedlings and the light on at minimum 20% we reached 24 degrees, not bad in fact the germination is proceeding very well. 100% opening of the seeds in water and almost all of them are opening in our biodegradable peat pots. ----- Our Green Cure F1 Hybrid Auto are growing fast at the time of the photos one was born now it seems that the second one is coming out. We need some CBD in our diet, we overdo it a bit with THC we use it to not go too crazy and not have the symptoms of excessive use of THC. We really like the genetic line and the fact that they are f1, let's go! It is a CBD Sativa Dominant strain that will probably be sent to our friends at AWC for the CBD category, let's see how it comes out... WARNING: Placenta Problems ---- ALWAYS look very carefully at the seedlings, if the seed or the placenta prevent the opening of the cotyledon leaves the plant dies after a while. Remove it delicately as if it were a condom or almost. I apologize for the example but it gives the idea, remove slowly and delicately please. WARNING: If you choose biodegradable pots, choose the largest ones possible and not paper/cardboard ones, they are made of peat which is the main component of most of the soils we use. If you want to avoid transmitting vibrations to your neighbors, I recommend installing one of these gym floors under your growboxes, I did it and I also feel safer not to disturb. They are easily found on Amazon in different thicknesses, I took a gym model that is assembled like a puzzle, they are also found in children's shops, they are those floors that are assembled to make children play safely, or to train and to avoid vibrations from equipment or of any kind. Day 49 Everything stayed same. They really starting to sink.

This week went great, the ladies grew and filled out a lot and are stretching a little now. All healthy and happy. One Afghan kush plant went from veg to flower to veg and monster cropped with crazy growth. Can’t wait to see how that one turns out. Happy Growing y’all 🔥💨✌️🏼💚

New environment set up will be transplanting into bigger pots Friday then watered in. Day 25 - Today I transplanted them in to 12.5l super air pots and moved them to there new home fed them ph’d balanced water only and will leave till Monday again as the coco has added charge and I’ve seen good results when potting on in the past :). I also activated the exhale Co2 bags to maximise photosynthesis. - I leave the lights on 25% for the first couple days so they and raise over the 3 week of vegetative growth. Day 27 - Gave them a little trim removing and large fan leaves covering bottom branches as I don’t like removing main branches so try to get them to come thru as early as I can, won’t touch them from now till 1 week before the switch when I’ll top and defoliate. They will be on same nutrients now till the switch aswell watering as and when they need it.

Leaf scaring getting worse but seems to have stopped progressing. Buds look amazing and can't complain about tricome production.

The end of the fourth week. Only 2,5 to 3 weeks to go, since this is the FAST version of Gelato 33 by Advanced seeds. Last week temps were better, so that was a lot better to manage. The smell is a different story. We are trying to combat it as we speak with a double filter which my friend still had from a previous grow. The ladies are performing, however, because this is a monstercrop with many budsites, none of them will be very big. We anticipate a lot of cutting come harvest time. The stickieness and smell (cookies, dough, herbs, spices, gingerbread, vanilla) promise a lot to make up for that hopefully!! The middle plant that seemed to go fastest, now looks like to have the hardest time flowering. Her more advanced stage of flowering as a bigger clone, made it harder for her to return to veg, which she never really did. This seems to make her want to rush to the finish, as she is already browning the pistils. Also these buds seem more flakey, popcorny. As if the many flowers and grapelike bundled growth was too much for her. I put the light a little closer, to help her fatten up in the time she is given. I never expected the two 'runts' to outperform the mighty middle clone, but hey seem to fatten up and age much more nicely. So for now, prelimenary tip: make sure all your plants are completely revegged before flowering and consider that faster flowering species might have some ruderalis ancestry that might siderail all your lighting intentions and remains in flower what ever the growers lighting schedule. So with at least two more weeks for the two outer plants, and well see how many for the middle one, we are going to make them as comfortable as possible the final push of this flowering.
