Week 2: The adjustment Hello dear growers and groweresses, it’s time for an update on my grow. My plants have completed the second week and have continued to grow. But they also faced some challenges that I will tell you about. The adjustment My plants have adapted to the new conditions in my room this week. I realized that I had my lamps too close to the plants and that they got too much light and heat. This resulted in them not developing as well as I had hoped. I therefore hung my lamps higher and reduced the intensity of the light. I lowered the PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density) from 400 to 280, to give the plants a more comfortable environment. The PPFD is a measure of the amount of light that the plants receive per square meter and second. The higher the PPFD, the more light the plants get, but also the more nutrients and water they need. The plants accepted the change very well and recovered quickly. They started to grow stronger again and formed more leaves. They also got a nicer color and look healthier. One plant that suffered a lot was the Frosty Nightmare. She was overwatered and had trouble developing. She was smaller and weaker than the others and had yellow tips on the leaves. I therefore gave her less water and moved her away from the other plants, to give her more space and air. She recovered and grew again. She is still the smallest of all, but she has potential. I also increased the temperature in my room by 1 degree, to give the plants more heat. I set the temperature from 22 to 23 degrees Celsius, which is still in the optimal range for the plants. The plants liked that and showed me that by their growth. I let them vote democratically, by observing the plants and interpreting their reactions. :D The water filter I also want to introduce you to my water filter from Watertrim, which I use for my grow. It is a great product that saves me a lot of time and money and is also better for the environment. The water filter has only two connections: an inlet and an outlet. So it has no waste water, which would otherwise go into the drain. It has different options of the filter, depending on how much water you want to filter and how high the EC value of the tap water is. The EC value is a measure of the electrical conductivity of the water, which depends on the dissolved minerals. The higher the EC value, the more minerals are in the water, which are not always good for the plants. My filter filters at an inlet EC of 1.0 1000 liters, before it needs to be renewed. Since my tap water has an EC of 0.5, I can filter 2000 liters with it, until I have to renew it. That costs about 100 euros and works easily and quickly via the post. The flow is almost 1 to 1 in speed, so no more waiting. I can tap the water directly from the filter and use it for my grow. I use the filter as follows: I tap water at the filter. I pour normal tap water on it, until I have an EC of 0.3. I add fertilizers etc., depending on what the plants need. I check the EC again and adjust it if necessary. I also adjust the pH value, which should be between 6.2 and 6.5, to ensure optimal nutrient uptake. I give the water to my plants. The water filter is really a great product, even if it is not very cheap in the purchase with once of 240 - 390 euros. But it pays off in the long run, as it saves me a lot of work and costs and also improves the quality of my water. u can find it here : https://watertrim.de The outlook I am very satisfied with the result of the second week. My plants have adapted well and recovered from the problems. They have grown further and formed more leaves. They have recovered well and showed a great growth. I am very excited about the next week, where it goes to the repotting and the ladies can try fertilizer for the first time. I will fertilize this run only a little late, even if I use osmosis water this time. The soil from BioBizz is really great and can carry the first weeks well alone. Looking even better this week. Turned lights off for, 48 hours, started 13 hours, did a light defoliation beginning of this week and will do another after first week of flower after she stretches a bit

Growing it was straight forward. Very resistant to temp changes, loved every bit of nutrients I gave her. Buds have turned out beautiful and harvesting 4.5 ounces dry on one plant is always nice

It's drinking a lot of water, obviously because of its huge size, smaller doses of nutrients to go little by little, the shape of the tall buds, they're much more resinous with this update, I'm hoping for more time with this one due to its size and little light.

Arranca la semana con una solución más cargada y las plantas atadas al limite. No puedo imaginar lo que deben ser las raíces. Pero hasta ahora la solución está siempre limpia. Los EMRO están funcionando a la perfección. Espero que empiecen a formarse bien las flores. Día 17. Empezó el engorde. El estirón frenó. Ahora voy a esperar que las flores empiecen a tomar forma para luego hacer una defoliación y el último guiado, y así dejar todas las flores con una exposición a la luz de forma pareja. Estoy bastante contento y satisfecho con lo que vengo observando. Día 20. Hice una defoliación de las hojas superiores. Cómo solamente tengo hasta 3 nudos debajo de la cabeza con flores, saqué las hojas grandes de arriba que hacían sombra a las flores bajas. De esa forma las flores de arriba desarrollan un poco más las hojas pegadas a las flores, pero no tanto como para hacer gran sombra. Y las flores del 3er nudo, se siguen alimentando de las hojas grandes que dejé. Este corte lo hice hace años en un SCROG de critical mass, y obtuve muy buenos resultados. Ahora a esperar el tan preciado engorde. Día 21. Las flores ya empiezan a ganar volumen camino a su formación. Se las ve cambiando día a día. Por el momento sólo puedo agradecer que no ha habido inconvenientes. La solución se mantiene increíblemente limpia, siendo que por el volumen y amontonamiento de raíces que debe haber en los caños, debería haber aunque sea algo. Pero las EMRO vienen haciendo su trabajo bastante bien, así que fue una excelente inversión, y bastante accesible en precio. Mañana arranca la 4ta semana. Espero que sea una semana de grandes avances.

Nutrient deficiency? or over feeding nutrients? Normally feed 3days nutirents 1 day ph water messed up my feeds which made me feed nutrients for 4 days instead of my intended 3days which may of caused yellow tips. only on a couple of the leaves i (THINK) i might of caught pretty early Flushed with ph 5.9 water saturday 18-1-25 as of 19/1/25 24 hours later no signs of it getting worse or on any other leaves decided to cut big fan leaves of to try and direct the growth more to the nodes going to leave it an hour or 2 to see how she reacts to what ive done then if all is good i shall feed with nutrient Nutrient mix 5litres H202 2.5ml Silicate 3g Calmag 5ml Micro 5ml grow 5ml bloom 4ml Ph 0.1ml 22-1-25 no feed for two days to see how it holds up..(Its holdin up) last feed was 20-1-25 just some light LSTand defoliation today on 22jan just to keep all branches around the same level the banana cookies that was planted same time seems to be a bit behind and is not on the same path

Agora já estamos com ela na oitava semana de floração, ela continua se desenvolvendo em novos pistilos e cada vez mais se aproxima de um fruto maduro. Hoje ja posso dizer que o resultado seria bem satisfatório, se fizesse a colheita, mas vejo que ela tem potencial pra estender o ciclo até a décima semana. Estou me programando para colher daqui oito dias.

Last big feeding before I start to flush. It looks like the blue dream is not gonna make it. I will pull it out and make room form my vegetable garden seedlings. I might as well use the light that's all ready on, I have some tomato and pepper plants sprouting as we speak. Back to the Buddha I have a concern about the Think different that it might get bud rot from being so dense and only one cola. the FAST BUDS 420 Genetics are impressive. I think on the next run I will get a better yield as I will have a record of their veg and flower times accordingly. I can really dial in the feeding schedule. The Carmelicious is really doing well they are all starting to smell sweet and fruity. My target harvest day is 1/20/20 a little over 2 weeks from now I will give them there last CAL MAG / SILICA PH 6.0 watering today 1/5/20 as the pots have dried out from the last Big Feeding. They will eat up what ever is left in the coco this week and the flush with the Clean Fruits From GREEN BUZZ Nutrients will be all that is left for the last weeks. I will be Dope Scoping the Trichomes in 2 weeks 90% cloudy 10% amber, this will be my harvest window indicator. I hope to see the fan leaf fade starting next week that way I will no that the food is gone from the coco and that plant will start using its reserves. Until next time, a toast. Cut down last night. Must admit im pretty chuffed with how well this plant has grown. My set up being as small as it is ( L x W x H, 70 x 40 x 60cm) attempting to grow quality, quantity is not my priority, but i feel my efforts have been rewarded with both. Awesome strain, sativa highs with an indica growth pattern? How good. Will post the dry weight after 3 weeks. Fuck yeah 🤙

Transplanted into 7 gal cloth pot with kis organics biochar soil amended with olly mountain fish compost, wow mycorrhizal, DTE insect frass, local worm castings, DTE seabird guano, DTE bat guano, and mother earth pumice. Top dressed with a tiny bit of DTE acidifier. Did a mojor defoliation, some minor pruning, and some LST. Let's watch those flowers grow!

This week marked the start of the flowering phase as the light cycle was switched to 12/12, officially initiating bloom 🌸 For the first few days the plant continued normal vegetative growth, with the stretch becoming noticeable after about 3 days. By the end of the week the plant had already gained noticeable height and the early stretch phase was clearly underway. • Stretch beginning after ~3 days • Canopy mostly even with only one branch slightly leading • First few white pistils visible toward the end of the week Light intensity was increased to ~750 PPFD ☀️ and the fixture was raised slightly to maintain proper distance as the plant began stretching. Watering increased slightly as the plant entered the flowering transition: • ~3L every 2–3 days based on pot weight 💧 Feeding this week: • 1x BioTabs Bio PK • Otherwise water + BioBizz CalMag Environment remained stable: • ~25°C temperature • ~55% RH 🌡️ The plant remained healthy with balanced structure and deep green foliage. The topping from earlier veg clearly paid off, as the canopy remained fairly even going into the stretch phase. Overall this week marks a smooth transition into bloom with the first signs of stretch and flower initiation 🍩🔥

Day 78: watering 2 gal of ph water a few amber trichomes on some buds extended night cycle to 20/4 Day 82: trimmed off most fan leafs hung up to dry have a humidifier to keep it 50-60% and the temp will be 50-70°F smells super good again. Day 88: put into jars havent trimmed yet about 12 to 15 grams in each jar and there 12 jars so im guessing about 4 oz total after trimming Finished trimming finally have been curing for 8 days dank smell more and more everyday. Ended up with a dry weight of: 4.39 Oz Smoked 1 test joint and tasted alot like a dryer sheet. 31.45 grams of trim I will make into wax
