Done the first round of training this week, they're also showing some dificiences but I corrected them with some Grow and CalMag. The difference between the Big bang and Auto Banana Blaze is showing with how quickly they're reacting to nutrients. Banana was way quicker just a few days till I saw some resaults. With the Big bang it takes a week.

The increased CO2 allows plants to thrive at higher temperatures, which in turn necessitates higher humidity to maintain the ideal VPD for healthy growth and transpiration. 80F -5F = 75F LST with 70% RH = 0.72 kPa. Higher temperatures and humidity promote rapid growth, nutrient uptake, and photosynthesis while maintaining a lower stress level. Temperature influences the rate of enzymatic reactions involved in aerobic respiration. Enzymes, such as those involved in glycolysis, the Krebs cycle, and the electron transport chain, work most efficiently at an optimal temperature range. In low temperatures, enzymatic activity will slow down, thus reducing the rate of aerobic respiration. In high temperatures, enzymes can become denatured, thus impairing their function and stopping the process of aerobic respiration. Glucose is the primary fuel for aerobic respiration. The rate of aerobic respiration increases with the availability of glucose, as it is the starting point for glycolysis. If glucose levels are low, cells may rely on alternative energy sources such as fatty acids or amino acids , but these processes may yield less ATP or be less efficient. To determine this effect, carbon dioxide volume was measured (as carbon dioxide is an output of aerobic respiration) A seed germinated via skotomorphogenesis (in the dark) will generally develop faster in its initial stages to reach light, though it will be etiolated (elongated and weak) and will switch to slower, more robust photomorphogenesis (light development) once it emerges into light. While skotomorphogenesis is a rapid, growth-oriented process for soil escape, it's a temporary phase; photomorphogenesis is a more sustainable development program that prepares the seedling for photosynthesis. 18/6 with the 6 being IR instead of darkness, keeping temps overnight a neat 77F-80F. PPFD overnight 1.8. Think of my tent as a lung. What goes in must come out. When the rate of air going out exceeds the amount of air coming in, it creates a negative pressure. Tent concaves (bends in). If set up correctly, your RH will begin to drop slowly to the desired level you set, and the extraction turns off when it reaches 50% RH. The plant, as it performs cellular respiration, will always be releasing more water into the air, so the RH% of the tent overnight will always increase, so long as oxidative phosphorylation is occurring. As soon as the RH% creeps back up to 55%, the extraction turns back on, over and over, this creates a strong pressure differential which will work wonders on your grow. replicating high and low pressure fronts in nature, critical for oxygen diffusion, but more importantly, full control of your RH%. Moisture will not transfer from a saturated atmosphere to another if that air is already at or above its saturation point, meaning the air can't hold any more water vapor. Once I understood that water is produced as a by product during cellular respiration, specifically at the very end of the electron transport chain (ETC) where electrons are finally transferred to molecular oxygen, the higher the RH of the air, the more resistance there is for more moisture to be added to that environment, and effects the ease with which it does so. But none of that water comes from the pot; it's pulled from the air. If you run high daytime RH, your medium/pot is 100% reliant on transpirational root pull to move water. ZERO evaporation happens across the atmosphere if the tent air has high RH%, the medium cannot release its water through evaporation. Once a canopy develops, light no longer slowly wicks and evaporates from the topsoil. The Soil-Plant-Atmosphere Continuum (SPAC) describes the continuous pathway and process of water movement, driven by a gradient in water potential, from the soil, through the plant's roots, stem, and leaves, and finally evaporating into the atmosphere through transpiration. There is evaporation, there is transpiration, then there is evapotranspiration; Evapotranspiration (ET) is the combined total of two processes: evaporation (water lost directly from soil and surface water into the atmosphere) and transpiration (water released from plants to the atmosphere through their leaves). Evapotranspiration represents the total amount of water that moves from the medium into the air. There is no such thing as a medium with too much water, only a medium that retains too much for too long. The water must always flow efficiently from one atmosphere(Medium) to another(Air) in a timely manner. Moisture is a critical factor for bacterial growth and decay. Dictating how long it's allowed to sit in any one location for any given period is a key preferred control. To ensure a net reduction in a bacterial population, the rate of removal (ET) must exceed the rate of bacterial growth (decay rate), which is often modeled as a growth rate for the specific bacterium under the given conditions. By optimizing daytime VPD, we also optimize conditions for bacterial growth to explode exponentially above 77°F.. If water is allowed to sit in a medium without an escape within a timeframe, nothing good will happen. IF High RH is maintained overnight as well as during the day, placing 100% of water movement at the behest of daytime transpiration, roots can only pull where they can reach, and if soil is compressed above a certain point, moisture will become trapped in a medium with no way of moving day or night. This will begin the countdown for decay to take hold. When water stagnates in a medium, it loses oxygen, creating anaerobic conditions that foster the growth of harmful microorganisms like bacteria and fungi, which can produce toxins and disease vectors. Thigmomorphogenesis, the process by which plants respond to mechanical stimuli like touch by altering their growth and development, resulting in significant morphological changes to improve survival against mechanical perturbations. This complex response involves sensing touch and initiating physiological and genetic responses, leading to changes in form and structure over days or weeks. The process is triggered by physical forces such as wind, rain, or touch. Plants adapt to these stimuli by changing their shape and structure, which may include slower growth, thickened stems, or altered leaf development. Plants possess sophisticated mechanisms to detect even subtle mechanical stimuli and initiate responses. A variety of molecules, including calcium ions, jasmonates, ethylene, and nitric oxide, are involved in signaling these mechanical inputs. Touch can induce the expression of genes that encode proteins for calcium sensing, cell wall modification, and defense mechanisms. A plant exposed to constant wind may become shorter and sturdier. A plant that is touched frequently might grow slower to conserve energy and develop thicker cell walls. These changes increase a plant's resilience and ability to survive in harsh environments. The ladies are still doing great and stacking very nicely! The trichomes on both pheno’s are insane, super dense buds too. The leaves do look very very dark green with slight tip burns, so I dosed down the nutrients slightly from 1100+ to 950 ppm. The grow light makes the leaves look more light green than they actually are (check the night shots). Both plant smell super super sweet, not really blueberry (yet) though.

Decided to give these a few more days, was planning to chop them on day 56 but I’ll let them go till day 60. They have had over a week with no nutrition, just water. Photos taken day 59 of flower, they’re coming down tomorrow!!

The plant is doing fine, the light has been a bit to close to some buds so light bleaching appeared (Light is raised) Getting close to harvest and the plant smells really sour and citrussy, its amazing.

Vamos al lío , las 2 plantas se colocaron en macetas de 0.6 litros y asomaron 2. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 21/24 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. New week starts. ______________ 🌞17.05 I've changed my lights: took off one 100 watt lamp and installed 50 watt red one. Looks like leaf erosion stopped spreading after the last 'extra phosphorus' watering I made yesterday. Now I'll wait till the end of this week to make huge defoliation I planned. Also, I think about second SCROG installing. Frash water spraying today. 🌞18.05 I didn't do a thing. 🌞19.05 Spraying with a frash water. And that's all for today. 🌞20.05 Growing. Defoliation is near. 🌞21.05 I made 'Schwazzing' (huge defoliation) today. It's a first time I do it. Now I'll wait for a few days before watering my plants and see how it goes. Sprayed them with a clean demineralised water. 🌞22.05 Healing. Day ONE. 🌞23.05 Healing.Day TWO. ___________ Week ends.

GTH SEED #1 in training, just super cropped on one side to even conopy. The first site im recording will be a clone,it is on back side of plant and will not produce. #2,#3,#4 pics,#2 is stripped of leaves at about 12 inches. 06/16/18 #4 is showing pre-flowers,#2,#3, no sign yet. #1 check in the morning. 06/19/2018 Still no pre -flowers on #1,#2,#3, #4 however is female so I Fimmed her to encourage side shoots to grow biggest of wider canopy. #1 reacting well to supercropping 20 tops as of today. Praying she is female🙏🙏. She is a stretchy girl in flower 2 to 3 x her vegged height so trying to be low profile as possible.👍

Hi Growmies, This was her last week of heavy feeding. I have already decreased the nutes for the coming week and will probably start flushing her the week after. So that she should be finished by the end of the contest pretty much. Regardless of her age the rootball has shrunk only a little bit. I have also taken her out of the scrog to enable the canopy to open up further and allow more light penetration for the maturation of the buds. This worked actually very well, as the weight of the buds pull the plant open. Thanks for stepping by and until next week!

We are currently working on the recovery from the initial stem split on plant A. She's almost all the way recovered with only a slight crack still remaining. Hopefully that split and the overwatering won't disrupt or stunt the growth of this lady too much. For the sake of experimenting I pulled off the first set of fan leaves that were stunted and discolored in hopes the energy used by the plant will be directed more towards the new growth. Plant C is looking great and loving the increased Par values from our light as we are getting good vertical growth and the main stem is looking super healthy. As we get through to the end of the week we will start transitioning plant A for LST in the form of tie down. The fan is currently applying pretty good stress to the already week stalk of plant A, but she again is almost 100% closed back up. The whole purpose of the fan is to strengthen the stalk with very light stress. Plant C will see LST beginning in 2 weeks as she is 1 week behind Plant A. Many people ask me about the LL on the guage and I will remind everyone, I live in a high climate desert around the 49th parallel so it's cold and dry. When the tent is closed I usually see rh values near 40% where the normal RH (Relative Humidity) is around 10%. It's just dry here. That said the grow community here and the quality of bud is top shelf as it gets. Rh doesn't necessarily impact the end results. End goal is still 360g harvest out of this tent we will see if we get it.

The High intensity was to strong (clearly my fault) in the beginning which stunted her overall stretch, she however still delivered super dense, terpene and trichome loaded buds.

Diary Legend: 💧- Watered 🌱- Seedling 🌲- Cut Down 🍃- Defoliation ✂️- Topping or FIM'ING 🚂- Training (LST) 💩- Fertilized Wk4 11/17/21: Day 22. 🚂The plant had to be readjusted already, so I moved the staple further out, the keep the tip bent over. I will begin training of the lower branches very soon. Two bottom ones out to the back, along with the next row. That way it will be growing the opposite direction of the main colas, and allowing more branches to grow into bud. Deciding to train was a great idea, as the lower shoots had grown quite a bit since yesterday. With only 3 more weeks left before flowering, maintaining the plants shape should be easily achieved. Love the dark green colour of the leaves. While many would say there is too much nitrogen, I think it's just fine. No issues with the leaves, everything looks normal. 11/19/21: Day 24. 💧Plant is growing well, minus the distinct leaf burns on the tips. The soil is only holding a slightly higher ratio of nutrients, but it is now the full recommended dose. Overall it's still in quite good condition. One thing I love, is how I messed up the FIM, and allowed the two new shoots to grow, while somehow still having the center shoots still grow. Albeit it's a little smaller, as it look longer to sprout, but it's definitely there. Not sure if it's 3, or 4 shoots now. I will spread the two long ones out a little at first, but then I'll let them all grow out together, like a pronged spear. Watered the plant fairly thoroughly, as it was definitely asking for a drink. 11/21/21: Day 26. Plant is looking great. Lower branches are being tied back and out, to allow for an even spread. About another week of the main stem being trained, with the final week being allowed to grown out and up. I still want it it be the main cola, as it would be nice to see what the colas end up looking like. 11/23/21: Day 28. 💧After a bunch of fiddling around with an idea for the plant, I went back to how it was, using staples. I spread the new growth on the top colas, allowing more light to reach the middle shoot. Just a few more days before I let it start growing out more, and then flip over to flower. I will water the plants after dinner, as I forgot to yesterday, and up until just now (3:54pm). They were fine earlier, so it's nothing to be worried about.

Heute gingen die kleinen zum keimen. Ich bin gespannt wie die neue Anzuchtstation ist. Diesmal werde ich 6 Pflanzen mit Plagron Bio und 3 Pflanzen mit BioTabs, alles ganz nach schema düngen. Als Blütekammer kommt wieder die Homebox R120. Man darf gespannt sein. 😊 Leider ist eine Gorilla Zkittlez nicht gekeimt. Die hab ich durch eine Alienz von Greenhouse ersetzt
