(Musik an) Week 15 – The Calm Before the Storm 😏 Nach neun Tagen Urlaub war ich ehrlich gesagt ziemlich gespannt. Ausgerechnet drei Tage vor meiner Rückkehr verabschiedete sich auch noch die Hobbit Cam. 😅 Keine Bilder mehr, keine Kontrolle – nur die Klimadaten und das Vertrauen in meinen Sohnemann. Als ich schließlich die Tür geöffnet habe, war mein erster Gedanke nur: “WTF… 😳😏” Die Laughing Buddha hat die Zeit genutzt. Nicht, um völlig außer Kontrolle zu wachsen, sondern um sich in aller Ruhe zu einem dichten, kräftigen SCROG zu entwickeln. Die Bewässerung hat hervorragend funktioniert, das Klima war stabil und die Pflanze sah nach dem Urlaub gesünder aus, als ich es mir erhofft hatte. Heute wurde der Grow auf die nächste Phase vorbereitet. Zuerst wurden die 81 Triebspitzen gleichmäßig über das Netz verteilt. Ja, ich habe tatsächlich nachgezählt… exakt 81 Spitzen. 🤣 Mein kleines Ziel „72 Tops für 720 Watt“ scheint tatsächlich Realität zu werden. Anschließend folgte der bisher größte Eingriff des gesamten Grows. Unterhalb des ersten Netzes wurde komplett gelollipoppt und die Pflanze zusätzlich stark ausgelichtet, damit Licht und vor allem Luft ungehindert durch das Blätterdach zirkulieren können. Von unten betrachtet sieht die Buddha inzwischen eher wie ein kleiner Baum aus – kräftige Hauptäste, saubere Verzweigungen und ein stabiles Gerüst, das später hoffentlich dutzende schwere Colas tragen wird. Nachdem alles ausgelichtet und neu verteilt war, habe ich die obere Erdschicht vorsichtig aufgelockert und nach Herstellerangabe Green House Feeding BioBloom eingearbeitet. Anschließend wurde mit BioEnhancer angegossen, damit die Bodenbiologie aktiviert wird und die organischen Nährstoffe in den nächsten Tagen in Ruhe arbeiten können. Jetzt bekommt die Buddha erst einmal ein kleines Wellnessprogramm. 🌿 Keine weiteren großen Eingriffe, nur Wasser, stabile Klimabedingungen und Zeit, sich vollständig von der Entlaubung zu erholen. Wenn alles weiterhin so läuft wie geplant, wird nächsten Donnerstag auf 12/12 umgestellt. Dann beginnt endlich die Blütephase. Ich bin unglaublich gespannt, wie sich die Laughing Buddha im Stretch verhält. Die Internodien sind bisher angenehm kurz geblieben, wodurch die Chancen auf lange, aber trotzdem schön kompakte Colas ziemlich gut aussehen. Sollte sie jetzt noch das zweite Netz sauber ausfüllen, könnte das genau die Blütenwand werden, die ich mir von Anfang an vorgestellt habe. Der Veg-Teil ist damit fast abgeschlossen… jetzt beginnt bald der wirklich spannende Teil. 😎🌿🚀

Week two of flower nothing exiting happening yet. The plants are very healthy and happy for the most part. The Purple Shah #2 has a slight mag def I have not been able to keep up with but nothing major.

Not a personal favourite of mine but thats not to say others won't love it. Overall good strain, nice buds too. Thanks to RQS for the opportunity to grow her. 0

Week 26: September 20 2020 - September 26 2020 Great week, no issues, no complaints. Buds are getting fatter and the smell is really starting to come off of them. Fertilized for the last time on Friday and will begin flushing with water until harvest. Blue Dream looks like she can come down now but trichomes are still milky with very little amber. Keeping a close eye on her but I think 2-3 weeks more at most before she's chopped. Girl Scout Cookies is an absolute beast! She got some wild colors from the cold snap last week and she looks awesome. I got some dead leaves I could pull, but they all look awesome with the reds, purples and greens. Buds are dense too! The pictures and videos don't do them justice. The fan leaves have long stems so they're hiding the buds, but if you pull them back, each cola is huge and gets bigger almost daily. Trichomes are starting to come in more heavily, and pistils are just starting to turn red. Purple Kush is starting to put on weight and has really shaped up in the last couple weeks. Surprised she's still so green compared to the purple in Girl Scouts, but it could just be the phenotype. She's definitely the furthest back of the two and may stay out a little longer. Overall, I'm extremely impressed and happy with my results this year. Decent weather in the forecast for the month of October. Looks like we're on the road to a pretty sweet harvest. Tag 28 – Neue Basis, stabiler Blick nach vorn 🌡️ Klima & Setup Die Bedingungen laufen weiterhin stabil. Temperatur und Luftfeuchte sind im Rahmen, auch wenn man merkt, dass durch die größere Topfmasse das Feuchtigkeitsverhalten etwas träger geworden ist. Mit Blick auf die kommende Abwesenheit wurde zusätzlich Reis als Mulchschicht eingebracht – weniger Verdunstung, weniger Trauermücken, stabileres Wassermanagement. 🌱 Pflanzenstatus Fruit Bomb Punch Durch das Topping deutlich eingebremst, genau wie geplant. Zeigt aktuell noch gelbliche Verfärbungen und leichte Stressreaktionen, vermutlich durch das Zusammenspiel aus neuem Substrat, Nährstoffverteilung und Eingriff. Wirkt noch nicht ganz „angekommen“, aber im Rahmen – das reguliert sich. Strawberry AK Weiterhin die ruhigere Vertreterin, aber konstant. Kommt stabil durch die Phase, ohne große Auffälligkeiten. Chicken & Waffles Hat sich sehr gut angepasst und steckt den Stress am besten weg. Wirkt aktuell am stabilsten und verarbeitet das neue Setup ohne sichtbare Probleme. ⚠️ Stress & Reaktion Der Doppelstress aus Umtopfen + Spruzit-Behandlung ist weiterhin sichtbar: Blattreaktionen leichte Verbrennungen insgesamt noch nicht voll im Wachstumsmodus Aber alles im erwartbaren Rahmen – die Basis passt. 🔮 Ausblick Jetzt geht’s darum, dass sich alles im neuen Medium stabilisiert. Sobald die Wurzeln richtig greifen, kommt der nächste Schub von allein. Gerade jetzt zeigen sich die ersten Unterschiede – genau das, was den Run spannend macht. Der Terp-Test läuft – am Ende entscheidet das Glas. 🌱 🇬🇧 Day 28 – New foundation, steady forward view 🌡️ Environment & Setup Conditions remain stable overall. With the larger pots, moisture behavior has slowed down a bit. Added a rice mulch layer to reduce evaporation, control fungus gnats, and improve water retention during the upcoming absence. 🌱 Plant Status Fruit Bomb Punch Clearly slowed down by topping, as intended. Currently showing yellowing and mild stress signs, likely from the combination of new soil, shifting nutrient availability, and the topping itself. Not fully settled yet compared to the others, but within a normal range. Strawberry AK Still the calmer one, but steady. Moving through this phase without any major issues. Chicken & Waffles Handled the transition the best so far. Looks the most stable and adapts to the new setup without visible stress. ⚠️ Stress & Response The combined stress from transplant + Spruzit treatment is still visible: leaf reactions minor burn marks not fully back in full growth mode yet All expected – nothing concerning. 🔮 Outlook Now it’s all about root establishment in the new soil. Once that kicks in, growth will accelerate naturally. Differences are starting to show – exactly what makes this run interesting. The terp test is running – in the end, the jar decides. 🌱

Flowering phase has officially started. My Ladies did grow a lot this week. GC is 90cm, SG is 85cm and GA 80cm. All 3 have a lot of flowering spots, they don’t really need LST or other grow techniques, maybe only little defoliation.

So week 9, devils #1 and #2 are scheduled to be harvested on Wednesday 5/9, last flush was 5/4/2019. The purple fade is quite a spectacle, Devil #2 is definitely a green pheno and absolutely refuses to turn purple but smells and looks fantastic. I’m hoping to beat the 44g per average at 400g/m2. Devil #1 looks to be heaviest of all the girls hoping to break 2oz with that one. Still paying close attention to #3 her foxtailing is kinda of a bummer but looking at other diaries it looks to be a trait found in some devils. Devil # 4 is still chugging along throwing tons of new pistils and still a couple of weeks away. She just got her 2nd to last feed (75% nutes) most likely but time will tell. For my trim mostly thinking I’ll do a dry trim to try an protect the buds as much as possible 5-10 days hang dry and into the mason jars for a long slow cure hopefully. I still update with devil #3 and #4 until they get the chop. Photos updated every 2 days or so most likely a video of the girls coming down on 3/9-3/10, stay tuned! Devils #1 and 2 had all their fan leaves removed today may wait a few days to give the lowers time to fatten but both will be harvested by Friday.
