VEG WEEK 10 My Base Nutrient Inputs: See VEG WEEK 6 for details of stock solutions A & B. My grow weeks run from Monday to Sunday. This week the goal was to let the girls grow, space the tops around the trellis, and attach each stem to the outside of this structure. Tuesday - Watering Day - 1 gallon each as described above. Friday - Watering Day - The pots are very light. Laverne is quite thirsty in pic # 10 - 2 gallons each as described above. Friday - Pruning Day - Pinched out all the new grow at each fan leaf. The goal is a single stalk with no side branching. Also removed some lower Fan leaves and a few select others. Unfortunately, Laverne lost a top. Not sure how, but I snapped it😡, and it dangled by a little of the outer stem tissue. I quickly reached for some tape to administer first-aid, which has worked for me in the past. Sadly, a few days later, it was evident (pic # 16), she wasn't going to make it. Sunday - Training and Trim Day - Laverne is now down to 11 tops and my plants symmetry is shattered. I pushed the broken limb aside, to make room to realign the neighboring branches. I'm leaving this broken branch on the plant for now (pic #17), in an attempt to keep the other branch, on the same main stalk from dominating the plant. The remaining branch (pic #18&19) is already growing much faster and needed some serious twisting to bring it to the level of the rest of the plant. I managed to get Laverne symmetrical again, and leveled out the tops with some wire work. Shirley was also wired down to a symmetrical, level canopy, without any drama. Laverne is now 10 inches tall, and Shirley is 12 inches. It seems I named them backwards, lol. Laverne received a 2 inch booster seat under her pot to bring her canopy level with her buddy. Their canopy tops are 30 inches from the Electric Sky ES 300 V1 light. Shirley has shown herself to be a female (pic #24), while Laverne has not shown sex (no concern, as these seeds I made should be feminized). I see some tip burn, and need to dial back my nutrients a tad. I also am working on eliminating the purple on the top side of the petioles (not too worried about it as the plant is growing and appears healthy otherwise). My base nutrients contain calcium and magnesium, plus I add Cal-Mag +, so not sure why. It is funny that the purple is only on the top side of the petioles, and makes me wonder if this is caused somehow by LED lighting. If anyone knows, please share😀. I plan on another week, maybe two, of vegetative growth. The mother(s), that I made these seeds from only stretched about 12-14 inches. I'll flip to 12/12 light schedule when the stems reach the height of the top of the trellis. With the stems supported, and some luck, these girls, will be set-up for smooth flowering. (10/28-11/03) Starting a new grow with two 420 FastBuds Fast Flower seeds (thank you 420 FastBuds for making this possible) I plan to be rough with these plants and top them both to 8 colas. This journal will be different than my last (alot less detail) but I will still look for new opportunities to learn something new that I can share. I also plan to take at least 5 pics per week with 1 video and 1 'pretty' cover pic per week, however I also plan to delete the excess details at the end of each week. I sanded both seeds on the edge and simply soaked a towel for germination. These seeds took 3 days to show a crack in the shell from the time that I placed them into the paper towels without glass of water soak prior- As soon as they cracked, I placed them into Rapid Rooters in an incubator until they showed tap root growing out from the bottom of the rapid rooters plug. That took a total of 6 days (now called Day 0) from paper towel to transplant day (now called Day 1) where they were about 1 to 1.5 inches above the soil line after I planted them in 5 gallon pots with about 2 tsp of Dynomyco Mycorrhizal Inoculant already mixed into the ph balanced soil that had been growing Happy Frog mycorrhizae for 12 days under cardboard. I fed them each about two cups of plain de-chlorinated tap at 6.3 ph on day 2, and another .5 gallon of 5.8ph de-chlorinated tap on day 7(both plants top soil was 7.0ph before feed). I plan to ph read the top soil again tomorrow but it read 6.7 on both plants after 5.8 feed)

First i wait for it to grow 5-6 nodes then you top it at the 3rd node but cut it right below the 4th to leave a little stump of a stem left. This helps your plant prevent it from damaging its self when growing bigger in size. At this point im only giving 1 quart of water every 2 days. And im not wetting the entire 30gal pot, only about 7-8 inches away from the stem all the way around it. I would also like to add by saying the bottom 1/3 of my 30 gal pot is straight super soil (M3 supersoil) and the top 2/3 is a mix with the M3 supersoil and COCO LOCO from fox farms.

14/01/21 He cumplido un mes de vida, mido 12cm y soy feliz, sobre todo cuando estoy en la ventana mirando el cielo, hoy mi jefe me ha sacado al exterior, había un bonito sol de invierno y me ha dicho que me vendrá muy bien para la fotosíntesis. Por fin he conocido a las plantas de exterior, son raras, me han dicho que son de la familia de los cactus, me parecen poco sociables, tienen pinchos y me da miedo acercarme... 19/01/21 Hace dos días que hace sol y disfruto cada tarde al exterior. Mi jefe está contento por las numerosas raíces verticales que asoman por mi base, dice que así mis raíces no se enrollan en la maceta y podré respirar mejor!! 😍 Cada día tengo más sed... me gusta estar hidratada 😅 20/01/21 Hoy ha sido un día muy especial, con muchos cambios... I loved!! 😘 Hoy esperaba mi nueva maceta, en realidad la esperaba ayer, pero mi jefe no pudo y me prometió que hoy sería el día... casi no he dormido de emoción!! 😳 es mi puesta de largo... soy una adolescente!! mi jefe me lo ha dicho!!... I loved!! 😍 Por la mañana mi jefe me puso en la ventana, el día estaba nublado, pero la temperatura de 15°C era idónea, después de un rato comenzó a soplar un fuerte viento... aterrada y temiendo por mi vida, grité socorro!! 😱 ... ¡Ja Ja Ja, te vendrá muy bien para fortalecer tu tallo y ramas!! decía mi jefe riéndose de mi... no es justo, he pasado mucho miedo 😔, porque el viento no es igual que el aire del ventilador de mi carpa, el viento va y viene, cambia de dirección y de intensidad... me hace bailar!! 😍 Esta tarde ha comenzado el proceso para cambiar mi maceta, mi jefe ha elegido una muy moderna, grande y llena de protuberancias y agujeros, no se😒, es un estilo muy tecnológico y soy una cepa clásica... para tranquilizarme mi jefe me ha asegurado que es la mayor que tiene y que mis raíces se propagarán muchísimo y estarán muy oxigenadas y eso hará de mi una grande y bella planta, y además, si sigo creciendo fuerte como hasta ahora, me pondrá una carpa de floración para mi sola... I Loved!! 😍 He visto todo el proceso y los componentes de mi nuevo sustrato, estoy aprendiendo mucho, mi jefe me lo explica muy bien... dos tierras ligeras a base de turbas, un poco de bocashi casero para aportar nutrientes y microorganismos, humus de lombriz para dar estructura al suelo y fomentar la humificación y microbiología, fibra de coco activada con microorganismos para retener humedad, airear el sustrato e inocular MM, un buen puñado de perlita, vermiculita, arena de río y zeolita para facilitar el drenaje y oxigenar el sustrato... Ah!! y los minerales!! estos me han gustado, definitivamente aportan lo que le faltaba al sustrato, mayormente de composición vegetal... basalto, roca fosfórica, arcillas caolin, illita y montmorillonita para darme sílice y favorecer el intercambio catiónico de nutrientes, azomite rico en magnesio, aluminio y muchos otros minerales, un poco de dolomita para equilibrar el PH y aportar Cálcio, leonardita para dar estructura al suelo, retener humedad y aportar materia orgánica humificada, Piedra pomez y ceniza para completar el aporte de minerales... ...y como punto final, los encargados de procesar estos minerales y componentes del sustrato, para que yo los pueda asimilar son los Microorganismos, mi jefe ha añadido carbón vegetal activado con MM, excelente para retener humedad y nutrientes y Microorganismos de Montaña Sólidos... Guau!! he estado ansiosa todo el tiempo, deseando entrar en mi nuevo sustrato!! 😻 Ya estoy dentro!! en mi nueva maceta, con mi nuevo sustrato... I loved!! 😍 Siento unas cosquillas muy grandes en mis raíces, me han espolvoreado alrededor de ellas, auxinas caseras para promover el crecimiento de mis raíces y esporas de micorrizas para que las protejan contra hongos patógenos. El primer riego en esta maceta me ha encantado, estaba caliente y era dulce... mi jefe me ha dicho que se compone de agua de montaña con un poco de melaza a 22°C, con esta solución está activando los microorganismos del sustrato, la melaza los dará mucha energía para que se propaguen y empiecen a trabajar, ellos la necesitan porque son diabéticos y no almacenan azúcar, cuando yo sea mas grande yo también les enviaré el azúcar para que trabajen con ganas!! Y lo que realmente me ha vuelto loca es el Mulch!!.. I loved, loved, loved!! 😍 es el mejor material que almacenaba mi jefe, pequeñas hojas y tallos secos, sobrantes de las limpiezas de cogollos, mucha materia orgánica que mantendrá la humedad en la parte superior de la maceta, será la comida de los microorganismos y creará un ecosistema ideal para la microbiología!! Y a la hora de dormir... sorpresa!!...no puedo con tantas emociones!! 😅 ... nueva carpa más grande, limpia, desinfectada y con luces a estrenar, la comparto con otras tres plantas, bellas y mucho más grandes que yo... quiero ser como ellas cuando sea mayor!! 😃... bueno, yo soy la pequeña pero tengo la maceta más grande jejej!! 😋 Antes de ponerme en mi carpa, me han lavado las hojas con jabón potásico, me han quedado muy suaves y el jabón me protegerá de una plaga de arañas que está cerca 😨... estoy con miedo!! 💀 La semana que viene voy a poner toda mi energía en propagar mis raíces y crear más hojas... voy a dejar feliz a mi jefe. Weeeeee!!! Washing week!! 💦💦💦💦🤟🏿

We have passed three weeks of flowering. I'm very happy with the results so far and considering we have 5 to 6 weeks to go, these buds have the potential to get huge. Started watering more, 4 liters every two days instead of every 3 days. Also after a full 3 weeks of flowering, we started the flowering amendments, 2 cups of worm castings, 1 cup of bonemeal and a cup of Micro life each. Just put that on top of the soil, watered with the Perma tea, to which I added some woodash, just two tablespoons and stirred. To 12 liters of this I added 60 ml of BAC Organic Flower, 20 mils of BAC Calmag and 12 mils of Top Max. They seemed to love it, they payed me back with enormous bud growth in the last week. Anyone still doubting the power of the SP-3000, look at this grow! This light is spectacular! Because we had a full three weeks of flowering, I started some underside leafpicking and pruning the smallest branches with no chance of growing out. I kept it to a minimum and will gradually do more. The smells of orange and related citrus is amazing. It is a mixture of orange peels, lime, kumquat, grapefruit and those lovely little oranges they put in Earl Grey tea. Everything is pretty much the same this week the purple punch is doing up numbers, the zkittles is rite behind it with the gelato struggling. Already germinated some seeds for the summer grow hope the gelato grows better out doors

Diese Woche wurde nach und nach getoppt über 3 Tage hinweg. Sobald die ersten Triebe des 4ten Paares entwickelt waren, habe ich das Unterste paar Triebe + Blätter und die Keimblätter entfernt. Pro Pflanze möchte ich diesmal mit 6 Haupttrieben arbeiten. Nachdem ich mit allen fertig war und die Wunden 1 Tag geheilt waren, habe ich wieder B-52 mit Break Thru zusammen eingesetzt um Stress zu minimieren und den Wachstum zu fördern. Ab jetzt fange ich auch an alle 3 Tage mit 10-15% Drain zu gießen. Fürs nächste Mal ist auf jeden Fall vorgemerkt, dass als erstes umgetopft wird in den Endtopf bevor ich Toppe, um Zeit zu sparen. Wir sind in vegi Woche 4 und werden die 5te zur Erholung nach dem umtopfen brauchen und ich muss noch ins Netz einarbeiten. Das lief nicht ganz wie geplant, aber die Pflanzen sind alle zu 100% gesund. Die Green poison F1 scheinen mehr Probleme mit den thripsen zu haben als die anderen. Ich denke das liegt an den schwach vorhandenen Geruch. Alle anderen sind bisher Geruchslos. Ich arbeite auch noch ohne Filter.

Buenos días familia, hoy traemos la 3 semana de floración de nuestras crazy cookies, zambezaseeds. Es una cepa bastante vigorosa con un tallo robusto 6mm, exactamente a mitad altura. Su cultivo es fácil, apenas se ve bloqueo alguno, traga muy bien en lo que se refiere a nutrientes. Ph en 6,5 y humedad por debajo de los 45 % . 48h entre riego y riego, no olvidemos que están en tiestos de 7L. Su floración está siendo bastante rápida estas semanas se verá como engordan nuestras flores, sin duda este es el momento para meter caña a big bud y bud candy.

Week 17 August 30 Flowering plants (a&b) are now in week 5 of flowering this means peak bulking so for today's feed : - 0-52-34 ~ 24gr / 30L - 0-0-50 ~ 24gr/ 30/L - Cal-Mag 3gr each. - Ph 6.3 & TDS 1600ppm As for the third plant (plant c) - 10-20-30 ~12gr or 2 tsp - 0-52-34 ~16gr - Cal-Mag 3gr each. PH 6.2 & TDS 1300 ppm Was supposed to perform a little mid flower defoliation but since its peak bulking decided thia timw to let it slip. Stay tuned.

Blue Dream Xtreme is growing good. She is stretching, but no other signs of flowering yet. I did a solution change today and adjusted level of nutrition. She is a lighter green then others. At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. Week 4 of veg was the most problem free so far. Lots of growth and things really starting to take shape. Started some lite LST on Gorilla Cookie and a few ties on the other strains. Removed some of the lower leaves that were lagging and damaged from the earlier pests invasion. By the end of the week all strains were pre-flowering with Purple Punch leading the way (all bud and few leaves) and Gorilla Glue in last place. Not surprisingly these two strains were the least and most effected by the pests. Purple Lemonade is a shorty but looking good I think, maybe stunted growth due to the pest/heat issues in the first couple of weeks? Gorilla Cookie is nice and bushy with plenty of bud sites. Although for the time being I'm pest free I'm keeping the Ladybugs in the tent. As there is hopefully no food for them on the plants so I keep them happy with a few raisins soaked in water with a couple of drops of raw honey mixed in. This seems to keep them happy and they stay mostly in the semi open tent. I let the pots dry out for 2 days for the first time since I started the grow. They were thirsty when they woke up on the last day of this week and this is when they received their first dose of flowering nutes. Again 50% of the recommended dose consisting of 50/50 veg/flowering nutes. So pretty much up to date with the diaries now. This is my first grow so I would really appreciate any advice, tips and pointers from the experts here :)
