🌱 Blue Waffle F1 – Photoperiod – Phenotype B Week 2 – A New Home, Strong Roots, Endless Potential Hello, everyone, and welcome back to another update from Project Blue Tent! šŸ’š Today we’re checking in on Blue Waffle F1 – Photoperiod – Phenotype B, one of the beautiful ladies growing under a traditional 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness. This week was a major milestone in her journey as she officially moved into her permanent home inside a Plagron Premium Coco Grow Bag. The seedling stage is now behind her, and from this point forward she’ll begin building the root system and structure that will support everything to come. Judging by her response so far, she’s loving every moment of it. āø» šŸ” Transplant Day After spending the last week preparing the grow bags, the coco was fully hydrated before transplant day arrived. Rather than digging an oversized hole, I used the original nursery pot to create a perfectly sized cavity inside the hydrated coco. This simple technique allows the root ball to slide directly into place while maintaining maximum contact between the soil and the surrounding coco. Once everything was ready, I gently removed the plant from her starter pot. One careful movement… One healthy root ball… One happy grower. The transplant went exactly as planned. āø» 🌱 Healthy Roots Tell the Whole Story Before placing her into the new home, I always like taking a look at the roots. They weren’t massive… They didn’t need to be. Instead, they were exactly what I hoped to see. Bright white roots wrapped beautifully around the entire root ball, with plenty of fine feeder roots actively searching for more space. There were no signs of root binding, discoloration or stress. The roots held the soil together perfectly while still looking young and incredibly active. Healthy roots are one of the best indicators that a plant is ready for transplant, and Phenotype B certainly passed that test with flying colours. āø» 🄄 The Move Into Coco With the transplant complete, Blue Waffle F1 Phenotype B officially begins the next stage of her life inside Plagron Premium Coco. Over the following days she showed virtually no signs of transplant stress. No drooping. No yellowing. No slowing down. Instead, fresh growth continued almost immediately, proving the roots adapted quickly to their new environment. That smooth transition is exactly what every grower hopes for. āø» 🌿 Vegetative Growth Phenotype B is developing into a compact, symmetrical young plant with excellent structure. Her internodal spacing remains tight, giving her a sturdy appearance, while the stem continues becoming thicker every day. The newest growth is vibrant and healthy, with the slightly lighter green colour that naturally accompanies rapidly developing tissue. Leaf posture remains relaxed, indicating she’s comfortable with both the environment and her feeding schedule. At this stage, she’s building the foundation that will eventually support an abundant canopy later in the grow. āø» šŸ’§ Feeding Program Now that she’s established inside the coco, feeding continues using the Plagron Hydro line. Current nutrient solution: • Plagron Hydro A • Plagron Hydro B • Plagron Hydro Roots The goal during this early vegetative stage is simple: Build roots first. Everything else follows. Hydro Roots continues stimulating vigorous root development while Hydro A & B provide the balanced nutrition required for steady, healthy vegetative growth. Sometimes simplicity really is the best strategy. āø» šŸ“Š Feeding Parameters Current nutrient solution: • EC: 1.26 mS/cm • pH: 5.83 • Solution Temperature: 23.1°C These values place the nutrient solution right where I like it for young plants growing in coco. The EC provides enough nutrition to encourage strong growth without overwhelming the developing root system, while the pH sits comfortably inside the optimal uptake range. āø» šŸŒ”ļø Environmental Conditions The grow room remained very stable throughout the week. Current conditions: • Temperature: 29°C • Relative Humidity: 68% Although temperatures are slightly warm, maintaining a higher relative humidity helps young plants stay comfortable by reducing unnecessary transpiration while the roots establish themselves inside the larger growing medium. Consistency remains one of the most important ingredients for healthy development. Happy plants love stable environments. āø» šŸš€ Looking Ahead With the transplant now complete, the focus shifts toward root expansion. Over the coming week I expect the roots to rapidly colonize the surrounding coco, allowing nutrient uptake to increase and vegetative growth to accelerate. As the plant continues developing under the 18/6 light schedule, she’ll begin building the strong framework that will eventually support training and, later on, a productive flowering phase. Everything is progressing exactly as planned, and I’m excited to watch her personality continue to unfold. āø» šŸ’š Final Thoughts Every great harvest starts with a healthy beginning. Strong roots create strong stems. Strong stems support strong branches. And strong branches eventually produce beautiful flowers. Blue Waffle F1 Phenotype B has settled beautifully into her new home, and all the signs point toward a vigorous, healthy plant with plenty of potential still to reveal. The journey is only getting started, and I can’t wait to see what she has in store over the coming weeks. āø» šŸ™ Thank You A huge thank you to everyone following this journey and sharing the passion for growing. Special thanks to Zamnesia for the incredible Blue Waffle F1 genetics and the ecosystem. Thank you to Plagron for providing the Premium Coco Grow Bags together with the outstanding Hydro nutrient line that’s powering this grow from the very beginning. And finally, thank you to every company, every sponsor, every member of this amazing community, and every grower who stops by to leave a comment, share advice, or simply follow along. Your support means more than you know. Until next week… Happy growing, and take care! šŸŒ±šŸ’š

We are going strong and I honestly can't complain. So far this plant has been pretty hard and hasn't suffered much if at all being in such a small pot. I'm keeping an eye on water but every other day or so still works. Cheers til next time -Dj Sunstone

Week 5 of veg honestly do not have a clue how I’ve managed to get this far with her looking half happy have come across a few slight issues along the way but seems to have cleared up I think, ppms haven’t been reading what I exactly except feeding with 600ppms ph 5.5 all the time as it rises a few points I should be in the safe zone and the run off when measured is way lower (180ppms) and I’m sure my ec pen is fine so I’m so confused I don’t bother testing the ph run off as it fluctuates all the time aslong as it’s ideal what got put in I should be fine I heard i just done get why I can’t seem to get

Got the scrog net added and super cropped. Probably let them go another week then flip to flower. It's been a pretty great experience with flora flex pH has been stable haven't needed to use the pH controler. Top off with 5 gallons of water every few days. I do over fill the buckets a bit they come up to the bottom of the net pots. So stick around the fun is only beginning

Super Sativa Grow Diary: Day 7 from seed, AK Triple Hazex5 Auto Flower. I think they are quintuplets. All 5 plants tap rooted 72hrs, broke soil day 5, & opened cotyledons day 6. Love the consistency of Super Sativa Seed Clubs Genetics. Weekly Environment: 75F, 80% RH, 700ppm CO2, & 250 PPFD 18hr Lighting. Dome spritz each day. Germination Pot still moist from creation so no water to soil yet. Thanks for checking out the grow.

She's late compared to the other strains in the room, buds are slowly expanding. This might be related to the lack of stretch, she was not supposed to be so compact/short in my plans. Anyway, she has a lot of bud sites, let's see how this goes, hopefully these will fatten up nicely. Thanks for stopping-by! šŸ‘Š

Shr was still recovering from that led issue...and she gets direct sun light in the hottest hour. Black cream in the other hand sofer a lot with fan stress bleaching the leafs in direct contact. Couskush its a beautifull lady and growing nice. Bomberry is late but showing some promissing buds. Chears BrotherHood

Hey everyone šŸ¤—. This week they both continued to develop very well. Flowering day 42 Today the tent was cleaned, the humidifier refilled and the plants sprayed with Canna Cure :-). Flowering day 43 The plant was watered today with 1.2 L šŸ™‚. They were also checked for their health and pests šŸ‘. Everything looks great šŸ™šŸ». Flowering day 44 Again the tent was cleaned and fresh osmosis water was filled into canisters. Flowering day 45 Today 1.5 l per pot was poured so that some drainage comes out again. therefor two days are not poured šŸ˜‹. Flowering day 46 The tent was cleaned, the humidifier was filled, the plant was checked for vitality and the entire electronics were checked for functionality. Flowering day 47 Today she was sprayed again with Canna Cure and checked. Flowering day 48 We got to the last day of this week and 1.2 L were poured again and the tent was cleaned šŸ‘. The grow was overall very easy, to sum it up quick she loves neits and can eat heavy. The beginning she started shaky because the first 3 weeks I only gave her pH water since my soil was precharged. She ate right thru and wanted more, more, more. I fed her almost every day and the results speak for them selves, an amazing 167 grams from a 67 day grow, including a strong 2 week flush. Topped her a total of 3 times giving me 10 tops. Overall tall plant but great strong stalk and branches to handle it. An 8 to 10 week stain, harvest right before 9 weeks. 1,000% recommended for all growers wanting that stanky dense Lemon drop. Absolute incredible lineage and smoke šŸ’Ø. Gonna always be first pick šŸ‹šŸ”„2412500

Day 58, 7th of November 2020: The 6th day since the lamp switched to be 12/12... I raised up the nutrition intake as it can be seen above only the BioBizz family 2ml/l and removed some LST because the plant remains in shape or just set a bit but nothing significant.... Amazing....strech is on the way..... šŸ˜… Love this plant looking really nice keeps growing :) Nothing really to report there is crazy 2-3 weeks from now ;) ;)

I've repotted into her final 15l auto pot. The procedure I used is as follows. Items needed.. Clay pebbles Hydro coco 60/40 clay pebbles/Coco. Silicium Flash Startrex Mycrotrex Bactrex And of course Bio tablets X2. 15l of hydro coco was mixed with 25g of Silicium Flash and 25g of Startrex. Mixed up well to form the main substrate. I filled the autopots to a depth of 5cm with clay pebbles and then layered up the amended substrate making a nice hole for my 300ml nursery pots. Into this hole I sprinkled in 5g of Mycrotrex and then dropped the seedling in. This then gets 2 biotabs pushed 5-8cm into the substrate and 1l of water mixed with 5ml of Bactrex. I put domes over them but I think the Rh was a bit too high and this lady seems to have gone a bit floppy. Not an issue and shee will be fine in a day or two now I've removed the domes. I need to top feed the autopots for a couple of weeks so the root system can establish before I transfer to my flower room and the gravity feeding trays..šŸ¤˜šŸ¼šŸ‘šŸ¼ I'm keeping temps at a constant 25c and lights are on 24hrs a day. Rh is sitting around 65%.it too low hence the domes but then it goes too high. I'm going to run a couple of days with the 65% but vpd over 1 is a bit high for so early.. we shall see.

my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are one of the hardest as fucking rocks type of buds! very dense , compact , sticky , smelly , amazing at every aspect growing stage was 60 days and flowering stage was 70 days total (harvested tops at day 63th) the total weight of dry buds was : top buds 174 G + lower buds 55 G = 229 G my overview of strain with details: the seeds: unfortunately i only got 1 seed cracked out of 5 so i will not know how much this genetic can get different but at least i got the chance to grow once of this wonderful strain the plant : in every stage you can ensure that you are dealing with a high level plant , she will get big so you have to control her height LST and SCROG highly recommended , will grow very well with tick stalks and big fan leaves , has good resistance for stress and will respond very well to stress trainings , she really has gorilla power in herself , fresh buds on plant : buds are very compact and dense even from start , fresh blossoms smells like pineapple and mango , 2 different shades of sweet smells like you hold 2 junks of pineapple and mango in your hand and you smell them together, she is a trichome and resin factory , very very sticky , very oily , strong smell dried buds: very compact and dense , hard as rocks , has dark colors with purple hues inside it , it smells sweet smoke : very smooth and sweet like lollipop , pineapple , mango like , after 2 minutes it'll kick in and you'll get higher and higher with every breath , has a strange and especial high mind high mostly
