Is it frost or is it snow ❄️?

We had a mega load of rain over the last few days and sadly I lost a huge NYD to stem rot. Anyways I new February in Durban was going to be a challenge. The soil doesn't drain very well where I live and unfortunately it just got too wet for too long. All the other plants are looking healthy and I did do treatments around their crowns with some peroxide followed by fungicide (organic oils). The haze x cheese is looking epic this week, buds are getting really big. Spotted some PM on some lower branches so I cleared out some undergrowth and have been pulling the odd leaves I see. Nothing too bad. Humidity has been 100% at points. Getting awesome hints of limone as I walk through the garden. Can't wait!

It's growing at a good pace and looks healthy I should have started the LST technique earlier because now the initial branch has become quite stiff and no longer has the appropriate elasticity It's okay, I'll wait a little longer for the branches to grow and then I'll stretch them with wire. I grew the previous grow using a similar technique and still got pretty good results. I have no complaints.

Well we are now at DAY 84 from seed and 53 Days of Flowering 🍉 🍉 🍉 So shes been doing reall well ☺️ And this week could be the week she gets the chop 😁 I have moved the feeding to accommodate the final step in flower 😀 by straight up giving her fresh water till its time 👈 So there now we play the waiting game 😋 yet again 🍉 🍉 🍉 🍉 🍉 🍉 🍉 🍉 🍉 🍉 🍉 🍉 🍉 🍉 🍉 🍉 🍉 🍉 🍉 🍉 Thanks 😊 my friends for the support 🙏👊

Finally flipped to flower. Cleaned up the bottom of plant i feel like it still needs more work but I dont want to go over board. Ppms are crazy high but plant d I sent show signs of problems so I left it. Going to do full water change next week. Also spread out plant some more might need to add a second tralis.

10/23-10/30 final week. 10/24 - this grow is not as ready as I would like it to be but its needed to be on a set schedule since the get-go as this was the first plant in my perpetual. the next plant will be harvested on trich color not time window. 90% cloudy 10% clear hoping the rest of those clear finish up this final week. I usually prefer at least 10% amber. 10/26 - Starting to get amber triches faster than expected, should hit my 10% threshold by tuesday for harvest!

All in all there were some major mistakes I made myself in which I can honestly say I think has affected the yield and quality to some extent. As this was my first use of the equipment for this run. After everything I have learnt on this run I hoping the next one there will be no errors at all.

The big day is here! 😎 Today, March 28th, 104 days (15 weeks) after germination, I have harvested my first indoor photoperiod plant. It has been an incredible challenge, especially managing it in the middle of a winter environment, but the results speak for themselves. 📏 Harvest Data (Wet Weight) -Total Wet Weight: 56.5 grams (15.7g + 40.8g). -Final Height: 40 cm of pure density. -Status: Rock-hard buds and an impressive resin layer. -Dry Estimate: I estimate that after water loss (60-70% less), the final dry weight will be between 14 and 17 grams, given how dense the buds are and the cold conditions we’ve faced. 🌡️ Process Summary -Managing a grow with lows of 12°C for my first indoor photoperiod experience has been difficult. I am aware that a climate control system would have been ideal, but the budget is what it is 😆. Despite the limitations, using lukewarm water for irrigation and controlling the lamp height were vital. This plant has been a great learning experience, and I am sure the next one will be much better, applying everything I’ve discovered during these 15 weeks. Now, on to a slow and controlled dry so the flavor is as spectacular as its look! I want to wrap up this diary by thanking everyone who has joined me during these 15 weeks. Your likes, and comments have been an extra motivation to pull this Critical through despite the cold challenges. It has been an incredible learning journey, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome of my first indoor photoperiod plant. I think so 15 of 16 plants have preflowers. the 7 week veg plants are my favorite. 7 weeks is good if i will be topping twice The third fan was crucial to humidity control Day 17 Sprayed 6 plants(pictured right) with Jas wondering if these 6 will have stunted growth. Either they will have a stress response and halt root growth to early OR they grow normal but are a but frostier These 6 will be sprayed a second time during week 4 BEFORE the bud sites are medium sized. The other 6 will be sprayed once wk4 qnd once wk 5

March 20, 2019: The girls have transitioned nicely into the flower room. I’m seeing them all start to stretch out and all showing definite signs of their femininity. The DinaMed CBD+ is still the tallest, but the CBD MediKush is catching up quickly. The 4 Cherry CBD Hemp plants are all smaller so far. But the Jobe’s fertilizer spikes seems fine so far. No signs of deficiencies or issues after the first week. Watering with living water (tap water with a few ounces of fish tank water mixed in per gallon) or just straight tap water (well water). The girls remaining in the veg tent are doing OK. They really need to be transplanted into larger containers. I’m going to go shopping this weekend looking for square nursery pots for transplanting into.

I've been having a tough time with shipping getting things I need to properly control my environment and running into issues. I have invested in a new; 4x5 Vivosun tent to give the bigger plants more room, a Spider Farmer 1000 ( MrCanucks, a guy I learned a lot from on YouTube did a paid trial of this product with pretty great results, thought I'd try compared to my current crappy LED.), Sizing down to 1 and 3gal fabric pots for a softer transplant transition next go around, the hygrometer/thermometers, some more appropriate sized fans for the tent ( Genesis clip on and treveda circulating fan) to help with general airflow. Overall I'm actually very happy with all my first set plants (the bigger ones), most seem to be producing multiple sites and growing bigger every day. Noticed the seedlings having trouble about two to three days ago at most. Honestly did not give them the attention they needed. First though it was nutrient deficiency or lockout, maybe, overwatering. Finally checked the soil good and seen how clay like and thick it had become, then took a few out their cups and seen the roots we're choking. I have a grow question up wondering whether I should try to save the seedlings or scrap them in favor of more light for the bigger plants that are obviously growing well? Until next week! Happy growing and much love to all! ✌️🌱 -UPDATE- So I ended up receiving my new Spider Farmer SF-1000 LED grow light and my two fans a bit ahead of schedule today! ☺️ Got the Treveda circulating fan and Genesis clip on fan. Reset all the plants to better benefit from the new gear and a couple other things. Need video I uploaded shows the most current setup. I moved all my bigger 1st set seed to the left side and hung the SF LED to about 20.5-21in from the tallest of the 4 of those plants. Most all are at least 9 inches. I moved the ring of the 1st set and seedlings to the right side under the Vivosun 600W at about 24in. Still haven't received much feedback on my grow question regarding my seedlings. Since I wasn't quite what to do, I ended up leaving them out of the cups and putting them in my germination tray. My hope is I can keep the plants surviving long enough off of regular sprayings and using the tray as a make shift nutrient reservoir until the soil and pots finally arrive. Dear diary, Week 4 almost done, but posting a day in advance as I will need help from the community! Something terrible has happened, and I am not sure what, so let’s jump into it. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 ⏰ Day 25: Away from home so the flatmate is feeding them from the premixed bucket. ⏰ Day 26: Back home! As they have doubled in size I am transplanting up from 3liter to 20liter airpots. The 75/25 coco to perlite mix was first run with 1.23ms 5.8ph calmag water followed by 1.33ms 5.8ph nutes before transplanting over. Light was about 305 so also upped it to 320-330ppfd. ⏰ Day 27: Feed the girls at 1.36ms and 6.0ph. Today was also the day where the mainlining begins! This was done by topping above the 3rd node, removing any growth below the 3rd and tying them down to start the manfold. Aiming for 8 or 16 tops for each plant depending on how the grow. ⏰ Day 28: Feeding at 1.36ms 5.8ph and adjusted ties. ⏰ Day 29: Checked in on them in the morning before lights off, and something is very wrong. All the older leaves show all kinds of issues like curling, brown and yellow spots, drooping etc. Might just be from the chock of mainlining and the lights being to strong so lowered them to 230ppfd. Later when lights turned on again, their state has not deteriorated during light off, so I’m fairly sure it is light related. But to be sure I also gave the girls 2 liter each of feed to make sure there are no dryspots, 1.36ms 6.0ph. ⏰ Day 30: I was away all day so they were watered by flatmate with 1.35ms 6ph. When I came home later in the night the spots and yellowing is still happening on the older leaves but much slower than before. I also checked runoff and it’s fine at 1.46ms and 6.0ph. ⏰ Day 30: Gave a feeding of 1.46ms 6.3ph in were I increased A and B nutes to 2.5ml/l from 2.0 and calmag to 1.5ml/l from 1.3. Someone suggested that it might be magnesium deficiency so that is why I changed the ratios and increased the EC a bit. Lastly I also gave a foliar spray of calmag water at like 12ml/l at 6.3ph to see if that helps so we can head into a smoother week 5!
