Unfortunately, I've let the Chaos Cake become too dry due to the fungus gnats, I had watered it too much, and afterwards, I just got a huge increase in the amount of fungus gnats. So, I thought it was best to let it dry out for a while. I think, however, I might have left it a little bit too long because it was incredibly dry. So when I watered it, it actually made the plant fall over. So I've had to prop it up with some metal garden pegs. Hopefully, she'll rectify herself if I make sure that the medium is properly. Watered. Other than that, the plant is doing well. Hopefully, she'll start becoming a little bit more sturdy next week! 😅 I have added an additional 100Watt UVA/UVB lamp, as the uppermost canopy of Acapulco Gold is blocking pretty much everything in the tent. Hopefully, this will aid the shorter plants in surviving until I can harvest it. There will be so much more space and lighting. Can't wait! 😅 Here is what I did this week. 28.9.25: I watered with 1.5L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.2 with; 💜 Sea K .5TSP 💜 Biosys .5TSP PH: 6.2 PPM: 565 The fungus gnats have really increased since I did a watering of the whole tent. I have some more sticky traps set out, and I will not water for several days. Once it has dried the top soil, I will add some more Diatomaceous Earth to the top 5cm. We've made it to Week 4 of flower going strong 💪 Plants are no longer stretching, now focusing on bud production. Bulking up bigger & bigger everyday. Plants are about 72 days old from seed from today's date 06/05/18 I've labeled the plants in picture #1 The smell is very strong, I had to leave fan with carbon filter running 24/7 to keep smell down. Iv'e also bin adding 1/2 teaspoon Wholesome Sweeteners, Inc., Organic Unsulphured Molasses since week 4 veg, seems to be helping with THC production, only time will tell. 👍 Thanks again for all the positive comments, likes & follows! Transplanted into slightly larger pots using Coast of Maine Bar Harbor Blend soil. I know, I should have gone bigger but seriously thinking of putting these girls out soon. It's still a little cold at night but they want the sun! Ice Cool seemed to respond the best to topping, she shot out nice new growth right away. I've noticed the 2 Dinafem girls are more thirsty than the others but they're very strong. Getting the red on the Bubba Kush makes me excited to see what her color will be like in the fall. The Joanne's is having the most trouble. One seedling is behind and another had crinkled leaves, both from issues with seed casing getting stuck, but they're marching along. Big Bloom this week.

Start of week 3 of flowering. Bud site development over the last week was impressive! This girl is starting to smell and is already sticky to the touch. Hopefully this girl will stretch a bit more this week.

Started off week 6 off by adding 5ml of Flying Skull Z7 to reservoir and adjusted reservoir PH to 6.0. I've got the blumats nearly dialed in and keep making small adjustments every 24 hours. I am holding off a few days on the nutrients to see what the plant tells me. The clawing seems to have improved(combo of over watering and not getting runoff on hand watered nutrients I believe). When I apply nutrients going forward I will make sure there is plenty of runoff so I don't repeat the same mistakes. 😬 on day 2 I applied 1 gal of nutrients and watered until runoff. On day 3 I defoliated the bottom of my plants to improve the air flow. On day 6 I added 5ml of flying skull Z7 to the reservoir. I noticed a possible calcium deficiency on one plant so on day 7 I applied my 1 gal of nutrients with the addition of calmag and silica. Ive only used calmag once growing in coco and it burned my plants...so I assumed there was enough from my tap water and nutrients. I know this goes against all advice.. I think it finally caught up with me LOL.LIve and learn to buffer your coco. Next grow I will buy buffered coco and use a calmag product 😅 I defoliated the center of my plants to increase airflow and expose light deeper into the canopy.

Day 14. Bent her over with pipe cleaners as usual. Day 16. Removed 1 leaf to expose bud sites. Continuing LST. Day 18. Long and lean compared to the other strains I'm running. Makes for easy training.

it was interesting and easy, the variety has a very high potential, the plant has survived both a deficit and an overdose, but she coped well! the effect is pleasant and strong. I recommend an excellent variety for its price!

During this week, in addition to gnats and hydrophobic soil, I faced high humidity at night and poor ventilation inside the grow tent. I felt this delayed the development of the sprouts. I used only pure water for watering, and even then, I did it in small volumes (50 to 100ml) several times to combat poor nutrient absorption on top of the pot due to the hydrophobic soil. I also applied Bacillus to control the gnats in the larval stage. I noticed that my traps had fewer each day, but it's difficult to completely eliminate these little demons.

Update 30/10 Purple : going well 2nd week of flowering perfectcly. Only issue : cal/Mag or ph deficiency New pH meter and adding the new biobizz cal/mag Master : the topped one is now really at the same rythme.. I defoliate a lot to try how she will react to be honest I am disappointed and I would ear space by loosing her... I don't know! So far expecting a nice yield from 2/3 Guys do you have any idea about when to harvest the purple?

*****Week 17 growth – March 27 to Apr 2, 2021 – Week 8 flower ****** We are in the first full week of flush now. Color change time and more swelling😃👍 GDP x GSC should have some purple in her......there certainly is in both. I have missed CL1 though, due to my actions. Pushing the nutes and lights is showing signs this week and both are fox tailing now. CL2 is holding it together though better than CL1........she said F you and shot her tips way up. Tails coming up the side of the bud as well, not excessive but they are prominent. They feel dense, yeah I squished a couple😏, so they should still have a good finish. CL2 is the looker right now and will have more dense buds I suspect but CL1 is showing that she can make some chunky LARGE buds if given what she wants.......without excess🙂 Frost levels on both girls is very high and looking sparkly😎 Aromas have been coming out more now and I pick up sweet and kind of floral......F I don’t know fully on these ones right now but it’s freaking good......smells like good weed!!! Running these both again I think. I was going to let CL1 go but color isn’t everything....CL1 should have fatter buds and I think she deserves another chance👍 CL2 is a given she will be run another time as well🔥❄️ 🔥❄️🔥❄️🔥 The girls are drinking well with being watered almost everyday. Moving into the phase of letting the pots dry right out before adding more water to ensure they are finishing all the nutrients in the media. Mar 30/21, Day 53 - 4L watering with tap water at 5.8pH - Mar 31/21, Day 54 - watered late in the day with only 3L of RO water - 25ppm and 6.1 pH Apr 1/21, Day 55 - dry out day Apr 2/21, Day 56 - light power reduced again and down to 300 watts. - plain water with tap. - 3L each 280ppm and 6.1pH Through week 8 and going into 9 now. Nice start to the week, enjoying the growth on these so far. The Carl #2 seems to be a triploid mutant, should be fun to grow. Been experimenting with time lapses over the last little while and think I may finally have it down at this point. /Updates as they happen/ -Carl is more than a triploid, both seeds have four-leaf node sets -Had to support UKBS 2 with some garden ties as it got too leggy and started falling over -Watered with plain water, the seedlings are suffering under the low humidity but growth remains steady
