Better results equals more confidence for the next round

Welcome to week 7 of veg life! The lady’s took around 4 days after there transplant to find there growth rate as they would have been filling there pots with roots. They have come on strong over the last 5 days really filling out and keeping there nodes really tight as they grow in height. They have been getting 2ltrs of water every 2 days. This is not giving run off but that will come when we get into flower. We have been feeding the lady nutes twice a week and keeping a eye on there tips as I think out nutes are rather weak. They have shown nothing but love for the larger amounts of nutes so far, see if it bites me on the butt I guess. We will run them another week in veg and switch them from there and see how we go. Plucked a few more leaves but other than that just feed them this week including bloom. Also gave them some rice starch (from boiled rice water collection) on day 42 as a boost for the microbes 👍 Turned the IR off now and turned up to 34000lux

Slowly cruising and getting closer to the end, they all reacted very well to the feeding and look rejuvenated. Had some aphids on the GDP but I caught them early and sprayed them with some homemade soapy water with essential oils mixture,so it shouldn't be a problem moving forward plus I spotted some natural allies (ladybugs) The Runtz has the biggest buds and looks like it will finish first The G13 has the best and strongest smell

This was a great grow, learning new plants and genetics, Spliff seed is very solid and you can expect the same consistency each seed. I want to grow them all and see if they all fall into place with their signature work!

Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. Big Fir Fast, Frisian Dew & Critical Skunk Buds in den letzten Zügen!

A little late for the weekly update as life got in the way but my girl purple Alaskan is doing awesome! Great root formation down into the reservoir now, I upped the EC to 1.4 and changed the reservoir water completely this week. I have been getting some pH drift but I think it's from the bucket I'm using so I have been adjusting to 5.8 as needed. I added the scrog net today as I know she's gonna be growing like crazy now!

Que hay familia, recta final de estas xupet y haribo de Rkiem seeds, la verdad que los esquejes de mi colega e flipado, Los 8 ejemplares han salido muy bien, tienes unos tonos y aunque no sean muy grandes se ven flores muy prietas y repletas de tricomas, espero se puedan apreciar bien en las fotos y el vídeo. Ya e practicado un lavado de raíces que era necesario para proceder a seguir regando sólo con agua unos días más. Sin más dilación , me despido hasta el año que viene 🤣 buenos humos y feliz año 💨💨💨🎉🎊.

Start of week 2

Haben das Training gut angekommen phasenweise wollte ich aus zeitmangel zu viel und einige arme sind gerissen oder gebrochen… bis jetzt kaum spürbar bin gespannt wie es weiter geht. Brauchen sehr lange mit dem Übergang in die Blüte. Mehr als Härchen noch nicht zu sehen. Dennoch viel Potential in Sicht.🐝

She's looking amazing 😍 I gave her some more LST sessions and she's reacting very nicely. I did cut the LST strings right after this photoshoot, she needs now to focus on building its preflowers.

Überraschung der Woche: Die Permanent Marker zeigt eine erstaunlich dominante Indica-Struktur, kompakt, kräftig und mit ordentlich Selbstbewusstsein. Die Blätter sind groß, sattgrün und sehen so gesund aus, als hätten sie einen Fitnessvertrag abgeschlossen. Das Wachstum läuft rund, mit einem angenehm kurzen Nodienabstand, der schon jetzt Lust auf die nächsten Wochen macht. Insgesamt wirkt die Pflanze stabil und gut im Saft, keinerlei Zicken oder Stresssignale. Beim Beschneiden wurde es dann plötzlich sehr geruchsintensiv, ein erstes olfaktorisches Versprechen auf das, was noch kommt. Getoppt wurde sie ebenfalls, um die Energie etwas besser zu verteilen. Dabei haben wir gleich die untersten zwei Triebe entfernt, die ohnehin nur Zuschauer gewesen wären. Sehr starker Auftritt in Woche 3, diese Dame meint es ernst.

Such a great week watching these ladies bulk up! It's looking like the gorilla zkittles won't get a full week on its current food schedule before I start it on its winter frost and flushing. The Red diesel and Phantom will probably take another two weeks on there food schedule. Happy growing people! I wish I would've started this grow sooner, then I wouldn't of ran out of stash during this quarantine!

I like the structure of this plant it starting to look pretty healthy ima hook up the watering system soon and flip to flower soon aswell
